+screamingshiter, I have to agree man and i am a huge Jake e lee fan, he was one of my main influences onGuitar the back on the 80's. Clearly he is not practicing much on his own and to me that is not a good idea if you are trying to make a solid comeback. Hearing his play like this is sad for me. he did not even do the ending lead part correct and that is a highlight to his fans on guitar.
Guitarded_ 5150 it's not 83/84 anymore and as a guitar fan of his I'm fine with his deviations as I don't expect it to be played note for note or even to the level when I saw him in 83. For Christ sake the guy was probably 59/60 when this was recorded so ease up or post yourself nailing it note for note as he's doing this for fun now.
I just heard an interview where Jake E where he said he won't play any Ozzy era stuff during show on Patina tour. He should absolutely play at least Bark At The Moon. If DJ would give that song his best, It would kick their whole show right in the ass! The Patina record is already a classic in my opinion!
Very good guitar playing and bass playing! Jake E. Lee has always been one of my favorite shredders. The drums are wrong and too slow and the singer is great lounge singer at best.😀
I couldn't even watch the whole thing, Jake is a fucking legend, he deserves better! He should be surrounded by A-list musicians anytime he is on stage.
He hasn’t played it in 30 years... relax... drop whatever you like to do, (gaming, any hobbies, sports, etc) and come back the next 30 years and tell me how it went. No? All negative remarks are invalid. It would take you 99 lifetimes to achieve, sustain and keep rockin’ while engraving a helluva legacy for the next 100 years (if not more).

It sucks that the world class guitar player Jake is not in any big band anymore to get even more recognised. Atleast i see Jake fans everywhere, and people loving his new song "Havana" in 2018 with this band.
If I could go back to the 80s I would put a band together with Janie lane in vocals ...(warrant) rhythm guitar Robbin Crosby(ratt) Jake E.Lee lead guitar( ex Ozzy) bass player would be Dana strum (ex Vinnie Vincent invasion- ex slaughter) drummer Tommy Lee ( motley Crue)
This band live in an intimate setting, right up in your face. The Bass Player is from Jake's old band, bandlands. Singer is fucken kicking and the drummer is top notch. You can clearly see the fans licked it all up.
The lead singer reminds me of that singer soto. Jakes just a beast on the guitar. I loved his guitar on bark at the moon and I think the ultimate sin album is very underrated. Jake was amazing on that album also. I wish I had seen that tour back then. Been to so many amazing concerts back in the 80s when the music was great and people weren’t on their phones. U actually had the time of your life. Kids today would never understand lol😂 And yes that bass player was great also
With no doubt about it Jake is definitely an amazing and influential guitarist. But as for me I think it's really cool to see him playing in a small venue because that is still one of the best ways to take your music to the people
Yes Jake was the Man , back in the day ! Ozzy has quoted in saying, that "The Ultimate Sin" was his worst album.. But, i definitely don't think that !!.. Even Zakk Wylde has commented, saying Jakes playing was a style all to its own..

Clearly he is not practicing much on his own and to me that is not a good idea if you are trying to make a solid comeback.
Hearing his play like this is sad for me.
he did not even do the ending lead part correct and that is a highlight to his fans on guitar.
cutigers68 bs. he is sloppy and loose and misses a note every other measure
you his music teacher? he's just jamming. in metal there is no wrong or right!!!!!!!
Just listen to the song Bitter!
Jake ! One of the best things that happened to heavy metal rock!🙏👏👏
Why does this not have 5 Billion Views? Boggles the Mind
Very good guitar playing and bass playing! Jake E. Lee has always been one of my favorite shredders. The drums are wrong and too slow and the singer is great lounge singer at best.😀
Agree with you 100%
I couldn't even watch the whole thing, Jake is a fucking legend, he deserves better! He should be surrounded by A-list musicians anytime he is on stage.
Nice of the band to wear their own shirts 😂
Personally Jakewill always be my favorite Ozzy guitarist
Jake is Bruce Lee of bluesy rock guitar playing
Jason Rollins
They are cousins
Yeah Bruce Lee engineered the first black Sabbath record and Ozzy use to babysit Jake that's how he got gig
I want these days back. So, very bad. Live music like that must come back.
Jake is amazing. One of the best ever.
A world class musician with amatures.
Jake's still the man. The rest of the band sucks so much it's not even funny, my god....
J.E.L. was somethin else man!! Thank u for making music that was such big a part of my youth.
Omg jake e lee still plays like a god!
mattias säw Damn you and i saw and heard two completely different performances.
Scott Patterson sounded good to me. Don't know what you heard.
This sounded fucking horrid
This is the worst ever i’ve heard of jake
He hasn’t played it in 30 years... relax... drop whatever you like to do, (gaming, any hobbies, sports, etc) and come back the next 30 years and tell me how it went. No? All negative remarks are invalid. It would take you 99 lifetimes to achieve, sustain and keep rockin’ while engraving a helluva legacy for the next 100 years (if not more).
Woah! Lil rough with some of the comments... fascinated at how so many ‘experts’ just so happen to chime in about the band. I’d play with that band anyplace, anytime. Pretty sure JEL knew what the hell he was doing when he got these guys together. I’m just glad he’s back 🤘🏼
Singer blows for this gig. He's good in other bands....just not Jake's band.
Markus Maxwell wow giving him some undue credito
He's a great guitar player, awesome to watch
The singer thinks he's Dio lol
JFC that drummer threw the anchor out. Holy dragging tempo...
THREW THE ANCHOR OUT!!! 😂😂😂
Kids today would never understand lol😂 And yes that bass player was great also
This singer is like a parity of a rock singer.
um gun and roses is two doors down lol
*parody*
"Parity" means "equal to" or "the equivalent of." You're probably trying to say, "parody."
With no doubt about it Jake is definitely an amazing and influential guitarist. But as for me I think it's really cool to see him playing in a small venue because that is still one of the best ways to take your music to the people
Only this:
Jake E Lee:
N°1
God job video guy for capturing the solos!
drummer sounds offbeat. jake e lee is awesome though
Yes he does. I'd like to see Jake jam with some of the best musicians.
Great video, such amazing guitar playing
Yes Jake was the Man , back in the day ! Ozzy has quoted in saying, that "The Ultimate Sin" was his worst album.. But, i definitely don't think that !!.. Even Zakk Wylde has commented, saying Jakes playing was a style all to its own..
Well, Ozzy is entitled to have his own opinion...but Ultimate Sin is a great album, one of Ozzy's finest...and Jake's work was really, really good. Period !!
One of his worst selling albums to that date but it was the grunge days
I think Jakes playing is great but Ozzy kind of ruined some of the tracks on ultimate sin, some great riffs had just ok vocals/lyrics
Rob Zombie Grunge days? Huh? It came out in 86
Jake is a total badass.... PERIOD. It's non negotiable and non debatable. You can light yourself on fire, click your heels together three times, whatever.....nothing you can do will change the fact that he is a badass. My head just exploded from his awesomeness and my adrenaline is so high I can't even feel it yet. Jake rules!!
I get pumped every time I hear it! Every time! It's hard not to yell, "WOO!" when it finishes.
Omg. That drummer BLOWS!! I WOULD SMOKE HIM ON THIS TUNE.
Jake Lee.. THE BEST--!! Greeting from Venezuela..!!
Awesome!
Fucking right on Jake I am just learning this song and it is so hard to play you make beautiful music Brother and love to all the band here they are doing what bands were meant to do and that is make people feel alive :-)
heard Jake didnt touch guitar alot. didnt effect his badass playing. glad hes back
He sounds like the album! No knocking the band, geez, they're rockin out with Jake E Lee, I'd be too busy watching him play, to play my own instrument! He's still wicked on the axe!✊, geez gonna watch again to see it.
How the hell is Jake E Lee playing a venue that cover bands play in?
Also everyone’s trashing the band but the drummer and bass player were doing just fine.
Um the drummer is dragging assss
The drummer is terrible. Drags the tempo and missed bears all over the place. Terrible.
@@downboys missing bears? Fuck.
@@DaveyMulholland - good job on catching and pointing out that typo from a year ago. You must feel much better about yourself now.
@@downboys pretty good, aye. Cheers!
I tend to judge other guitar players on their bark at the moon
