I am glad you found this group. This parody is just crazy good !!!! A lot of throwbacks to older American music styles. I am fairly sure the girl in the car is the drummer.
I saw them for the first time here in Japan this summer; I don't imagine anyone sitting through their concert. It was the wildest mosh pit I've ever been in. Absolute banger of a performance.
The fretboard looks a lot happier and even minus the low E the lower mids sound chunkier. Nut breakages are more common when folk up their string gauges and don't file/widen the slots accordingly, but the plastic can also atrophy over time, with the outer sides of the low or high E being the most common places to break. There was probably a hairline weakening that cracked from all the extra playing after the restring & general tlc.
Cheap fix, don't worry. Let a qualified tech repair it if you are unfamiliar with doing a new setup. Good time to replace the strings also. M.T.H. always bring it.
