This is acutally a very nice video suggesting whether you should get an iPad or not. I have been using the iPad mini for about 4 months now and I kind of agree with you. Only get an iPad if you are completely going to use it as a laptop replacement or integrate it into your work flow. I specifically went for the mini because it was not completely meant to replace my laptop but become my laptops extension as I don't have to carry my heavy laptop to the University. Also the mini is just a perfect size to use it as an external monitor for a camera. Comes in super handy while shooting with big cameras as they don't have very good built in displays. If you are someone who is only thinking of getting an iPad for media consumption, then I would suggest not getting one and I say this because the content just looks bad on iPad. All the iPads have a very tall aspect ratio so even if you are watching content on it, you are only using probably 60% of the entire display because of the black bars. this is something that completely stops me from using my iPad for watching content. Its a way better device to do productive work on it which is I guess what Apple really wants their buyers to do on an iPad anyways.
Yeah exactly!
Nah, I am not reading that

I bought the iPad thinking it'll be a substitute to my windows laptop, i planned to use them in conjunction. Cause of this, i knew exactly what to expect and what not to. I'm happy with my M2 iPad Pro, and don't plan on getting any iPad for the next 5 years atleast lol
Is it worth it to buy it If your primary laptop is a gaming laptop and bulky so it can act as a secondary laptop/Go to solution for admin work or light editing
I have the base ipad from some years. We use it as a media consumption device and since It syncs aross with iCloud, we see all our pictures on the bigger iPad screen. It great for casual gaming too.
is 64gb enough for taking notes and storing pictures
@@ankitjha7620 No, go for the new iPad air 13 inch. It starts at 128 GBs. I purchased the 64 gb 11 inch variant of Air 5, regretted, sold it for a loss and bought the 13 inch. Couldn't be happier. Go for it with eyes closed.
The OLED ipad will be great as a travel entertainment device. Consider other OLED TVs in that price range that don't even reach 1600nits. My C2 is 850nits peak. Its steap but is still going to be the best for portable media consumption.
Yeah true but its out of reach for like 90% people
Did bro compared TV and ipad
From my engineering college I m using iPad air 3 and of course 2nd hand. And it completely resolve my note taking reading assignments and even book reading. I can often use it as my second screen also. Still it’s running smoothly.
do you type your notes with a magic keyboard or write them?
I want to edit video and excel work it’s good for me or buy MacBook
Mac
I am a graphic designer and i can confirm what he's saying makes 100% sense and even more.
The Photoshop and other adobe products are basically crap for ipadOS, there aren't many apps as a replacement of the industry standard apps like Photoshop, illustrator. I have an Ipad Pro M2 but i can't use Blender, Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects etc despite the device having extraordinary amount of processing power. Ipads are just waste of money, there would be no regret to ignore them at least now, hopefully they'd provide us with more apps and software in future.
Been following you since long time friend. I must say you have improved a lot in each and every way. Kudos! And wishing you All the best for future 🎉
Thanks a ton
Great content loving it so much keep up the good work ✨
I sold my 2018 13” iPad Pro and Pencil 2 after collecting dust for years. I reach out iPhone Pro Max all the time amd for office work use iMac. Also sold 2018 MBP for same reason. Leant the hard way from self experience. Also easier to type on iPhone than iPad unless you buy a keyboard

1. Note taking
2.PDF reading
3.Multimeadia consumption
4.Gaming (A little bit not hard core gamers)
5. Watching netflix

Lastly which iPad should I buy that will last for my 4 years of engineering?
Agree vv much with the video. Engineering student and all my ipad has been reduced to is a convenient travel buddy for content.
I bought my I pad when I was in my CMA final and yahh it was a game changer...I have completed my finals and today I am a qualified CMA...so it is up to you how you use in your workflow...
Yup exactly
I own a Samsung s7+ tablet since 2020, works perfectly for my designing and for my notes taking purposes... I think ipad has a lot of limitations, unlike iPad my tablet can do wonders in third party apps, plus I do use some apple applications trickly installed here in my tab, but I cannot install android apps on apple😆. I own an iPhone too so I used both the one UI and apple interface,... I will Upgrade my phone to Samsung, coz of its functionalities obviously, there is no utilities in apple devices.
I think abou buy a ipad, but nowadays I'm very comfortable with my windows laptop main reason it's very easy to use and most of the time I use it on my bed, doing my work, chatting, calling watching youtube etc
In that case buying and iPad will only be for fun
Well he is not wrong ,most of the time I use it for multimedia purposes but I do use it to store pdf and to study during exam, I don’t make notes in it but I don’t carry books every where so IPad is super portable in that regard other than that I use it just for multimedia , I have also used Samsung tablet boy other than display it is not a good device, I have to say the software and os is super mature in iPad ,I have also used one plus and Xiaomi pad there software experience is not that good if you just want for multimedia consumption and you have an iPhone just got the air it will be perfectly fine but u don’t have an iPhone just got one plus or Xiaomi pad they are also really good. Samsung is a bit expensive and there hardware is not that great to be honest and there flagship tablets are more expensive than iPads so yeah it is nice to have an iPad but you need to understand your needs, BTW I have an iPad Pro m1 11inch I have been using it for more than two years
I completely agree with you
Sir
For lawyer , for drafting which is the best option of ipad pro or any other ipad and which version plz suggest..... Desperately waiting for your answer...
iPad or tab can't be a replacement of laptop
Thank u
honest review and nice editing.
MS office, (word, excel ), Light room etc do not work as we expect. writing with apple pen on apple note also need lot of patience and training.
the Skin on your ipad is sicK af, is it from layers?

It’s from capesindia.com
I used IPad mini for media consumption
Will Buy For gaming (idont like playing games in small screen)
and Media Consumption Is it okay To Buy Ipad ?
This the exact reason I got the Air 4 when it released….
This is the device I use more then my phone now even after 3years
But the cons I’m seeing now
#1 The screen isn’t OLED… when you compare it with your smartphone it isn’t that great and also peak brightness is 500nits if I’m not mistaken
#2 IPad + supported controller is a great way to play games theoretically although there are not much options and the options that are available there is a noticeable input lag (currently playing Psp games with psppx and Xbox cloud)
If you are already in the Apple ecosystem and you need a device with you always that’s not a laptop go ahead and get it…
@@elvisjoseph1437 thanks for the advice.
I booked m2 pro 11 inch for $750 256 gb + apple pencil 2, haven't delivered yet
Now i thinking to buy iPad air m2 256 + New apple pencil.whst should i do ?
Yes, save ur money
Keep the m2 pro version its awesome but it depends on your use case like if u do artistic work 2d, 3d m2 is just no brainer the pro screen is just better and faster and if ur sketching u can see a difference plus the hover feature is fun 😅
M1 Air is also good option but it doesn't come with lidar which atleast me uses it a lot
For notes taking and sketching will Xiaomi pad 6 is enough?
Xiaomi Pad 6 will be good for that
It's More Than Enough My Friend, You Don't Need To Buy Expensive Stuff (Like iPads) Just For Taking Notes And Sketching, If You're Creative And Have Skills You Can Basically Do It On XIAOMI PAD 6 Also, Its Also Alot Affordable At Rs.25K (6/128GB) And Rs.27K (8/256GB), Has Xiaomi Smart Pen (2nd Gen) Support, Snapdragon 870, 11 Inch Display With Dolby VIsion.Atmos Support, What More Else Would You Need, I Have Seen People Buying Expensive iPads Just For Sketching And After Some Time They Get Bored And Starts Using It Just To Watch Content On UA-cam, Netflix Amazon Prime....ETC.
Go for mi pad 6, not worth going for IPads
i am a finance student n a stock market trader and ipad air M1 is the best investment i ve made... absolute 0 regrets...

Apple putting M series chips in iPads is like putting a Ferrari engine in a VW Polo. You can hardly use it to its full potential

Backdrops user spotted 😅
Haha yes
I agree with you on this. I bough the ipad Air M1 when it was released, and although I already have a macbook and an iphone for the ipad to fit perfectly in between, it still ends up collecting dusk in my drawer for months at a time. If I need a portable device to take with me somewhere I simply just take my macbook. I am a student btw, and one may argue that students need iPad for notes and assignments, but let me tell you that you don't. Everything that an iPad does can be done on paper and your laptop. So save yourself some money and don't get an iPad, unless you have a very specific use case for it.
That means you aren’t aware of Freeform or the Notes apps on iPad. A game changer for a students note taking needs I would say.
@@SreejeshChakkaran As a matter of fact, I am. But as soon as the novelty wears off, you won't be using it. Unless like I said you have a very specific use case like being a medical student or smth
Sir i like to strongly object u mentioning students which is really pt. Less indirectly u persuading students to take this expensive thing whose buden ultimately going to bore out by parents .
99% of ias ,99% of mbbs ,99% of engineers nver used an ipad for taking notes and all during there prepration.
Mind it its india not america or some European country.
So pls for students no . don't say that
else if they fail in there neet exam they gonna complain that bcs they hvnt provided ipad thats y they couldn't able to make it.
u know what Samsung or xiaomi tabs r better tbh
they r cheap and can do everything u need in a tab
And Yeah nothing can replace laptop
For me iPad is the best machine I ever had even useful than laptop for me
most of the people values ipad only for note taking, no its is not made for note taking only you dont know what it can actually do and is capable of
Then sell it to me 😢
Only if apple gave touch to the macbook and the ability to rotate it like a 360 laptop. Then there would be no need for an ipad😂😂😂.
Or just give MacOS to the ipad and cancel the macbook. 😅
The biggest drawbacks of ipad is u cabt even use WhatsApp in it
Watching this video using my Tab S7 fe, and all I can say is, if you have an android phone, an android tablet and a windows laptop, the tablet will get neglected like a middle child of a family. XD
Same in the apple ecosystem 😂
Bhai tere pass use ni hai to dede mujhe
Honestly speaking not a single apple product appeals to me now, the whole apple product line up is boring except maybe Vision Pro
This is a gem for digital Notebooks takers. I am a CA Student and all my materials docs, & notes are on ipad

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with its remarkable S Pen is an excellent choice for note-taking, offering great value at just 20k. It even surpasses the Apple Pencil in terms of functionality and affordability. @nikhilmishra2112

@@sumitnayak5706 when do that offer comes
So much hardware capabilities Bt user can't use it's full potential apple should find a way to to support Mac application on iPads
Exactly
I wanted you advise regarding buying a new macbook.
My requirements are
1. going to use it in mba b-school mostly excel, ppt, word, multitasking 2. maybe sometimes learning to edit videos and photo
3.I really liked the 15 inch display but sadly it isn't available in M2 model. 4. should get the 16gb ram even as a regular user just to future proof it? Budget is flexible, I would like the laptop to last ideally 5t years and should be value for money My options are
1. Macbook air M2 13 inch 16/256 @1.2 lakhs[t seems to be the most logical option as there isn't much difference between m2 and m3]
2. base model MacBook air m3 @1.2 lakhs 3. Macbook Air M3 15inch 16/256 @1.5 lakhs[but my heart says go for the 15inch Screen
PS. already boughta 2TB samsung T7 so storage isn't an issue.
Curious to know your thoughts
Posted this on last video didnt get the response so re-post 😅
Also after the launch of M4 does it makes sense to buy M2?
Yeah you can definitely still go for the M2 chip and it will be future proof (especially with the 16GB Memory). But as you said if you want a 15" then there is only 1 option. So ideally it comes down to display size preference. If you are ok with 13" then go with M2 but if not then M3 15" is your best bet.
Go For Macbook Air M2 (13 Inch), The Reason Is....My Friend Uses MacBook Pro (13 Inch) With M1 Chip (8/512GB) Since 2020, He's a Really Powerful/Heavy User, Still In 2024 It Can Do Any Task You Throw At It, Everything Works Extremely Good, Smooth, Battery Life Is Also Great, Screen Also Feels Far Better Than Today's Newly Launched Windows Laptops. Even 3-4 Years Old M1 Is Still Going Strong So It Does Makes Sense For You To Buy M2 In 2024 Also.
@@Technolobe Thanks for the response actually I am flexible 13 inch is also great. I don't want the buyers remorse later so will go for 13 inch M2 with 16gb memory 😂 as my current windows laptop is consuming 10gb ram with 20 tabs of chrome and excel and ppt.
Also later I can add an external display if required.

Bro I think you don't know how to use the iPad properly or a Android lover
mipad 6 is my choice for entertainment purpose
Great choice
The whole iPad lineup is getting very confusing for me at least. The thing is 95% of the tasks could be done on the base 10th gen iPad and iPad Mini. The Pro is for pros and it's just software limited as of now. The iPad Air does not make sense...it does not have Pro Motion and is still heavier than the iPad Pro! It might be a very good option for casual users...but so is the iPad 10th gen and the mini!
Exactly. Super Confusing.
Nowadays for lawyers it's quite handy as a lot of papers are substituted for PDFs.
Yup have mentioned about it in the video

Sir suggested me a TAB FOR TRADING AND RESEARCH
AND FOR VEDIO UNDER 40K .....
Well i use Microsoft office,
I use notes app, i use to sign doc , i consume media, i store various files, it fits with everything, why should i buy ipad and not Galaxy tab s8/9 at same price sincein all this area galaxy tab s 9 is better
I also edit videos on my M1 Macbook Air, the main problem is the storage. Affording higher internal memory variants tempts us to go with pro versions instead of.
I am a BTech student and i have mi pad 6 which i use for taking notes, writing algorithm for dsa and writing my projects idea i tried luma fusion once but that's not work for me i need keyboard and mouse all the time for working productive so yaa for entertainment and taking notes my android tablet is a good device but for productive work i still prefer big screen with keyboard and mouse
I don't mind if apple discontinues ipad. My last purchased ipad was in 2012 and never got excited.
I got iPad and pencil, but I didn't like note taking in it, so it was just for multimedia use... So better get a Android tablet
just watch your videos even though i am not buying any product right now haha :P

can u tell me how much lumafusion , procreate, afinity photo take installation memory

great video 👌👌❤❤
Where did u get that skin from ?
For students its a boon….research work and note taking along with entertainment…better than spending lakh rupees for smartphones
Nice to know that man
Okay so now i would like to add a couple of things.
1. I own samsung galaxy tab s7 since 3 years and i am a student i bought the tab during lockdown period and trust me it just doesnt help in any ways, If you own a laptop trust me u will spend most of your time on your laptop attending classes and all and taking notes is just a gimmic we all know we are not gonna use a tablet for taking notes.
I use my tab majory for media consumption and playing bgmi and trust me the tab aces in those 2 areas
I am not an artist so cant give that perspective but i would suggest if you do some gaming and media consumption then u can go for regular ipad or the air one but its not necessary you can anyways watch those things on your laptop with earphones
Conclusion is gaming experience is the bestest in tablest so if you do gaming then you can go for tablets otherwise only for media consumption its a waste
So true
Hey man, just love this channel, the whole aesthetic and vibe 👌🏼👌🏼
Thanks 🙏
I am a Chartered Accountant using the iPad Pro 11 M1 for 2.5 years now… since the iPadOS 16, it has come a long way now. It is the only device for my workflow. Excel has by the way got more optimised (even pivot tables and lookup work) however function shortcuts still don’t work and we have to do work arounds. One would ask me if I have a problem with the screen size as it is merely 11 inches? I have a monitor attached to it for most of my workflow while I am in office. So with the dual screen attached situation I have a lot going in my favour. Plus the virtual server works like a beast on jump desktop (app to connect servers). Yes I had to unlearn a few things and learn a few work arounds but the speed and portability compared to windows laptops justify the same. (Magic Keyboard and pencil are a must though as both justify with a boost in productivity and organisation)
Thanks for sharing your experience. It’s awesome that you can integrate the iPad in your workflow perfectly.
@@Technolobe well to be frank it is not completely seamless. Would be happy if future iPad OS updates just ease a few work arounds like opening two excel sheets together means you need to open the app twice and then opening the two files separately in each app… which is just simply double clicking on the two files on windows or mac.🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@TechnolobeIt's very compact and fast device for nearly every work but Microsoft office experience is not seamless apple should think of combining macos and ipad os and introduce a combination of both it will simply beat all touchscreen 2 in 1 laptop available in the market alongwith tablets
