    Val, just eaten this after allowing it to hang in the sun. Smoked it with coconut husks and boy, did it blow my mind!!!     Madam,
    Thank you for the detailed video. If jar is kept in the sun, should I keep without lid for 3 days. How many months it will last in the jar.
    Second question, how do I store the sausage sun dried in cling film. Does it need to be refrigerated

    Thank you for the recipe I shall try them too as I have tried other recipes too... now we shall have little sun in London so hopefully I can try it for smoking them I shall use the Indian style of coal and ghee option after the fridge marination of 2 days and the store them in the jar... thank you once again.

    All so good 🙏👍 one doubt with cling film being plastic is it advisable to leave in hot sun n also is it advisable to smoke?

      Thank you for watching.. yes it's ok to sun dry Sausages in Cling fling. I did it myself which I showed on video. N yes it is advisable to smoke too as the smoky flavor is just the smoke.
      Or if you don't want this way than put the meat in clean sterilized glass bottle.

      Wow excellent presentation in detail. Love you love your sausages. One doubt how to cook if you use cling? It is not edible film? Risky un like the casings which are edible and non carcinogenic???

      Take it out from Cling fling and than cook. It's only if sausage case is not available.

    Unfortunately we don’t get the vinegar available in Goa. I may use some good Vodka?
    I wish I could send you some gloves that you can use to marinade the meat.

      If you have coals than
      Take it a a vessel burn the coals on the gas and put little oil or ghee
      And than give the smoke to Sausages

      Goan Sausages sold in Mapusa with Locals, yes they sell with Saugage casing. N some eat it with casing and some don't eat it with casing

    Also. Just for info. I am drying thick husk of a fruit called Mangosteen. I hope to use this for smoking. Don't know if it will impart any flavor.

    Interesting video :) Please explain how the meat can dry if it is enclosed in cling film?
    Cling film does not let water or air pass through?
    Also pl give quantities of spices in grams of Powder - Instead of, 5 inches/ 30 chillies/ peppercorns/ cloves...

    It's quite interesting to know how to make the sausages. Yes you need a lot of patience . But if you are in the UK its difficult to keep in the sun . We Don't get good sunlight like India 😕

      Thank you so much for watching the video and process. Taste is very good and drying during winter whenever you get Sun is best.
      As i also tried and made it in Bangalore where in winter no Sun only and yet it was very very tasty.
      If you don't want to dry it in Sun than other option is put it in a clean dry Glass bottle and store it in fridge.

      Thank you so much 💓. You can keep it in Sun dried in a Glass Jar with closed lid day time and night time pls keep it in Refrigerator. And if where you live is cool area than you can keep outside too
      But today's world best is to preserve it in refrigerator.

      @Chriselda Pinto after drying process in day time then evening hang or in bottle keep it inside your house in cool place.
      Than once 3 days process is over pls 🙏 keep the bottle and store it in Fridge.
      Whenever using the meat make sure you use dry and clean spoon. And cover the bottle tightly.

      I would say when one wants to cook it that time take out the meat from Cling fling and cook it as per your desire.
      I m sure many many Don't cook Sausages which is also in Sausages case.
      One cut it and than cook the meat right?

    Appreciate your hardwork but when do u put in sun before keeping in the fridge or after getting out of the fridge and the process of sun is not understood, when to dry? ( I am asking bec in between ur recipes process was not linking dear. )Rest everything is understood till the last process is completed and hanged for drying.

      If you are putting the meat in sausage case than Just dry it sun dry for maximum days.
      If in bottle then keep day time in Sun and evening keep the bottle in fridge.

    There is the reason why sausages were filled in guts from ancient times. The guts are porous and they ooze out all the moisture. Not too difficult to fill in guts if you use the right type of sausage filling funnel and a little bit of technique.

    I didn't like the idea you put the meat in plastic,and how we fry the sausages along with the plastic? The video is too lengthy and explanation is not good it would be better in konkani

      Thank you so much 💓. While cooking it one has to remove the meat masala from cling fling and prepare it. I have more videos how to cook it too.
      Idea of Cling fling is because Sausage case was not available. Not every place it's available. So some people don't try to make Sausages. Also the other option is there don't use Cling fling and can store it in glass bottle too.

    Val I think if you are putting a video on you tube you should atleast use gloves & mix the meat . Also use better utensils . It looks bad

      Thank you so much..... but I want to keep all natural. And My Vessels are Old but I have some attachments to it and Love it. About wearing Glaws and all, I don't like to wear as it's slips from hand. And This is homecooking and it's good to keep it natural. We Goans never use Or wear gloves in our day to day cooking than why I will wear and show of here.
