- The PLUNGE in Danao Adventure Park, is the deepest canyon swing in the world and the only one in Southeast Asia.
Jump off 70m vertical free fall over the steep rocky cliff, over the boulders of wild Wahig River at 280m above canyon floor.
Canyon swing in NZ is only 60m free fall
Canyon swing in Nepal is only 240m deep

I did the plunge back in 2017, such a rush. They have a zipline there too, and that to me was far more sketchy than the plunge.

I have to ask - Why is she wearing a helmet? If something happens to the rope she is tethered to, she is going to die anyway so why bother with a helmet?
It’s for safety reason, specially when you’re down there.. By the way the static rope is only secondary line, the main line is a cable with 5 tons working load capacity.. It won’t snap even if you put 20 Shaquille O’Neal at the same time. 😊
@@CanadaInternationalStudent I understand that the main cable is very strong. However, accidents have occurred due to that cable being improperly secured to the platform, to use only one example. My point is, if there is a failure of some sort - and that DOES occasionally happen - having a helmet makes no difference in the safety of the individual doing this.
its for minor accidents, like hitting their head from passing out on the platform before they take the jump.
