He's constantly touring, writing music in several bands and started his own guitar company. Also before health issues he drank excessive amounts of alcohol but stayed away from drugs which had to be hard playing for Ozzy and living in the world of Rock Star excess. Seen him live with Oz and BLS and he is a sonic force that kicks you right in the balls. I met him and he is a humble friendly dude who really treats his fans with respect and appreciation. 🤘🎸🔊
Randy will always be my favorite guitar player. Jake E was an assassin. But Zakk is Ozzy's Lancelot. He has fought the most battles and won the most wars. Thank God Zakk hung around for as long as he did.
Just saw these guys last week. I brought my 15 year old kid (he's a drummer) to see Ozzy for his first concert. He was unreal, I would totally go again. Zak is insane. Was such a throwback to how I grew up in the 80's...this is what a rock concert is all about. Ozzy's a total showman...frickin awesome!

(with Black Sabbath technical ecstacy) and I remember at one point in the concert he made an offhand comment (as if he were suddenly exhaling) and saying that "I don't know how much longer I can do this"........and here he is all these years later. My first metal concert ever was Ozzy in 1988..No Rest for the Wicked, when Zakk was a skinny kid with blonde hair. I remember him doing his guitar solo and saying "How the hell can someone pick that fast". Now he makes these guitars look like toothpicks. If I could only go back to those times.

He’s not my kinda player. He sounds like a two trick pony to me. Fast pentatonic and pinch squealing. He’s undoubtedly a great guitarist in his own right, but to me he was always the worst guitarist ozzy had. I was surprised he beat out George Lynch’s third audition after dokken broke up, but it is what it is.
Saw this tour in 1984 in Las Vegas at the Thomas and Mack Center. I was 13 and my dad was cool enough to take my brother and I. Dad was a nuclear engineer at the Test Site and looking back at him at an Ozzy concert is pretty funny. Thanks Dad.

I was the last too audition right behind zak attack and I was to addition to Randy roads who just become my friend who really would at party's rather go play guitar cause he called me over in a connex and showed me a run I went home and played at his energy I learned everything but they came out telling me they try me another time and it broke me cause zak was their choice. I'm going to have to wake up ozzy again and show how fast this goes it takes a month to get album down and I would be playing for the best bass player in the history of our days and just the best .

I was the last too audition right behind zak attack and I was to addition to Randy roads who just become my friend who really would at party's rather go play guitar cause he called me over in a connex and showed me a run I went home and played at his energy I learned everything but they came out telling me they try me another time and it broke me cause zak was their choice. I'm going to have to wake up ozzy again and show how fast this goes it takes a month to get album down and I would be playing for the best bass player in the history of our days and just the best .
