I've actually never seen anyone else's meta gameplay but this vid made me realize how "stiff" I've been playing. I've just focused on building one characters concerto at a time lol. Still been able to get max stars in tower but perhaps this can help it easier.
I really appreciate the idea and evidence you bring that even without perfect or optimal play, understanding this changli hypercarry team and it's goals can lead to clearing the content.
I literally use this team😂😂 im just now seeing this "drama." I've had no problem with this team it can clear that's all i care about. Having fun is always more important imo.
Saint and his chat are an echo chamber that attacks anything and everything. Pay them no mind. Agreed, fun over meta should not be a sentiment looked down on
when i got shorekeeper i ran into uptime issues with changlis rotation so what i personally did back then is just frontload zhezhis triple skill before SK ult to then just drop in Ult echo and be on changli... might have been less ideal than any other changli team but it cleared and that is what mattered to me im glad yt feed now recommends me actually helpful videos instead of extreme glazing and alienation (yes i play genshin yes im enjoying my time) i get from whatching saintontas stuff
kudos to this! this just proves that Wuwa's characters can be played in a lot of ways. there is no certain way to play the game unless you are having trouble and looking for guides that will be a different issue.
You have no idea how useful and educational this video is for me, especially timers and commentary. I personally avoid/ignore drama/glazing channels, but love watching guides, rotation, challenges, speedruns. Is this team not as effective as other options? or just not fun to play for you?
I'm glad this video was helpful. There are definitely better options. Changli is considered a sub DPS and her damage can't compare to main DPS like Jinshi or Camellya. In this team, you're funneling everything into Changli because Changli's outro does not benefit Shorekeeper or Zhezhi. This team is kinda fun to play but I don't see myself playing this team outside this video. I've already built main DPS to pair up Changli and Zhezhi.
Woah hey what a concept. Maybe instead of shitting on people for teams they run, make videos to showcase ways to use comps. Thank you for actually contributing something positive to the community over drama slop
I almost exclusively use suboptimal teams because there aren’t enough support characters for mono teams of each element. Mono-element team or themed teams like Powerpuff girls are just kinda fun for me. That’s why I can’t wait for Carlotta, with Zhezhi and Baizhi. I haven’t figured out optimal rotations for any of my teams to be honest, but it’s fun to try to learn unpopular comps. Too bad I suck at rotations lol.
Putting your money where your mouth is. Great demonstration. Some people like to overemphasize the difficulty of the game, when in fact, all you need is time and game knowledge.
that buff uptmime is such a nice addition. maybe even mark whats active and whats not Edit : ur cleartime here does prove that the team isnt even that bad. Having a 'perfect' play on this team should still net u around 60-70s mark
Yeah definitely not a trash team or makes someone bad for wanting to use it. I don't get why people can't just enjoy the team flexibility the game allows
I mean if I see a character like Lingyang where people says he is trash and hated, Im maining him cuz a gacha game to me is to try out every character, also because he is the only character I havent gotten yet when I lose the 50/50, mostly its encore or Jianxin. I want to try out that cute fluffer and dishout with liondancing respect and balance (also his gameplay and basic attacks looks sick) I have become an Aalto main from a few videos of him soloing like Chixia (which im building her next after Encore) cuz mist aggro, shotgun mid air bullets and poke dash playstyle oozes coolness.
holy shit, it's a great video, seriously it really is, I don't know if my comment in the previous video came out how I wanted, but like I didn't mean to make fun or anything like that... so sorry if I offended.
This is my changli team, i cleared everything using this team, and I've beaten all holograms with it except infernorider, used xiangli yao, zezhi, and Shore for that. Changli, zhezhi, and Shorekeeper have literally never let me down.
2:22 A nice little trick that you can use with Inferno Rider is dodging right after you start the third hit of it's combo, the timing is a bit tight tho. To pull it off consistently I recommend you learn to time each hit of the combo instead of spam clicking, that way you can just click once to start the third hit of the combo and dodge right after to basically separate yourself from the Inferno Rider without cancelling it's attack. Also those buff timers are really nice :) but do they actually work like that? Do they not freeze during ult animations?
Thanks for the tip! I didn't know that and will use this tip to improve my gameplay next time. I overlook the buff timer possibly freezing when you're using the ultimate. I'm not sure if it freezes or not. I'll test it out when I have the chance.
I think everybody (not all; ik ironic) is focused on res lib changli rather than her res skill which is her forte btw. No zhezhi but could go for taoqi. Great vid
Hey, i have noticed that your buff timer continues to tick even during liberation animation. I am pretty sure the time stops for buffs(not 100% sure) so i think you had all the buffs during every rotations, which is why all of changli's liberation damage was exactly the same. I like the idea of showing the buff timer tho but do keep the time stop in mind. I came from the other video and i still abide by my comment that this team is really bad for a team that takes away 3 limited 5star meta characters, clear time would be around 3min35sec if you fix the big mistakes which is pretty bad considering the fact that this floor heavily favours changli. But ey, good video nonetheless.
I didn't know the buff timer stops during liberation when I was creating the video. I was able to test and confirm it earlier today and it does stop when you use liberation. If I decide to make a similar video to this in the future, I will not make that mistake again. I've never advocated this team to be good. The message I was trying to get across was this team can clear Hazard 2 and it's not that bad. I recorded a run with perfect rotation and buffs all lined up but I decided against using that run. I thought showcasing a non perfect run would be a better viewing/learning experience.
@EvacGachaGaming Ah i see, you were tearing through that weird Mr.snowman(i forgot his name) so i thought that your point was that the team itself is really good XD. But yeah, all teams are usable with good skills in wuwa so people can use whatever they want.
Not everyone thinks and is capable like you, that's why Saintontas said it's a team lacking in mutual support (except for the Shorekeeper). You can get it done but what about everyone else? That's why using a team that complements each other will make it easier for you to play even if your ability is only average, and the Wuthering Waves is not considered by others to be a game with poor battle design.
real. no one is literally gonna do this and waste their time when there are more better options just to clear TOA content. still tho play any characters that you want just make sure you can beat TOA content and actually 3* it
Yep, but this is paid off by seeing the satisfaction of the smooth Changli + Zhezhi combo. So on wuthering waves u have skill, u have many team to build up "mastering mechanic on game"
" You can get it done but what about everyone else?" The point is that the team is good enough if you learn how to play it. If you want to play a team with Changli buffed up to the max and doing 100k fortes without sequences, you can absolutely do it and clear. For example, I play many team combinations that are not "optimal" and clear with them. This is one can't even be called weak compared to some that I play, like Jianxin+HRover. The main difference here is playing with characters you like vs playing what's meta just to clear easier. I like the game and using characters I like, so I try to clear with combinations that at least make some sense in order to use characters in a particular way I want. The idea with Jianxin and HRover was just because I like Jianxin's playstyle and also wanted to make Rover's ult hit 250k while still clearing with 3 stars. It's fun. I'll only call a team bad if it can't clear that minimum 3 stars with a decent build.
The only bad part of this team really is just Zhezhi lmao, she IS stupid strong, but this is not how you use her considering her Liberation doesnt work with either Shorekeeper and Changli(I mean they do work, just not as effective) and her Outro is useless for them, you use her alongside Youhu and Sanhua(Potentially Carlotta in the future to replace Sanhua) Other than that, yeah i just see the guy who made this team just had skill issue since despite the bad synergy, its only 1 out of 3 thats bad
Aalto, Yangyang, and Jianxin are FAR from bad combination tho Aalto is a really good Single Target killer, you play him by doing his rotation normally but instead of doing ground basic attack, you use Aerial instead and his damage SKYROCKET For Yangyang, dont use the Healer Set build, run Energy or Aero instead, shes supposed to be DPS Support not Pure Support, and she is REALLY good for Quickswaping(Theres a tutorial out there that talked about this) Jianxin is way better than she looks, shes just the safest to play character

same here.. It kinda sounds like skill issue a bit.
Saint and his chat are an echo chamber that attacks anything and everything. Pay them no mind. Agreed, fun over meta should not be a sentiment looked down on
@@b1b-O7I get what you mean but this whole time I was playing Shorekeeper wrong and realised it because of him and his chat lmao
when i got shorekeeper i ran into uptime issues with changlis rotation so what i personally did back then is just frontload zhezhis triple skill before SK ult to then just drop in Ult echo and be on changli... might have been less ideal than any other changli team but it cleared and that is what mattered to me

Changli's outro does benefit Shorekeeper though, since her intro skill is considered as Liberation damage. However, she doesn't hit as hard.
@@rellgenki That's true. I overlooked it since my Shorekeeper is S0 and her crit damage is low.
Thanks for the correction!
Woah hey what a concept. Maybe instead of shitting on people for teams they run, make videos to showcase ways to use comps. Thank you for actually contributing something positive to the community over drama slop
this is why i watch WuWa videos learning new method as i watch. now i know that i should use Zhezhi ult first thing before doing anything.
you changli + zhezhi gameplay very smooth
Good for you man, i had a hunch that he had some skill issues 😂
Oh my god this is LITERALLY my strongest team. It's so fun to play the PRIMARY color lmao
I almost exclusively use suboptimal teams because there aren’t enough support characters for mono teams of each element. Mono-element team or themed teams like Powerpuff girls are just kinda fun for me.

I assume this implies you want a carlotta hypercarry team? If you figure out a rotation that can keep all the buffs on carlotta that sounds sick
@ Yeah that’s the plan 😂 Pretty exciting!
Putting your money where your mouth is. Great demonstration. Some people like to overemphasize the difficulty of the game, when in fact, all you need is time and game knowledge.
I love how you took the criticism and improved upon keep the hard work

This is actually a clean rotation, there may be some mistaps here and there but I get the gist of it.
you earn my respect, and u deserve a sub too.
I mean if I see a character like Lingyang where people says he is trash and hated, Im maining him cuz a gacha game to me is to try out every character, also because he is the only character I havent gotten yet when I lose the 50/50, mostly its encore or Jianxin. I’m just gonna say right now literally everything can work with the current difficulty of the game
Not quite everything😅. Replace Changli with Taoqi and you will not clear
🤣
