Ya you are right. This engine has lost about 15k top speed compared to the previous year. The cylinder is worn beyond limits and therefore low on compression. Needs to be replated plus I run the ignition curve to ensure no blow ups. I could also easily go down at least one size on the main jet and needles and tweak the ignition, but its an old bike and I would rather finish the race then push the mechanical limits to only gain a small improvement.
Nice bike, though with all due respect, looks like its asking for some good tune, those bikes are famous for being much faster than this, a Stock Aprilia RS125 for the Street pulls similar to this one on the video.
Ya cheers Spook. Nowhere near as fast as you were/are. I watch a few vids of yours on your NF4 to see how fast they can be. I've now got the engine replated but now still setting up the engine for unleaded from avgas. Also got the suspension sorted so hope it will be a bit more support into the corners on the brakes. Was really looking fwd to the 2020 IFOS but have to wait until 2021 now. The fella who passed me on the line was No 83. Name on the comptime results page Good bloke and great to race with, clean and smooth
@@RossoOz Your lines are great. Taking the late apex at T2 is good (lines you up for T3) Your fast through T4 and your approach up to and through T12 onto the straight is dead on the money. Good luck at your next meeting.
Hi down there. Your top speed is missing 50 kmh. on this straight you should reach 200kmh with a proper tuned rs125.especially because it's still going downhill. but good ride! with a faster bike you will be in front of the field.
Great, but it's like not properly tuned or it's that stock? top speed is kinda slow and upper RPM is sluggish. Sorry but just wonder

@@RossoOz Makes sense.
I was wondering if fat, and geared a bit high. my rs is always betwee 11-13 on the rpm
Hello from Portugal 🇵🇹 .do u use a gimble with the camera to make it level horizontally when u turn?
G day, yes its a single axis gyro mount model WG lite. They don't make them anymore and I've not found anything else that has the same small profile.

I agree, id go down 2 mains and id also add a April systems det system for safe measure.
You rode a good race. Was that AM who passed you on the line?

Circuit..?
Nice ride but the carb is out of tune.. feels carb airscrew is out of tune or needle needs richer, carb is bogging down on full open
