I think output anywhere between 33-67 watts is more than sufficient. But Super fast charging like 120w or above must be used occasionally or in rare cases.
I use xiaomi's 120W charger. Though usually I charge with a 10W charger, sometimes when I need fast charging I use the 120W charger, also we can limit charging speed by using a cable rated for slower charging. The charger also proved to be helpful for charging my laptop, also it helped that it came in the box. So, I am happy with this charger, but I also think anything more would be unnecessary.
I guess the point which you mentioned that not everybody lives in AC house is absolutely correct as student I live in a rented room, and my phone during summer months gets so heated during charging that I literally feel like it's going to blow up. I have to put it in charging during early morning so that it doesn't heat up much. Also using phone during charging becomes really an issue if it starts to heat
Anything over a limit is poisonous.. and as you aptly said every brand should keep a benchmark limit between 33-67W(which are regular charging speeds at the moment) and should workout on a technology which helps the batteries last a bit more per charge 👍
Also, I saw a video which said that for fast charging you need the necessary capacitors and components inside the phone for fast charging, more wattage means larger the size of those components. If the size of these components increases that means you have to compromise with size of battery. Thats why generally phones with 120w charging come with like 4000mah battery or they have to be big in size. Also another point, just like fast charging, companies have gone overboard with camera setup. The 2mp macro and 2mp depth are absolutely useless and are present as a gimmick nothing else, honestly they aren't needed they just burden the setup. For ex. Instead of 64+5+2+2mp camera setup the company could give 64+12mp camera setup instead it would be useful. Companies should stop going overboard with these gimmicks

My realme GT 2 comes with an 80-watt charger. No doubt it works great but the battery backup becomes lower that the regular charger. Let me be specific, If I charge my phone with the 80 W charger, I get a screen-on time of about 5:30 hrs, but when I use my old redmi 20 watt charger, the screen time surpasses 7 hours. Thats a huge difference! Also, I do charge my phone only at night. So fast charge doesn't make any sense to me. It does irritate the battery.

Fast charger is very useful thing specially when you run out of time. It's also very useful in remote or vilage areas where light often goes quickly. But still it's not necessary to charge on such high speed. I think 45-60W is the sufficient.
The charger by default should charge at something like 24-30W. And on connecting should give an option to fast charge. If we want faster we can select otherwise normal charging will keep the battery safe and healthy for longer.

What you say in this video is absolutely correct , it's a gimmick In my opinion apple do need to step up in charging department, I feel phone should be charged in an hour or so by doing that it will be balanced. By the way difference between 25W charger and 45W charger is minimal according to different UA-cam videos that I watched. If your phone is charging in an hour and have a SOT of around 7‐8 hours in normal usage then I don't think anyone would mind that in contrast to a fast charge in less than 30 minutes and a SOT of 4‐5 hours. I would prefer a SOT of 7‐8 hours. And really one should understand that health is more important than anything and addiction to phone is the worst for your health nowadays. And one should take a 10 to 15 mins break if you are using your phone for more than an hour. Nice video 👌
As per my opinion and experience, 44W charger is more than enough for now as it won't cause much damage to the battery in the long run and it is safe also. Brands are just increasing wattage to attract users but the dark reality is that they are doing so only to reduce the life cycle of batteries. It has now become a dirty marketing strategy.
@@yashwantkaki5072but......you don't have to use the fast charging brick with the phone. For nearly 3 years , I charge all my phones with slow 5 and 10 watts chargers and their battery lives are still the same. I was thinking that this video was going to criticise fast charging outright. However it was a very balanced take. I have gotten spoilt by the 65W fast charge on realme 7 pro makes my iPhone 11 Pro Max charging seem incredibly slow(I’ve kept the optimised charging on). However I do not let the battery fall below 20% and go above 90% unless I know it’s going to be a long day. The code for VOOC is interesting, it can be found on oppo-source public GIT repo. But prolonged usage has made me realise that 33W is probably the best charging number. Anything around that is perfect obviously provided the standby and SOT on your phone is good(as per your needs) . Otherwise the charging experience cannot cover a badly optimised phone.
I think as a college student I spend a lot of time in phone so anything less than 33watts is kind of slow but more than 33watts is too fast like we need some time without the phone too so having it for charge for few mins or 1-2 hours shall be fine as long as the battery capacity is good
65 Watts Charger Is Enough......I don't think that anyone needs more than it.....If I share my personal Opinion....I also fell for fast charging in past.....but when I bought a phone....it has 33 watt fast charging and now I think that it is more than Enough....I takes about 45 minutes to charge completely and those 45 minutes runs out too fast that I won't feel that I have a slow Charging phone or something.....In emergency in 20 to 30 minutes...it charges enough so that I can survive....As it has 5000Mah battery so it provides a very good backup...
I think the i phone’s 13 n 14 charging speed and battery backup combination is enough for most people 100-150w charging speeds are just being used as a marketing term by the brands
Fast chargers dena to chahiye but disable karne ka option dena chahiye. Normal usage me 30-35 watt pe charge karo aur emergencies me, full power pe charge karo. Hospital me ho, waha pe phone ko guard karne ka time nahi hota. Kahi travel kar rahe ho waha pe nahi hota. To option accha hai 4-5 minute me full charge agar regularly use na karo to.
I think wattage limit should be between 30 to 50. If a 5000 mah battery gets charged within 45 to 60 minutes I won't mind. I think it is fine and good for battery longevity.
My samsung phone supports 25w charging which I enable may be weekly once to twice that's it. I have enabled 85% limit n switch on as soon I get up n by the time I leave phone is up to 85% that's suffices my entire day work. A standard battery lasts an average of 2000 battery cycles enough for 2-3 years, 1 battery cycle= one full charge (0-100%). But these fast chargers have made battery life by 1/4. These fast charging battery lives are only around 500 battery cycles, which means they would only last for about only 1 and a half year or so. Just imagine.
@@Proooooooyytrtgbh2479 if it is a good and branded cable and not a local one, you can always go for it. But it is always preferred to use the inbox charger, be it adapter or cable.
I think a 65W charger should be the limit of the charging speed . After that it feels like a gimmick . Why the hell do you want your phone to always keep on working ? I think a 65W charger would take around 30-40 mins to charge a phone to 100% and obviously very few people do drain their battery to 0% . So it should take hardly 20-25 mins to charge a phone to good level .
There's also a 6th point which is very important. Higher the Wattage of a charger, higher consumption of electricity. Which means higher electricity bills.

While I agree with most of the things you said, mujhe nhi lagta, fast charging se battery cycle consumption pe farak padhta hai. Agar apka phone fully optimised hai, fir each cycle of charging should last the same amount of time. Agar apka phone 100% charge khatam karne me 24hrs lagata hai, then you will consume 1 cycle every 24hrs. How fast that charging is happening doesn't matter(as long as battery temperature is maintained properly).
I believe some brands give fast chargers so that people use their phones for a very long time per day. This will eventually harm the user, but as companies want to increase usage timing on their apps so that makes sense. If people leave their phone for less time for charging, they will end up using their phone more.
one more thing which people needs to understand is battery doesn't like to be discharged to 0% and charged to 100%. The sweet spot is 20-80/85%. And you can charge multiple times during this bracket and your battery health won't be impacted that much.
If your phone supports charging limiter then setting it to 80% can be a good idea. It not only helps in extending battery life but also makes even 20w chargers feel fast enough since charging speed drops around that mark.
Main 25 watt ka charger use karta hu .. s23 ultra main .. past main mere pass OnePlus thaa 80watt ka charger thaa. Sirf ek saal main battery week ho gyi or phone change karna pada ... 25 watt sahi hai
The most efficient way of managing the fast charging would be Manufacturers giving the authority to the consumers All phone companies should have 3 options in their battery section in the settings 1) slow charging (5/10 watts) for someone who wanna charge overnight and there is no hurry of charging the phone and there is plenty of time to charge the phone say 5-6 hours 2)Moderate charging (25-35) watts Where the consumer has say time like 2-3 hours and don't wanna charge it superfast 3) Superfast charging ( here phone will be charged at the maximum rating available) This will be useful for persons who are in a hurry and wanna quickly chargeup their phone Consumer can choose between any accordingly. I feel this should be done Apart from that all the manufacturers should mention the battery health in the settings not in the terms for Good, bad etc But on the terms of percentage %
Not providing chargers inside the box also needs to be stopped 💀

Which phone
Which phone. You need to change the phone/charger perhaps
Absolutely agreed. 20 or 30 min are enough and good for charging.
Fast charger might affect the battery life 🤔
It already does just you don't know normal to like 30 to
Anything over a limit is poisonous.. and as you aptly said every brand should keep a benchmark limit between 33-67W(which are regular charging speeds at the moment) and should workout on a technology which helps the batteries last a bit more per charge 👍
Or maybe a 12 mp telephoto.. that's barely available in even a 40k phones
I think samsung good in this....cause above 25k they mostly give you a primary lens and a 14l3mp ultrawide...and 5 +5 macro and depth whereas other brands in 40k range the give 2mp macro and depth

Samsung gives this option if u want to fast charge or not...

What you say in this video is absolutely correct , it's a gimmick
In my opinion apple do need to step up in charging department, I feel phone should be charged in an hour or so by doing that it will be balanced.
And people say their phone lasts a day
Their must be a gimmick
As per my opinion and experience, 44W charger is more than enough for now as it won't cause much damage to the battery in the long run and it is safe also. Brands are just increasing wattage to attract users but the dark reality is that they are doing so only to reduce the life cycle of batteries. It has now become a dirty marketing strategy.
I agree with this
@@yashwantkaki5072but......you don't have to use the fast charging brick with the phone. For nearly 3 years , I charge all my phones with slow 5 and 10 watts chargers and their battery lives are still the same. I still use 10w charger, where my phone takes 2 and half to 3 hours to fully charge and I've got nothing problem with it and my phone is about 2 and half years old still my battery lasts long for 8 hours while net surfing (no gaming).I think about 10-20% of my battery performance has been degraded while compared to initial days of my phone 😀
Depends on the device 15000 are balanced
I have a Sunkissed leather edition, and it's working superb real me 7 pro ia best at that time now 4th year going on & my battery is also working fine
For me 33 w is perfect
Loved using it ❤️😗
I think as a college student I spend a lot of time in phone so anything less than 33watts is kind of slow but more than 33watts is too fast like we need some time without the phone too so having it for charge for few mins or 1-2 hours shall be fine as long as the battery capacity is good
65 Watts Charger Is Enough......I don't think that anyone needs more than it.....If I share my personal Opinion....I also fell for fast charging in past.....but when I bought a phone....it has 33 watt fast charging and now I think that it is more than Enough....I takes about 45 minutes to charge completely and those 45 minutes runs out too fast that I won't feel that I have a slow Charging phone or something.....In emergency in 20 to 30 minutes...it charges enough so that I can survive....As it has 5000Mah battery so it provides a very good backup...

Fast chargers dena to chahiye but disable karne ka option dena chahiye. Normal usage me 30-35 watt pe charge karo aur emergencies me, full power pe charge karo. Hospital me ho, waha pe phone ko guard karne ka time nahi hota. Kahi travel kar rahe ho waha pe nahi hota. To option accha hai 4-5 minute me full charge agar regularly use na karo to.
There should be limit of fast charging as per battery size capacity.
I think wattage limit should be between 30 to 50. If a 5000 mah battery gets charged within 45 to 60 minutes I won't mind. I think it is fine and good for battery longevity.

50 to 60 watt charger is more than enough!!
Those points are so practical 👍
I think a 65W charger should be the limit of the charging speed . After that it feels like a gimmick . Why the hell do you want your phone to always keep on working ? I think a 65W charger would take around 30-40 mins to charge a phone to 100% and obviously very few people do drain their battery to 0% . So it should take hardly 20-25 mins to charge a phone to good level .
There's also a 6th point which is very important. Higher the Wattage of a charger, higher consumption of electricity. Which means higher electricity bills.

Even though my phone supports fast charging, I always charge it overnight. Every phone has this "Optimised Night Charging" feature, which charges the phone slowly in the night so that the battery life doesn't deteriorate fast. I feel everyone should use this feature if you want your battery to stay healthy for longer.

@@Proooooooyytrtgbh2479 Yes almost all phones launched in the last 2-3 years have it. Check in your Battery settings. It just might have a different name.
I use it from beginning
1 time charging in afternoon/evening and one in night

If your phone supports charging limiter then setting it to 80% can be a good idea. It not only helps in extending battery life but also makes even 20w chargers feel fast enough since charging speed drops around that mark.

The most efficient way of managing the fast charging would be Manufacturers giving the authority to the consumers
All phone companies should have 3 options in their battery section in the settings
1) slow charging (5/10 watts) for someone who wanna charge overnight and there is no hurry of charging the phone and there is plenty of time to charge the phone say 5-6 hours
2)Moderate charging (25-35) watts
Where the consumer has say time like 2-3 hours and don't wanna charge it superfast
3) Superfast charging ( here phone will be charged at the maximum rating available)
This will be useful for persons who are in a hurry and wanna quickly chargeup their phone
Consumer can choose between any accordingly.
I feel this should be done
Apart from that all the manufacturers should mention the battery health in the settings not in the terms for Good, bad etc
But on the terms of percentage %
