I usually prefer market orders when the stock is super volatile so I can get in pretty quickly. I haven’t gotten bad entries but thanks for shedding some light on how they can be dangerous.

Limit orders. Because of TOPS a few years ago I held it overnight and was up like a dollar a share, it was bouncing around, market sold for what was around a $300 gain and boom. Dropped right when I sold and turned the $300 gain into 200 and was right back to the price I thought I was selling at in seconds.

Not trading, working my way through Pennystocking Silver DVD's, Trader Checklist, all Steadytrade Podcasts and more video lessons before I start paper trading for a month as you've previously suggested to get used to how fast the market moves and then start with small sizes.
    Prepare, prepare, prepare.

Hey man, congrats on the progress youve been making! I am about a year into my research and do not have a brokerage account yet, although im close. If you havent looked into it, i highly recommend you check out a trial version of StocksToTrade or any other software, just to watch the markets move. During the trial i was paper trading, and it really helps you get a better understanding of the whole process. Also, look into that Complete Pennystocking Guide, its an invaluable resource, even well after reading it. I hope you find this information useful!

You learn from history! (I'm a student of yours now, 2022), I am just a month into learning and was struggling with stop orders. In my defense, the course has SO MUCH information (not complaining, it's a good thing) anyway, I didn't catch the fine tuning while I was practicing. So, tonight I still needed to put in more study time but I was taking a break and surfing your channel. I like the interviews, they are so good! Anyway, I found the answer I was looking for in this video. You're still saying the same things 4 years later and they are still every bit as applicable to the market and my training today! So glad to be part of the challenge and the team! I cannot thank you for all the thousands and thousands of hours you have put into all the lessons, videos, market review, chats, newsletters and alerts that make successful. P.S. I know as your student I could have shot support an email, and had the answer, or for that matter asked you in chat, and I appreciate knowing I have that as backup or get stumped on something, but if I dig and find the answer myself, IT STICKS! Limit orders all the way!

I mostly use limit orders. However, when I was raising cash to buy a car last month, I used market sell orders to make sure all the stocks sold that day so I could have the cash before the end of that week.

Yeah, I use limit orders, but sometimes don't get filled, especially on the paper trading where the price is moving but my data is delayed a bit. Or I see a price go the OTHER direction, and I try to cut my losses quickly, and I don't get the best price on the exit.

I'll be using your advice on limit orders. Makes sense to me and I would rather be in control of my decisions on entry and exit points. Thanks for making it so clear as to looking at your performance above the money!!! I think that is one of the biggest things as I get started is to not focus on money but rather am I executing a good plan? Like you always say, we need to know even in a loss that did we make a good play or did I lose because I was stupid and shouldn't have been in that particular trade?? Thanks man

Already placed the application in. Is there any future sales coming for the trading tickers, penny stock frame work, etc...? J/w. Will be getting them ultimately either way.

Again, I know you think it’s good to pay commissions, and I know you hate that OTCs can’t be traded on Robinhood, and that you can’t short on Robinhood, BUT overall it’s not the enemy.

Don’t follow his rules. Do actual research and learn the stock market on your own. Because then if he’s wrong and you lose tons of money following his advice instead of learning how to read charts and do it yourself then you’ll be assed out. So just read a book on stock market or pay for a legit stock market course
