so cool they give us all the tools
greta video man!
Thank you!
are the procedural pcg features there in the demo, so we can try rearrange the forest? Edit:it does, thanks for sharing, havent downloaded it yet :)
Hah, yes you can. It’s a fun thing to play with
Can other purchased assets be added to this scene without issues (characters, props, etc...)? I wouldn't expect them to be procedural of course.
Of course, it's just regular project that is made for standard 5.2 Engine. As long as your assets work with 5.2 there shouldn't any issues with adding new props / assets to project.
Anyone know how to fix the D3D gpu crash error? I have an i9 13900k and 4080
What PC specs do you have?)
Actually, what I am more concerned about is whether the material of this scene is
Made with the Substrate new material system!
It is. There is sample material, same material they use for the car
foliage material seems to be tarnsfered from old version material
How can i open this project ?
Hey! You just create a project. If you get specific issue, you can join mine discord and I can help you there.
I have been trying to deduce what it is about so many UE5 demos that just doesn't look right. I have complained many times before about a persistent opaque, matte look, which is apparently due to shaders. Can anybody confirm whether this is true, and if so, why the hell would this be the engine's default setting? It's godawful. But there was something else I couldn't quite put my finger on, and I think I've realised what it is. It's the lack of distinct colour separation. It makes everything look homogenous and just kind of... bleh. This could either be due to the shaders, again, or due to colour grading, which I detest.
Do you know why plasma and oled displays are so immensely preferred over LCD displays? It's because they do not suffer from the opaque, matte effect caused by the LCD's backlight. It is a transparent improvement, no pun intended. Plasma and oled give us a wider spectrum of colour, more distinct colour separation, and unparalleled translucency. In other words, the technology more faithfully approximates human vision, thereby creating an objectively superior viewing experience. In light of this, why are developers creating games with an opaque, matte aesthetic we readily acknowledged to be undesirable? I believe there is either a malevolent intent behind this, or it is due to a defect of reason. A mind virus, if you will, though a comparatively benign one. There is certainly no shortage of mental pathogens lately.
In any case, I really hope these problems are not inherent to the engine. I hope it can be changed. If not, Rockstar's RAGE 9 engine will have a massive advantage over UE5 when GTA VI is finally released. I'm assuming Rockstar's engine won't suffer from the same problem, of course. Red Dead Redemption 2 had it a little, I think, but GTA V doesn't have it, so I hope that means GTA VI will be unscathed.
Your pc spec
Hey! I have my PC build video in my channel with all my pc spec. I think only thing that has changed is more ram.
