@@Swan.princess It was a good school, but the others in my class were just bullies. You can't really control who the other classmates are. Plus one of the professors was rather outdated in her make-up views, so she didn't allow for a lot of leeway.

I also have hooded eyes and this technique was VERY helpful, but honestly, if you don't want your eyeshadow to crease you shouldn't use concealer! Concealer is meant to be used under the eyes and it has oils and moisturizers in it since the undereye skin is so dry and thin, and the oils in the makeup will cause the eyeshadow to crease! Use an eyeshadow primer and that'll prevent any creasing, especially in hooded eyes.

Concealer is not meant to be used for just under the eyes lol what. It is for covering blemishes too.

I've done this look accidentally and I was even disappointed at the end because it made the eyeliner I've tried so hard to balance, disappear. But then I looked in the mirror and was amazed how it made my eyes bigger, sharper and lifted. Started then that was my go to makeup! And what I also love about it is, it looks neutral so it's not that looking extra when done 😅😂
Ps: I also have this kind of hooded eyes that EATS UP all the eyeshadow when staring straight, lmao 😂
You videos always teach us something. There's a lot of videos on hooded eyes but very few on deep set eyes which have a whole different set of issues. I'm hoping you might consider doing a tutrorial for deep set eyes. Thank you!
The concealer from eyebrow to eyelash is a great trick that I haven’t tried. I tend to use MAC paint pot in soft ochre but I am not careful to really cover the entire space as one and then set it. I’ll give that a try.

I've just tried this and it's brilliant and it's my first time ever being able to do a winged liner with eyeshadow that looks GREAT!!
Its amazing how theres so many eyeliner tutorials...collections upon collections since youtube became a thing and very VERY few of those tutorials are as good as this one for hooded eyes. thank you!

This whole time I never realised my eyes were hooded? I have super big round eyes with big puffy lids and just assumed that bc I could see my lid and they’re not overhanging that they weren’t hooded but I saw someone on a UA-cam short do a hooded eye tutorial and realised her lid shape was the same as mine and now it all makes sense 😭 my winged eyeliner always looks good with my eyes closed but open it looks like a strange hook 🪝 😭😭😭 so excited to know it wasn’t my skill that was the problem but my shape !! gonna try these techniques from now on

It it absolutely annoying to me when charts show hooded eyes, closed set eyes, far set eyes as eye *shapes* .! They're not shapes, they're features. Almond eye could still be close set or hooded so.. idk I'm being a karen but its nice to finally hear someone say this & thank you for sharing your skills!
