In this video we will explain how to test immobilizer on BMW and how to know if your car is not starting because of a bad immobilizer or something else such as bad key, starter, relay, fuse and more. We demonstrated how to test immobilizer on BMW e46 but the same procedure will apply to multiple models.

Can you check same place for low fuel pressure due to ews?
Have yall done like a swap out on the ews modules, in particular im trying to get an ews from a '99 323i to a 2000 z3 because the chip/transpondent from z3 fob is missing. Would it work if i dont swap the ignition cylinder hence door locks, just put the chip into the key, and the modules on the dash?

Hello, I have a question about a 2005 745li bmw that turns over but won't start. Battery is fully charged and I just replaced fuel pump,spark plugs, and coils. Any suggestions on what i need to do next.
Same problem on my 745, have u fixed it/found the issue?

Hi and Thanks for your channel, I have a MB c220 cdi W203. I had a garage fit a replacement engine but it wont start. They said it had a crank censor warning which seems to fade and come and go. Are there any obvious things that would prevent it starting, It runs when they spray a bit of easy start!

Hello, I have the next problem with my e46 316i : I was driving the car and suddenly the engine was running very badly ( like it wasen't enough fuel coming to the engine) and at the first stop light, the engine died. Since than, the engine is not cranking anymore and also, when I turn the key on the 2nd position into ignition, the fuel pump doesn't engage ( I Don't hear the fuel pump working). I replaced the battery with a new one and it's the same. When I try to start de engine, the starter makes only click click click… Can you please help me with some ideas? Why my car doesn't get power at the starter and at the fuel pump? May a bad starter cut the power to the fuel pump also? Thank you for any advice.
Fuel pump and starter have different fuses the starter have like an 40 amps Fuse while the fuel pump have 20/25, maybe a dead fuse ( fuel pump only) and your starter maybe stuck
Hi boss, nice video. Definitely helpful. quick question , I do have a 2004 bmw x3 3.0 that it won't start, it was working properly and then next day won't crank and won't start. I do have my autel SCANNER and has a message on the immobilizer saying voltage supply of EWS control module. And there's another message on the DME saying DME power supply voltage is faulty or bad. Any ideas? Thanks!

I have a 2006 bmw series 6 650i. It was not running as it should so i took battery out and when i put back it will not start. I checked plugs injectors . there is no spark in the spark plugs. The injectors have no pluse. What could be tue problem? Thanks

Hi and thanks for the video, I have that problem with an e46, when I did the test the key said no ok in all the options and the number of key was intermittent between 1 and unknown. Now I have the doubt of what's wrong. I hope you can help me with that. ThankS in advance. Greetings from Mexico.

@@michaelcrawford6057 yes, I had two problems, one of the three wires of the starter was broken and the other reason was the chip of the key. I had to buy a new key and everything works fine now.
@@akalooney89 Thanks man, thats what I thought. My key now doesnt unlock the doors either. So I appreciate you pointing me in the right direction
@@michaelcrawford6057 that is something easy to solve, there are many videos here about that, you have to press some button while the switch it's in determinated position. Just look for "program key e46".
