"The journey from extraction to pump is truly an incredible one! From crude oil extraction, refining at plants to global distribution, each step requires precision and cutting-edge technology. A clear demonstration of the perfect coordination of science, engineering and logistics!"
The drilling bits only use a potion of the drill string weight usually from 40,000lb to just a bit over that weight because if more weight is applied to the drill bit it wears out the bit prematurely or another words it burns the bit up from the heat generated from the spinning of the drill string along with weight added so the cutting diamonds are allowed to drill with the drill mud which is pumped from the drill rig at the surface down through the center of the drill string once the drill mud reaches the drill bit the mud which is at a high pressure helps clean the rock the bit grinds up and the ground up rock at that point flows to the surface and cleaned from the drill mud so the drill mud can be used again and again keeping the well bore clean so the bit and drill string doesn't get stuck in the newly drilled well bore.
Minus the part about the ice covered polar regions melting! They have actuall gotten thicker since Al Gore claimed "The NW passage will be "Ice free year around by 2015"...
This video does a fantastic job explaining the entire journey of gasoline, from extraction to our gas pumps! ⛽ #GasolineManufacturing #FuelProcess #EnergyEducation
I was very invested and thought I was learning until he got into the drilling side, which I have a lot of knowledge and experience in, and a lot of the information was wrong, which made me question everything else he told me.
It's to late wanted to work in OFFSHORES FLAT FORM 😅😅 but I'm interested to work as POWER GENERATOR DIESEL ENGINE MECHANIC and Gas turbine generator mechanic

Very detailed and one of the best video to fully understand the extracting cycle of black gold
As an ex-wildcat oil company owner I understand the process but the science of oil production still amazes me.

Engineering is amazing❤

nice production, well done!
Great an accurate very informative video . . . Thanks

Can you elaborate on the environmental impacts of this manufacturing process and possible ways to mitigate them?
90 billion barrels of oil in the artic - while our use is 35 billion? 3 years worth of supply?
My petroleum engineering is in progress this video revised my previous topics and give me very important information through simulation

@ErinHuo-t8b how can I contact you
In which country I have to join you
This is an insightful piece. However, I believe it overlooks the environmental impact of the extraction and refinement process.
Who cares, You wouldn’t be alive without it, know one could survive modern society without it…
Yeah, I learn much more from this video 👽
It’s incredible how much goes into getting gas to the pump - do you think electric vehicles will change this process in the future? ⚡🚗
Thanks

not really, its a massive amount of stolen stock clips, crappy text to speech commentary and stolen video.

so impressive!
Wow so nice
Don't go woke Lord Gizmo!
😂
TOO LATE ANYWAY 🇺🇲🤙🍻
What is "woke" about this?
@@evanwest4751saying anything negative about oil is woke. We couldn’t survive without oil.
@MattG-n2z I never said we didn't need oil. Saying oil doesn't have its negatives is just ignorant, though.
Good video

you can start by explaining to your boss what is 'offshores flat form'
A gas station in the vacuum of "space"?
Very informative. But way too advanced for me as I drifted off
Yea, i will love to yravel to space.
informing
They show a nuclear plant that doesnt even use hydrocarbons
Ohhh GAS STATION in space hmmmp I think so it might be comes thru
When will we get rid of crude oil? Seems, it's not possible in my life.
As the production of 'Crude Oil' is a Natural Process over Millions of Years, it will always be with us.
Not for a very very long time and despite the scaremongers there I no such thing as a shortage for a very very long time.
Naah bro it will never stop
We will never be without crude oil as its essential to life , not just for ICE but for lubricants
They will pump every drop if we will buy it
