Hi Justin, I'm the guy that always had Optimus questions for you. I was able to learn alot from your previous videos. That sensor cable at 6:30 can develop corrosion on the pins so it should be disconnected, inspected, cleaned and re-lubed annually, in my opinion. I had that issue and alot of other owners do as well.
I always see this issue on the pumps when they are placed in the bilge of the boat. Some manufacturers are now placing them further forward of the bilge to prevent this problem.
Hey i wanted to ask What part number for the seal kit did you use for the end caps on those cylinders? Are those the EC5310 cylinders ? Thanks and great Videos.
How can these props rust that much? I thought they were CNC-ed out of solid stainless 316? One would almost think that there is something in that lower part which is of a higher quality!

Did you say that the Optimus system is a bay star/sea star with the power added
Thank you and yes. It's all the same company. Dometic bought Sea Star/Optimus.

HS5157 is the part number. I'm not sure what model rams it had. I know the seal kit works for almost every Sea Star outboard cylinder. 😊
Thank You So much i appreciate your reply. I used those same end caps on the optimus cyclinders i was working on fit perfect.

Not sure either. Seems excessive.
