Part of the huge pool of talent in country music in the 90s. Maybe the best decade ever for country, including Ms. Patty Loveless.
Blackhawk was another very good band back then. Patty Lovelace is still incredible.
Love this group, the video to this song was great too. The lead singer, did a solo album many yeaers ago, that had a song called, “she misses him” that was about a older couple, and the husband had alzhimers. Around this time, my grandpas had just passed from brain cancer, and she loved this song, and i got a radio station to record me a copy of it to give to my grandma. Now many years ago, my 72 yearold dad passed away in 21 from Alzhimers, and i would have never thought of it happening. And my mom misses him so much, they where less than a month from being married 50 years.
Great live video, but I highly recommend the official music video.
Their PDC was Brady Seals. But, he left the group to go solo back in 2003 or 04.
You should check Tim Rushlow out in his new band The Frontmen along with lead singers from Lonestar and Restless Heart. They have a song called If it wasn't for the radio to check out

Their song 'My Love' is a great song the other singer sang. It's my favorite. My band played it when it was new, and I still sing it solo nowadays.

AHHhhhh... "What Might've Been" by Little Texas... first off, THANK YOU for doin' THIS PARTICULAR TRACK!!!! Yes... such a SIMPLE song... no flash, no fluff, & ABSOLUTELY NO crazy lead guitar work OR instrumentals, BUT... & hear me out... the simplicity of the song structure OUTRIGHT SELLS this song as a country ballad!!!! Just sing with 3 part harmonies & don't do ANYTHING over the top!!! In other words, STAY IN THE POCKET of the song. AND, for that FACT, they are regarded as the ABSOLUTE BEST when it comes to writing meaningful songs that don't rely on flashy guitar work, a MONSTER drummer, or a "full of fluff" singer/front man. Check out Little Texas' catalog of songs (they only released 3 - 4 Albums, IF I'm not mistaken...). You won't regret it!!! Truly a country music genre's pick for the COUNTRY NEW ARTISTS AWARD (even though they were around since the 2000's). LOL!!!! Peace, Love, & Liberty. MIC DROP 🎤.
Little texas performed in my tiny town a few years ago and the lead singer gave me the guitar pick he was using. I still have that pick.

Singer Tim Rushlow has a solo album and a song you must check out called She Misses Him. It's about Nancy and Ronald Reagan when he was slipping away and didn't remember her anymore because his mind was slipping away

That riff that they kicked off on the guitar during the introductions was a classic. Reminded me of "Black Velvet". This sounds like a heavy metal ballad, except with better harmonies.

One of my favorites back in the 90's
I saw them in concert 30 years ago. Tim McGraw opened and it was clear he wouldn’t be an opening act much longer. He stole the show.
I saw them probably around the same time. They were on a co-headlining tour with Tim McGraw, so in some cities Tim McGraw would go first, and in some cities Little Texas would go first. BlackHawk was the opening act before LT and TM when I saw them in Amarillo. It was around 1994.
@@randall-king this was in Bangor, Maine. It was TM, Blackhawk, then LT.
I saw them all in Tulsa in May 1995. The opener was supposed to be Blackhawk, but they had to cancel because of a tornado in Nashville. Then it was Little Texas. And the closer was Tim McGraw.

I'll second on watching the official video that starts with a child finding a photo of his great grandfather during WW2 with a woman and asks who she is.
They we all male..I saw them live back then and they were unreal...if you like this Check out anything by the group Restless Heart "I'll Still Be Loving You" or "Fast Moving Train" those are a couple of their bigger hits..very similar type of music but better, IMHO.
They girls were just yelling for the guys. Their song god bless Texas is a good one.

i love your reactions, but you HAVE to stop with the dang live crap....very very few artists can sing the same as they do in the studio...most studio version are so much better....keeps me from watching so much of your reactions
Yeah I love her reacting and is sooo dang funny. But way too many live versions...plus misses out on some very iconic vids!! imagine her reacting to thriller live?? And saying no to watching one of the greatest vid of all time?? If its a great song I will tune in just to know what it sounds like live. But wish she would do the studio then follow up with a live version if she likes it.. I know its her channel and she wants to have a niche...but not seeing some of the official vids that accompany these songs stinks. But oh well. 🤷♂️ funny thing is one of my fav bands staind alot of their best music is actually live so I would win there !! doing some reverse psych on her but then she would probably do "outside" studio version instead of the live version.. Haha
