Pennsylvania will always be my home state! Lived there most of my childhood days and visited Pa. Grand Canyon once. Took some slides and am going to look for them now after seeing this video which I humbly thank you for sharing!
I love hiking trails I haven't been on yet. It provides a tickle to my curiosity about what it looks like around the next bend... or what I may see along the way. That red fox was awesome. Great views along the way.
I was supposed to ride the Pine Creek trail about month ago. But unfortunately I was injured in an accident and sustained a broken pelvis...ending my cycling and hiking for the next 6 month's or so. Thanks for taking me there and on all of your adventures! Very much enjoy all of them. Keep them coming and I'll keep the thumbs up 👍 coming!
West Rim Trail is 30 miles. The best part is the northern half from Bradley Wales Picnic Area, up towards that lookout past Colton Point. Many great lookouts on that 12 mile stretch.
We have a village called Barbours here in Lycoming County in the Tiadaghton State forest. Go through and it and your in Rock Run. Beautiful. Old logging roads that run through, with the Low road following the water and campsites. Amazing Waterfalls and Holes that are so deep they actually go underground and connect with other holes. If you take the High road it leads uphill to what is called Bandrock overlook. Where you can see all the way accross the valley to the other side. Where the Loyalsock/Tiadaghton State Forest picks up in Hillsgrove Pa. At night you can see the campfire at lookouts/vistas accross the valley. Amazing place. Oh, and the water is ice cold even on the hottest days of summer. Sooo refreshing. Oh yeah almost forgot. On the Rock Run low road there is a very old graveyard. Enjoy
That Barbour Rock Overlook was beautiful. All it needed was a red christmas tree bulb hanging from that pine tree limb. I think that would have set off the whole view. !!!
Thanks again for the hike that I can't do for myself, I walked 160' today with the ipop on with full body weight on it. I'll have my new leg in a few weeks .
What a Gorgeous trail WW! Beautiful indeed! I too wouldn't have stood on that rock sticking out over the canyon. There are risks in life but some risks can be avoided. Kid of like that ladder inside that abandon plant at or near the falls in NY. That ladder that went up high into the black abiss. No way! Like the rock, especially since one cannot see how it is anchored into the mountain. Even well anchored, no thanks. I risk driving every time I go into town and that's good enough of a risk for me. So Thanks Kindly for sharing this beautiful trail. Greatly appreciated indeed! DaveyJO
Did the Wandering Woodsman make it back to the cabin in time for hot dogs? Tune into the next show to find out! Does he eat his dog with mustard, onion and relish? Cole slaw or chili and cheese? Or, gasp, catsup? lol We had a white squirrel for a few years back here in the country. S/he was practically tame.
How awesome that view is!! I would love to see you do this when the leaves change color how amazing that would be!!

I love the Pennsyvania Grand Canyon! And I discovered many of your videos that I have not seen. I think it will take a while to view them all.

Hi Cliff, so many beautiful hikes and cool wildlife. Thank you so much for sharing. x
Loved the squirrel closeup. I haven't been to the Little Grand Canyon at Mt. Saint Helens, but between the other two, I prefer PA.
Thanks, brings back memories.

Beautiful area
I used to drive out to that general area once in a while to visit Woolrich, but didn't know the PA Grand Canyon existed.
Always like going there , was there in June .
