I enjoy watching these projects take shape. Look forward to progress as it comes! I have been knocking around "early" cars for few decades now here in Western Ma. and have met a lot a interesting folks along the way. Keep it going!
Don't be sorry life is crazy with kids and a business. I couldn't imagine recording everything I do for work and my free time car fun. Thanks for sharing.
Supercharger shaft, is the diameter worn? If an o-ring seal have you considered a quad-ring replacement. Direct replacement with double the seal contact. If it a matter of mechanical spacing would a machined spacer of Delrin or bronze resolved the issue? Or does a machinist need to replace the shaft?
Hey Travis good to see you back! Thank you for showing the generator bracket for the supercharger I'm missing that for mine. Who did you say was remaking the bracket? take care.
I vote for updates on customer cars since they'll be in the background of every 3W video anyway and it will avoid the questions of "what's that '39 pickup in the background?"
I think what is important going forward is you lookin' after your business because from that you can show us what happening on you personal builds. Most folks really do not appreciate the time, energy and commitment having regular content takes vs the return on that investment. It's a tough gig and not everyone can make it. I think you're doing a great job even without the customer stuff and I'm sure the customers will be happier because you have your priorities straight. Glad you're back!
I put a 57 GMC pickup on a Tahoe platform kept the firewall and all the wiring the power booster steering column AC unit and the four-wheel drive wiring and I didn't think it was a problem it's running and driving basically plunk the cab on the front part of the floor of the Tahoe in welded today did not disturb the wiring just took out power window wiring and other items not used airbag SRS system
Thoroughly enjoy watching your work so, not thrilled about the "customer work" news but this is no longer a "hobby" for you now so you "gotta do what you gotta do" to keep food on the table and all those shiny new tools coming !! Love it when projects like your 32 Three window or that 37 Sedan Delivery that look "hopeless" come in and slowly but surely "morph" back into very nice pieces at the hands of a skilled craftsman. Lots of people these days attach very little value to a "skill" but, for me, it's right up there with the creativity of the old painting and sculpting masters !!! Construction can be like that also. You show up at a "dirt lot" and a few months later, "presto", there's a building standing there !! Sorry about the "sermon" !!! ;o)
