- As winter well and truly sets in, opportunities to fish Melbournes Port Phillip Bay do become a little more sparse; however in between patches of rough weather the fishing can be absolutely red hot! I patiently wait for a calm evening after a big south westerly blow up and it sure did pay off
Very good brother👍🏻love snapper fishing🎣
Cheers man 😊 thanks heaps for watching!
That's a mad session! A worthy tribute to your great grandfather 🐟
Cheers Andrew 😊 I’m sure he’s up there happy with that session. Thanks heaps for tuning in

A fun time!
Definitely worth braving the cold for. Thanks heaps for watching 😊
Nice session mate and nice tribute. What type of Kayak are you running and why paddle and not pedal? Do you target a certain depth there?
Cheers mate! I’m running a jet ocean kayak. Only got that particular paddle kayak because it’s heaps cheaper than a pedal one. I picked that up brand new for 450 cash. I wasn’t willing to pay a couple of grand on a new hobie kayak or take the risk of buying someone’s second hand one which can sometimes come with problems.
Depth doesn’t pay too much of a roll when you’re fishing in black rock I find. Sure you want to be fishing between 3-8m of water but you gotta target the reefs because that’s where the majority of the fish will be hanging around looking for a feed. Cheers for watching!
Ripping session!
Cheers Anthony! Always great when a plan comes together
@@TommyTimeFishing 95% of the time I fly fish so watch a heap of that. But really enjoy the diversity in the stuff you put out. Just honest sessions, great to watch!
@@anthonyclark6118 thanks heaps for the feedback. The diversity in fishing, not just the methods of fishing but also the multitude of species you can target is what makes this sport so great. Always a learning experience every time you go out and that’s what keep me coming back, as well as the places it takes you too
Some great fish there my friend, nice one
Cheers Craig! Thanks heaps for watching
