In this weeks episode JD shows you how to remove the top speed limiter on a 1993 Nissan 240SX S13 without side-effects! That's the best part, right!? Well, yes, but it gets better...IT'S EASY TOO! Like, mindlessly easy. Bee-Tee-Dubs, we cannot stress this enough, Please drive responsibly! The top speed limiter was removed because the 240 was able to hit the limiter on the track, yes the race track, like a real legal race track, ok? Good. Now, go have fun!

Did you happen to know if this will also work on a KA24E?
Just unplug the O.D. switch (5th gear switch) on the transmission it's literally the only reason the transmission has an O.D. switch, to govern your speed. Unplug the switch and the ECU will never know if you're in 5th and will rev out to max rpm no matter how fast you are going speed wise

Is this possible on something like a 2003 Lincoln Navigator? It's set at 110MPH even though it can go a bit faster. Especially with the aftermarket parts I have
I suppose it is possible; however, I'm not sure how to do that for your application.
Will this same method work on a 2008 g35 Infiniti?

We don't have access to newer Altima at the moment. But, I assume for that car it would be a programmed in the computer and would need some sort of tuning done. Best of luck! Sorry that we couldn't help...

Would this work on a 2003 Nissan Frontier Ka24de 5spd?? Also does disconnecting the wires cause any dash lights on the 240sx?
Thats a great question! I'm not sure. I know they are a similar driveline and engine, but I cant say yes.

No we haven't. I would imagine that would be a computer software tuning thing.

We are unable to make that video, we do not have one to work with. However, I do believe it will need computer tuning/programming for that vehicle.

Is s14 would be exactly or same wire that I have to take it off? My car speed limit only 117mph exactly what you said😁
It's highly likely that is it is, but I can not say for sure. Check the wiring diagram to the ECU and disconnect the wire that comes from the vehicle speed sensor and it should work. Dont forget the sensors to the trans too. Just make sure the reverse lights work when you're done and let it rip! On the track that is 😁
@@GridLineGo I did a 5 speed swapped and those two sensor is not even connected at all. May be what you did in the video cutting wire to ecu harness will also work for me but not sure which one to cut?
What do you mean by s14 did you ment 2014 as I've the similar issues with my 2013.
Or just run an auto ecu
