Hey I have a question since you are doing mobile tires how is it balancing tires? Is there a specific wheel balancer to use? Does the machine calabration get thrown off?

That is a great and common question. I would recalibrate the machine every time I would park for a job, to ensure the balancer is considering any slopes.

Gotta be honest buddy, the cross jacking , laying wheels flat on floor when putting air in them, clamping from the inside of a alloy wheel, red flags to me. The set up is identical to uk spec tyre vans, but some of the ways you work are no no's to me simplest one was just no rim protector, i would be suprised if you havent scratched or gouged a wheel, can i ask if you are needing to recalibrate after 2 wheels on the balancer is that not a static shop set up as opposed to a mobile balancer ? Im lucky if any of our 2 vans need rebalanced after a year never mind in the middle of a job. Sorry dude not being harsh or salty just my opinion after years on the roadside, keep safe 👍

Thanks for the feedback and for sharing your point of view. I don't know if it could have been the balancing machine, but we often had issue with balancing. But well perhaps training from the vendor who sold us the van would have improved this. Lesson learned. Thanks for watching.

You should torque every wheel to manufacturer’s spec with a torque wrench.

I actually have a quote from them for $70K but looking at your vans tells me they do good work and clean. I’ve been calling Bush specialty vehicles but no answer.

John, he doesn't torque, he cross-jacked it, he inflates the tire to 80 psi to pop the bead because he's using the wrong lube or not enough of it - What do you think? He thinks his van if 52' long FFS
