That particular test with images was clever. It managed to show that good software can still give a decent experience even if not as good as good hardware. Although yes good storage speed is utmost necessary after cpu.

I am watching this on my moto g52 and honestly in normal usage it doesn't feel that much of a difference unless when you start multitasking by opening a lot of apps it's just a second or two delay but i would still recommend a Motorola phone to anyone because in this price segment of 10k to 15k Motorola phones have the best battery life and a good clean ui which also feels fast and the battery life is excellent compared to my previous redmi note 10 because a lot of other Chinese companies fill their phones with a lot of bloatwares and ads.

One More Thing: Transfer speed b/w Mobile and PC depends on USB Version of the phone. IQOO 11 has UFS 4.0 but has USB 2.0 C Port that bottlenecks the transfer process.

One reason for 5:20 is there is a toggle for processing speed in S22 ultra in notification , by default it is at balanced it limits data speeds so put in max and see changes.😄

Hello sir you also should have covered that now phones are using a part of the storage as Ram.
storage R/W test should have been done to show the speed differences.
Non techie consumers don't understand that storage speed affects everything on your phone & is the biggest factor apart from cpu class.
I was surprised that a video about storage doesn't quantity the differences.

S22 ultra is not only slow because of your files, it is also slow because solid slate storage degrades as you use it. My Oneplus 6 is now very laggy, even if I do a complete reset even tho the SoC is good and I have 8gb of ram, it's because I used it very heavily in the time it was with me, which has degraded the UFS storage to a significant degree. Here your S22 ultra is slow possibly not because it has a lot of files but because over time the storage has worn out a little.

You forgot to mention how transferring files from pc to phone will be affected by the usb interface, if the phone has usb 2.0 then it doesn't matter what storage you have, the transfer would be slow, whereas in many flagships and samsung phones, there is usb 3.1 which gives transfer of 10gbps, samsung gives usb 3.1 2x2 will give transfer upto 20gbps. You can also pass through display signals through usb 3.1. iphones still use usb 2 in their phones, hence you cannot transfer fast

In order to see perview of images (thumbnails) new devices collect data of that photo in a seprate file thats why iqoo11 was slow in loading thumbnails whereas s22 and even moto was excellent and good respectively as those devices had been used many times
