you and me both...i cried my eyes out when they broke up... i followed them all over....the most underrated group of all time. that harmony....I'm gonna cry now
I will say this... after my divorce after 9 years , I met a beautiful woman and dated her for a few years, but , didn't really fall apart, I needed to find myself again and take care of myself before I can take care of someone else... we always stayed in touch, this was a song I sent her ! So for me what might have been has become the opposite, we have been married for 7 years now with my awsome son ! Nothing is lost or forgotten, we just move forward the best we can ! Thank you little Texas!
Arguably Little Texas’s most memorable song. This is where my ex and I are right now. We can’t go back, and there’s no point in wondering what might have been. 😔
to think I grew up with Tim and Little Texas in the 90's on CMT when cable tv started here in the UK. All these songs bring it all back. And the newer artists I'm discovering! @@CashCreekCountryTV
To all the younger men, woman listening to this song you cant go back to then but you can reach out especially if as mine life has had a major change remember its never to late until its to late..just having this great artist come back into my life this way has been a healing back again❤
Damn, Tim !! Still sing as good as ever. As a former Drummer/Singer for 40 years for country rock bands here in N.C. this song and " God bless Texas " are near and dear to my heart as I used to sing them regularly. Unfortunately had to give up music because of a stroke. You guys sound GREAT !! keep up the great work !! God Bless you all !!
To me, this beautiful song has a different meaning, nothing to do with personal relationships. It's the song that has been playing through my head day and night since I lost my entire wonderful career as an entertainer to the COV*D curse.
This song popped up on my rotation on my dad's birthday. Tim and Little Texas played at my dad's club (Murphy's) shortly after wrapping up their first album I think. Great song! Brings back a lot of good memories.
This version with this band is better than the radio version that was recorded in the 90’s. Tim Rushlow has a great voice. No auto tune here. Just great musicians who can sing
The guitarist on Tim's left is Kimo Forrest. Cash Creek is Monty DeVita on bass/vocals, Kimo Forrest on guitar/vocals and James Blaylock on drums. Megan Mullins Owen plays fiddle and Jason Roller often sits in with them. Jason, Kimo and Megan all tour with Alabama.
Pretty sure Tim is the actual singer but Im Just curious is this the actual Little Texas band? Also this is probably the best ive ever heard this song live my god so good...Bummed I never got to meet you Tim this is one of my all time favorite songs.
Hello there! Yes, Tim was and is the actual singer of the original song. Cash Creek is the name of the band. We host a monthly show in Nashville called “The Cash Creek Club Live!”, where we feature up and coming artists from our label, CCB Nashville, as well as a headliner or two, such as Tim, Wade Hayes, etc. Check out our channel for the complete show featuring Tim. Also, check out our music on Spotify, etc! Thank you for the kind comment
@@CashCreekCountryTV Not sure if you are one of the guys in the band, but all of your vocals are unreal! I'm a musician and was crossing my arms watching your videos 😉 J/K.....OUTSTANDING!!
2024 and this song still pure greatness.
The best country song ever written and recorded.
God i wish Little Texas would get back together in their entirety.
you and me both...i cried my eyes out when they broke up... i followed them all over....the most underrated group of all time. that harmony....I'm gonna cry now
As do I but then again the sound of it was that they wanted to focus on life that nothing new.

Wow! His voice is still absolutely amazing. One of my favorite 90s country songs ever.
One of the best songs ever written.
We agree 110%
How can my mind not drift back in time and wonder “what might have been”, oh those memories!!!
Same…
Ditto
My life, my struggle. Made mistakes, I wish every day since 1982 i could take back. Forever love G.S.
Arguably Little Texas’s most memorable song. This is where my ex and I are right now. We can’t go back, and there’s no point in wondering what might have been. 😔
Tim still sounds great just wish they would do a reunion tour with little texas
They are coming to VA in 2 weeks
@@Dguess35I’m from VA but haven’t lived there since I was 18. I live in Vegas now but I sure do miss home.

Such a beautiful song. My husband passed away in 2019 and boy did it give this song new meaning.
@ginarichards6307: I'm so sorry for your loss. 😪

Someone who can actually still sing his songs from the 90’s amazing. I think this was better than the original
Tim Rushlowe was the lead singer for Little Texas.
Tim's vocals didn't changed after all this time. It's still the same as it was his Little Texas days. ❤
Saw Little Texas, Tim McGraw, Blackhawk together on single tour back 93/94
What might have been would be Total LOVE tol God call's us home 🏠
Instantly takes me back
I was 11 when this song first came out. I am 40 now, still can never forget it. After many relationships it has a much deeper meaning…
The years have been kind to him.
Songs brings me to tears every time I hear it. Beautiful!!!
I absolutely am still obsessed with this song! Tim sounds incredible!!
After so many years this is still the song i always go back to and love! Thank you!

Truly love this song true meaning of life
Oh the memories.. and they sound so great
Very nice gentlemen. Great cover of a powerful ballad about not seizing the moment.
Cover? He sang the original with Little Texas
1 year and a half later after the break up it hurts like it was yesterday

This song always grips my heart unlike any other. The pain and longing is palpable.

Magical song. Thanks

Wicked ! wow
Good song. Well done
I wish you would have been in Sulphur last night with the rest of the band ♥️
Everybody sounds great!!
Time goes by extremely fast
Who is the guitar to the left of Tim in this video? His vocals and harmonizing are unbelievable. Amazing.
As a former drummer... I gotta a kick out of the drummer coming in to early at the beginning lol.... they were all smiling/laughing.
He was ready to go! 🤣🤣🤣
@CashCreekTV I've been there lol... it still sounded ok.
Drummers don't get any breaks! 🤣🤣🤣
