One of my fav lords in the game, definitely fav Lizardman lord. Aerial superiority is just so much fun, especially with his bombing runs. Some armies can't even touch him.
Fighting Chaos with a Quatol doomstack is just hilarious. They can't really touch you as you bombard them with all the Heavens spells, and after that you can pick them apart with hit and run attacks. Throw in a Skink Oracle for healing and you have a really effective stack.
The thing I like most about generic bonuses is that they can affect allied recruitment units as well. Particularly in Tiq-Taq-To's case his item auras will also affect allied recruitment flying units.
@@ShaunTripp The biggest one in the game is probably Tretch craventail giving his whole army devastating flanker. I'll be interested to see how he goes recruiting some battle trains from a chorf ally.

Tik taq to was my first campaign in WH2 in the Vortex campaign and one of my most played characters. I've always thought he was underrated... One of the best things for him I felt was coupling the upkeep reduction of the Terradons with the bombs. It meant I had a great force with TTT from turn 1 but it was cheap enough so I could start building up other stacks much sooner than i could with other Lizardman factions. And the bombs of the Terradons let all of my stacks cripple all of the most dangerous units before i engaged combat. I'm looking forward to trying out WH3 and Tiq Taq To will probably be my first campaign here too.
I love playing TTT. A fireleach bola doomstack is so much fun to play. He can win battles (especially siege battles) in a few minutes with these dive bombers.
The most fun lizardmen imo. And one of my favourite campaigns. You roleplay as the American air force. Nothing beats having your terradons flatten the enemy army before a charge of horned ones to destroy what's left.
I'm hoping the next series will be Legend taking on all the quest battles at the hardest difficulty, some are very difficult due to stat changes and the set armies from the battles menu not being updated
one thing you forgot to mention: The starting hero actually has a unique trait as of 2.2.0, that adds a -5 penalty to leadership on enemy armies in the region. He also has a random starting trait that can be Pompous. Combined with the save character feature you mentioned in the Skrolk review thats some fine cheese.
His bombings abilities are wonderful in the early game, really had tons of fun one shoting entire armies in seconds.... Until I met Kairos. With a doomstack of flying units Kairos projectile oriented armies just eradicate your terabola riders, completly ruined my campaign, just sending endless op stacks everywhere on my territory while I was unable to attack his territory cause i was busy defending, Kairos is my worst ennemy since then.
Tiq taq is definitely one of my favorite lords and very underrated. His faction effects are pretty damn good, he has a very strong army (from super early war crime firebolas to later coatls) and possibly the best rite there is (if used correctly it's almost like another turn). Also I've learned to appreciate him in combat too. Once i realized he is more of an assassin (possibly accidental design) than a fighter. Doesn't quite mesh well with the area buffs he provides, but damn... I've seen tiq taq do some really nice sniping
Last patch : "War declaration on a faction of the same subculture is now less likely for High Elf major, Empire major and all Lizardmen factions." So yeah, seems that rushing diplomacy will not be necessary now
His starting position is also quite unique for a lizardmen faction, its great if you hate fighting the jungle maps like i do since you can go into the desert instead.
When playing with Tiktaq'to I get a large number of flying units and send them hover over the enemy missile units then I drop the bombs. The image is great, it ressembles the first scenes of Apocalypse Now with napalm bombs being thrown on jungles.
Love the Terradons, but I find dropping their bombs to be challenging. Any chance you would want to make a "short" or something with advice on how to aim/use their rocks?
I always just make extra passes over top if I didn’t manage to drop them the first time. Carefully lining terradons of the same kind in the deployment helps a lot, since I’m pretty sure you can drop all the bombs at once if they’re all selected, it’s great when you’ve got a perfect line over the enemy and they can all drop with no misses
Hey guys I've been checking different site where you can purchase the new dlc, so for whatever reason if you live in Latin America(I checked them in Mexican currency) the dlc is way cheaper if you buy it on steam. I think this campaign review is something very interesting! Maybe you can try to find a way to make it a bigger thing? Just an opinion from someone that follow you!
Tiktaq'to is fun, but I get frustrated all the time trying to confederate Kroq-Gar and Zlatlan, how do you guys do it? Trying to find ways to do it quicker, I join all their wars, but by turn 50 I still don't have military access
Love Tiktaq-to. Such a different experience compared to the other lizardmen. Can take down strong enemies easily by just fielding flying units to bomb em all, and later the Coatls. Ammunition of the bombers is the only downside for me really.
I think he came in at a good time he was an flc. That came with ripperdactyls dlc. Making thematic game play. While Prophet and warlock was one of the best imo
The regiment of renown terradon riders have 3x the ammo, giving them incredible damage output even lategame. In addition to this his hero Itzi-Bitzi is a bit ridiculous. He can be saved and loaded... for up to -9 public order xD

Master of the Skies is better compared with Slippery than Foe Seeker. Both grant speed and melee defence, with Slippery granting +30% speed and +24 Melee Defence.
Blade of the Ancient Skies used to be one of the worst legendary lord items, most of its bonuses are only active against flying targets and most flying targets it would be useful against Tiqtak'to still can't deal with. That set effect saves it I think, but it's still not amazing.

Better to confederate still so you can get the 20% upkeep cost reduction followers I think. All thou wh3 on legendary is so much easier so perhaps it does not matter. I've not had time to try lizardmen in wh3 but several other factions. Only one that gave me a challange was the white dwarf, the dark elves bellow the sisters of twilight started to show up with 6 armies realy early on when I only had 1.5 armies, crossbowmen and some trickery solved that thou but gave a bit of a scare and a hell of a supprise for me :)

IMHO a large part of the ridicule comes from name. When GW named many of the Lizardmen they were most surely drunk or high. Or both.
When are they going to add a lizard legendary lord named Ro-Sham-Bo.
The only correct way to play this faction is to name all of your legendary lords and heroes after board games
