    Up until 33:30 I thought you were just letting nuts and bolts hit the ground lol. Super impressive know-how dude. I have about 50ish hours on a 250fx and It's starting to do the backfire fart pop thing after the engines warmed up and trying to start again. LoL, Thanks! Yeah them egg corns dropping on the roof are crazy. The backfire fart pipe and such may be more of a fuel thing then a valve thing. Running lean causes the pops and fart sounds. Wouldnt hurt to check the fuel pump while your checking the valves. You could have a pump starting to act up or get tired.

    Great video. I find your repair methods very practical. Lots of people want to push cutting valve seats at 30 hrs. I see some interesting changes from the 20-21 CRF250R engine design. The intake cam on the 20-21 has the cam gear bolted on which makes install much easier. Also noticed the OE piston pin did not appear to be DLC coated. They were on the 20-21 engine. I think they took a step back. Sure the single exhaust is simpler, but the two exhaust port design had more potential for builders/tuners.

    Do you happen to know what might be wrong with my 2023 crf250r if the estart works and everything when cold but bike just won’t start unless I bump start it? Then once bike is warm estart mostly works. Do you maybe know the issue(s)?

    • @UpAllNight91
      @UpAllNight91  Місяць тому

      Hello. If when cold it cranks over but fails to start unless its push started. But once hot it will start for the most part by just hitting the button. Thats most likely worn out intake valves from too much dirt getting past the air filter. What I would do is remove the valve cover and check the valve clearance on the intake valves. If they are so tight that you cant even slide the smallest feelers gauge in then it will surely need new intake valves. You could adjust them to get it to start up and run as usual but the problem will come back within just a few hours. because once the valves sealing seat is worn they will just keep wearing out progressively and will keep tightening up the valve clearance till it doesn't start when cold again unless push started. So new OEM intake valves will be the fix if you find your current ones tight.

    lets use a wisco piston because its much cheaper than the forged honda piston.mated to the expansion rate of the nikasil plated stock handa cylinder. yep this is a true forged piston that the honda cylinder is not designed to expand as much as the new forged wiseco piston will ..so we are taking a chance to lock up the engine for a piston not made to work in place of the alloy forged piston from honda.and by the , after all its not ours ..hehe

      I have put in over 1000 wiseco pistons in various bikes. I havent had any issue. It might not be my bike but these are my friends and I ride with them.

    Great video thanks. I am on my war to buy the 2025, but it will arrive in 3 Werkstatt earliest. Can you tell me the thread size of the oil drain plug 90084K95AA0 please? I want to buy an magnetic one upfront.

      Hello. I'm sorry but I dont have that bike here currently so I wont be able to check the thread size. Whatever drain plug you use be sure to check that it doesnt go in the motor too far and come in contact with anything in there.
