@@paulross9287 hey Paul. Just thinking.. Maybe the Maverick is a fastback Falcon. Lol. I love the Mavericks too!. My uncle ran the body of one on the dirt track with a police interceptor 460.. kicked alot of chevies butts. !!
Pretty sharp! Many advances have been made in the decades since this little beauty was produced. but there is room to wonder if many of today's cars will still look this good over 50 years from now. Maybe it's just me, but aren't most of the cars from the mid 60s really good looking?
One of these was my first car. Bought it when i was 14 in '97, for $50 bucks. I cleaned it up, tore down the motor, stripped it all down, and got it barely running. Then my parents divorced and i sold it a year later, for a tiny, but tidy profit for a kid.
Oh how I wish I still had mine..big block springs dropped 2in koni shocks the disc brakes off a maverick and the rear axel too so that gave me a couple extra inches of room for wheels and tires 15/10 on the back 15/8 on the front oh yeah I had a big sway bar all I needed was a engine and a trany lol but I still had crazy fun leaving camaros in the dust on exit ramps
I think the 66 to 69 Falcon stepped up the luxury factor substantially, the 60-63 were economic cars the 64 and 65 were on the same theme, and we all know about the 70 Falcon so yeh very classy car
The reason older cars looks so much better is because they had been designed and built by human beings Hands-On. We have been so dehumanized with the onslaught of Technology I can't even tell most new cars apart they look the same to me today's cars are designed by computers and built by robots. We rely way too much on technology. I've always said the downfall of mankind will be technology. Technology can be used for good or bad we use it mostly now for greed and self-gratification.
That’s a awesome Falcon. Never thought one could sound or look so good. Very nice job.
That is one beautiful Falcon! Very tastefully done.
That looks as good or better than a non fastback Mustang imho. Absolutely love it.
Wow. Love these little falcons. Sorta wish they made a fastback version too 😂. Maybe someone will!!.
I like the Mavericks as well.

And not only the 60's
One of the cars from the 2000’s that still looks great today is the Lincoln LS.
Great lines, the paint is about a mile deep, and the vinyl top just pulls it all together.... sweet ride !
This is one great looking basic transportation cars of the ‘60’s
Absolutely gorgeous falcon!

Glad I own a '65 Falcon 🎉 You can see that the Falcon began to lose its style in '66 and was completely gone by '69. 😢
Not in Australia. We had Falcons a lot longer here and some very nice body shapes such as the Xb coupes etc.

I'm not a fan of the 64/65 Falcons, but I love all other years and I wish I had been car buying age when Falcon was manufactured in the U.S.
The vinyl top and chrome trim look granny on that car.
Practicly Is a Mustang firts generation, nice car, 👍🏽
Gorgeous Falcon! Looks better than a Mustang! Is that a 302 or stroker variant or a 351or variant?
Next video do a POV.. We want to see her run.

Is the motor a 260 , 289 or 302?
