It's really nice interviewing ordinary people (non-pro racers) which are enthusiasts like most of us out there, and know what their motorcycling life looks like. And really surprising information when she said that the bike can have an engine refresh in 20min, that was just WHAT!! I though she would say like an hour or so, great video though and really awesome bike, every 80s kid dream!
MCN used to be a bit of a joke with their terrible audio etc. but now they're one of my favourite channels, especially Mr Neeves content
It's an incredibly beautiful little bike
MCN never disappoints. not only for content wise, but a full video in one go, while other channels would cut and edit out stuff, MCN is always pure. its like the viewer is there with the guys talking and it does not feel like a video, it feels more like a story people share to each other and that is amazing.
I love this series. It's great to hear what you folks who do this professionally choose for personal bikes. I'd love to take a spin on a 'little' two stroke racer ... what a kick it must be. 👍
Love the smokers. And speed wise you have matched my modded CB650R at full tuck with clip-ons lol
Very nice indeed! Sat here with a big grin on my face, so much fun to hear you guys talking obviously very passionate about the ride and sport in general. Only which there was some clips of it in action while you mentioned that it sound great in the very last portion of the video.
Great video, no bull just passion for bikes & racing.
Wow! I love these videos. Great job! I would have loved to hear that beast crank up. That has to give you goose bumps. Best!
Cracking feature, gorgeous bike, more vids like these please.
More to come!
Use to wrench one for a racer many years ago. Incredibly easy to work on. Much easier than working on a superbike.
Wow-wow, what a special interview in lots of ways, how brill to see such enthusiasm! Thanks!
What a good video, I was just reading about Emma and a 125. I can’t wait for the next video. MCN is great.
Great video Mr Neevesy, loved this different style. Such a cool bike too, feeling the passion!
My two favourite bike journalists in one video.
Emma and neevs should do a project together for UA-cam. Second hand bike tests maybe.
Wow, fair play to her. Great bike, would of loved to hear it tho 👍🏼
That was really fascinating, learnt a lot. Thanks guys 🙏🏻
This is so cool. I love learning about these bikes you're never going to see on a showroom floor. Great video idea.
Wow what an amazing bike! Really enjoyed this video, thanks so much for sharing it here!!
Love the staffer interviews keep up the good work.
No video of it actually running? Should include that next time.
You don't want to put too many hours on a crank
Brilliant series!
Looking forward to more episodes
I used to race this motor and the rs250 engine in a superkart in the early 2000's. Karts are hard on engines with extra fat pipes and lots of grip. We didn't maintain them quite that much though. Beautiful bike.
Well that’s set the bar quite high!
Nice to see what you guys own!!
That was really interesting. Thanks for sharing with us Emma.
Very nice that, thank you Michael and Emma
That was an absolute pleasure to watch.
Such a great series 🔥 Gorgeous bike
i’ve had 3 RS125’s over the years… awesome bikes!
I heard it Neevsey, Emma said you're welcome to ride it! Would make a great video from preperation/start up and a few laps, 2 strokes are so rare these days!
Once a racer, always a racer.... I think we all thinks that way.... Beautiful little race bike! Thank you for letting us see it 🙂
Really interesting, thanks both!
Just wow. Amazing stuff ! 😍
Seen them at castle Combe, they set off half a lap after the 250,s started and the fast boys were catching the 250,s after three laps, really good to watch.
Great stuff, thank you for sharing.
Lovely bike Emma.
The purity of a true face bike is amazing to look at.
No way Neeves is fitting on that. 😉
Really good content 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Great video and lovely bike!
I have 92' Honda RS125 and Yamaha counterpart 2000 Yamaha TZ125 which both are amaziang to ride and very technical. These are the real thoroughbred racing machines which the new generation do not know the feeling is like.
Fantastic bike! Enjoyed that 👍
What a pretty motorcycle!😍
Great video! 👍🏻
Fantastic, more please! 😁🙏
What a beauty, the bike too.
I remember seeing Emma racing on a 125 at Darley Moor a few years back .
Beautiful dream bike, enjoy it !!! cheers
Very cool , interesting interview 👍😎
Hope to see more of these
Fair play, cool bike! 👏👍😀🏍
What a great bike and great owner!
Wow that is a serious machine!
Very interesting looking forward to more...
One of my dream bikes :)
Awesome bike!
Terrific video. Emma is fantastic. The bike weighs 70kg? Did I hear that correctly? Outrageous..
Fantastic ❤
beautiful bike. emma is a woman of culture!
Friend of mine won the British 125 championship twice on one of these. Beating the likes of Cal Crutchlow & Eugene Laverty. Happy days.
Fire it up!
I had a 2002 🤘
Funniest bike I had for Road racing in Sweden
Nice bike.
Does anyone know if honda uk are releasing the 400 super 4 like the yellow one I keep seeing pictures of?
I love it!
would have been nice to give a closer look to the billet cases and seel cylinder, mabey a tank off shot of the keihin carb.
Glad to see a phone is more important than what the owner is saying.
So nice hearing a woman’s perspective.
Pistons and cranks every few hundred miles is absolutely insane 😭🤣 lovely bike though 👌
70kg though...when it siezes pop it in your backpack
@@stevewallace853 haha true
What a highly strung bike but it looks great and the smell of a 2 stroke you can't beat it
As a learner rider here in Australia the bike of choice was always a RGV250 ,very similar
They were great fun.
I love the idea of racing 125's but remembering how (un)reliable my Derbi GPR road bike was puts me right of. I loved and hated that bike in equal messure but on the right road and on the right day you could put the shits up R6's.
The fuel economy and the 2 stroke oil usage made life difficult and in the end mine failed with a huge bang and never ran again. Also having absolutely no power whatsoever under 8k was annoying.
154lbs 🤯
beautiful bike
Not up too the bike you have I had a 125 Rd yamaha 1985 I think it was 25hp out the box definitely love your bike
You Brits are spoiled with the incredible selection of interesting classic sports/race bikes you can buy. Way nicer tracks and way more enthusiasm. We definitely have better riding weather here in the states (Hawaii) but our level of interest is pathetic 🙄. Another great series btw 👍.
The off road racing side is alive and thriving on the midwest. I wish we had a decent road course in my area.
hey!!
can anyone please provide a 3d scanned cad model of the frame and fairing of this bike ??? please.
I luv the smell of Castrol R in the morning...
Beautiful! I'm shocked at how often the crankshaft is replaced. Do they fail if not replaced? Is it a bearings or materials that are at risk?
They probably would fail. All the bits are working 4x as hard to make the power with such a small engine. I bet the mpg would be a shocker.
The (roller) bearing surfaces of the crank probably wear out, so you'd get play in the big end and things would go downhill very quickly from there
I race one of these bikes. The roller bearing cage in the big end is usually what breaks first as far as crank goes. Just gets fatigued
I have seen Emma race this at mallory park. She can ride.👍
0:59 is it a crack on the seam?
I do missmy 95 RS125
I still remember the days when Moody and Ryder would go ecstatic over a little Spanish kid that would go to dominate on this! I think he makes random apperances on Carwow these days
Honda is the best
Shame we didn't get to hear it running.
Nice bike basically a 120 mph 125.....Max weight 75kgs....don't leave the pits until it reaches. 60 deg C😊
All that anticipation of hearing it running 😢
I wonder if it could be fun getting a Cagiva MiTo or a Aprilia RS 125 2T and tune it as far as you can.
Be fun wile it was working OK. And frustrating when it wasn't.
You'd be better off with a slightly tuned Aprilia RS 250 :) cost you less in cylinders
@@mikiex i'd love an rs250. love tiny sportsbikes
@@mikiex I would think an Aprilia rs250 would make an easy 48hp actually it's 72.5hp @ 11900rpm
Very cool looking motorcycle, great video!
Rossi started on an aprilia rs 125
Think he meant the class of bike, not the exact model! FYI
How cool?
I’ve never seen a mouse-mat as a seat before…..
that bike is so sexy cant stop looking at it
Aspirational.
What a catch she is. The boyfriend is a lucky one.
70kg!
70kg 😂
2 stroke? Yuk....
