you dont need to wipe off stickiness if you're putting top coat on top of it. infact you're better off leaving it sticky, so that it does, you know, stick to the top coat.
always wipe off before top coat. the inhibition layer actually can contaminate the top coat and make it less shiny and even sticky. you do not need to leave the inhibition layer for the top coat to stick
You should wipe the inhibition layer before top coat, especially if using different brand color and top, the sticky layer is uncured gel and the formulas might react weird if mixed while wet.
I’ve made the mistake of leaving sticky layer before and that resulted in creating bubbles especially if using different brands. Imo it’s better to wipe off the sticky layer before top coat💕

Im new to this. Ive heard elastic base works better and doesnt peel as easily as rubber. Id like to know if you can use a rubber on top of elastic?? I feel like thats a stupid question. Someone plz help this noob lol
From what I've read people say to use elastic base under acrylics/extensions,etc... since it had higher adhesion than the normal rubber base. They're both rubber base, the elastic one has more flexibility, not as thick. If you're looking for building nail structure and don't have issues with adhesion, I'd go with the normal rubber base. I've been using rubber base for months now and it's never peel on me unless I applied it incorrectly 😅

Gurl, sooo many of the same questions I have! I use rubber base on my natural nails but like to change colors but don't want to mess up my rubber base.
I do know you can add RBG to your natural nails, buff the top coat and go in with your dip liquids and powder. I’ve seen the girly pops do RBG then add peel off base then dips or whatever else on top
@@channeltabor9048 but wouldn’t the Peel Off Base have to be applied first to peel off everything on top for each manicure? The correct order would be: 1. Peel Off Base 2. Rubber Base Gel 3. Gel Polish/ Dip Powder Application 4. Top Coat Right?
@@BeYoutifulBombshell I’m not a tech so this explanation is from experience and research. Please do what works best for you.
