Jacob question on the single front mount under the hood turbo can i run the turbo on the left side of the engine bay where the cold air intake sits? So i dont have to relocate the computer and fuse box. If i have to relocate the fuse box and computer where is a good location for it.
The single turbo kits sit on the driver side, where the intake would be. At the moment I'm not making the single turbo kits, there's a lot more welding involved and it's a lot more complicated to get it right. I will eventually crank-out some twin turbo kits that will be a little more engine bay friendly, but the price will be higher.
@@warpony5654 on this current twin kit yes, you would have to relocate your fuse box. Mine didn't have to go far I just pushed it down closer to the fan. I needed to lengthen one harness and the ground cable. You don't necessarily have to relocate the reservoir coolant tank, like I did. Depending on how you set up the intercooler system. I did because it was easier for me. But you may find another way with more intercooler parts.
How did you get the grill to hook on to the duraflex front bumper, i purchased a front bumper but i cant get the grill or the front blinker lights to stay on in, any advice on what parts i should buy?
I also went with custom blinker housing. They we're not yellow, but clear and mirror-like. The blinker housings I put on exactly how I put the body kit on with set screws. It may not be the most beautiful way to do it but at least I know they're not going to accidentally fall off.

Damonte Manning Depends on the turbos you use. small ones may be able to go underneath but as close to the engine as possible. most turbo setups require the headers be non-stock non-cast , steel that can be welded so they can be fabricated (likely shortened) to fit a turbo inside the cars engine bay. It's possible to fit turbos at the end of your headers but just know they may have to be smaller turbos. like .51

I find that a lot of things I ordered from eBay are worth it. you just got to know what you are spending as far as what you're buying on eBay, and what you're going to have to pay for after you have it to put on your car or whatever.
There are no turbo kits that bolt onto this make and model from eBay. that's something that will have to have other parts made and put together to be able to do that
the turbo kits that you see on the car in other videos were it's sticking out of the hood would require someone to cut a section out of their hood for it to fit but other than that it's all complete bolt on.

@@Michael_knight1981 as long as the kit fits the specifications for the type of turbo that you're looking for, or if you can have someone make adapters for it the kit is still fine, even if the original turbo wears out later. I'm sure you already know this but it's rumored that turbos on eBay go bad fast. So far this in the wear equally as the more expensive turbos that I've noticed...

@@john21alienworkshop There is one down in Los Angeles that will tune you're car, but there is a cheaper and closer one in the high desert called Krazy RPMs in the city of Adelanto. I got price checking and tuner availability quotes from this Dyno shop although I have not gotten my car dynoed buy them.

It's not advisable for everyone. the best thing to do would be to go twin turbo with the same exact turbos at .51 for this car specifically. Maybe, if Im successfully running twins in my car then I might post a link for headers that can be simple bolt-ons for turbos above the engine to be used on this model. but don't wait on me, because if you or others can get it done right now or soon, then do it. but we'll see...
Damonte Manning I've got an extra whole bolt on turbo kit for this car, minus the intercooler stuff now. I know it's been a while, but I'm still testing the one that's on my car.
1.5in spacers for the front and 2in the back. The rims are 11 inches wide and they are 20s. The tires are pretty thin, and I haven't looked at those size measurements in a long time...
Parker Garletts wheel spacers. but the hard part is cutting the wheel lip to the right specs (which I have not done), and installing new wheel lips that extend over the wheel to ensure the tires don't hit the fenders when going over large bumps.

My dirt roads were a bit abusive, so I had to redesign the turbo to the top of the car. So far it's Ben nothing but the designing and redesigning on this new one.

I'm not sure I understand the question. I relocated the turbo to a top mount since this video. Took a while to redesign. Now I'm just waiting on my Dyno appointment. I'll post the first three runs next month.

Sorry I haven't responded, been working on other designs. That turbo can give me up to 689hp to the wheel. I only tested it up to 4 hundred something....

I ended up putting on a different front grill it was a longer and wider matching mesh to blend in with the kind that came with the bumper.
