A good mechanic always does a visual inspection BEFORE doing anything. Parker was quick to notice that the battery had a huge amount of buildup on the base which probably does mean the battery could be cracked and a cell or two could be faulty. He also noticed that castle nut in place of the factory bolt. What's awesome is the younger generation(that woman's daughter) recommended her mother to call Parker for a trust repair. His pricing was wicked fair and gave the woman confidence that her car is in good hands. Awesome video.

For $1800.00 canadian I will get a Launch or Autel. I currently use the Autel middle of the road BiDirectional scanner. A buddy of mine bought a TOPDON Phoenix Plus Bi-Directional Scan Tool with Battery Tester last month and it had to be sent back for a exchange and the exchanged unit just quit working. Topdon has not been proven to be a ace in the hole. I am really happy with my Autel but I need a better unit. The reason I hate companies that send out free products to You Tube creators is there are so many techs that are just starting out that could use a good scanner. But these companies do not think that way. That is another reason I will not buy a tool or equipment that is sent out to creators for free. They haven't earned my respect.

I love my topdon I got it because I saw how much you liked yours mine was like 200 bucks and dose everything I needed I’m just getting started doing my own mobile mechanics and I needed something better then just a basic code reader mine isn’t anything crazy but I can reset and re learn just about everything I need to highly recommend topdon mines so fancy I don’t even know how to use all the feature yet

For battery corrosion - use bicarb sprinkled liberally and drip water until it foams - leave 5 mins and clean...
