Thanks Ian! Brilliant and candid review. I just got hip to the Boogieman pedal a week or so ago at a jam where I blew through the PA. The cat who was kind enough to let me use it told me where to buy it online. So, the next day I purchased my very own and decided to pay a lil extra for expedited shipping and it should be noted that Lone Wolf’s shipping, packaging and delivery protocols are second to none. Came fast with a great tracking system, the box wasn’t banged up and the contents were squeaky clean, neatly/tightly packed with some cool promo materials like a Lone Wolf ball point pen, a Lone Wolf sticker and some biz cards for other online harp-geek specialty shops. So glad I received it in time for my New Year’s Eve performance tomorrow night! Can’t wait to blow the crowd away. Bravo to you Ian and to Lone Wolf!!!

@@HarmonicaBoss I’ve been researching for awhile now and leaning towards just getting a clean cat, but part of me wants to go all out and get a boogieman

FINALLY A GUY WHO DEMOS IT WITH A PA!!!! most videos are through amps.. that's not what most buyers are looking for.

I agree. I've got sidetracked spending a lot money on amps over the years and I still haven't found the ideal rig. I think the Lone Wolf Boogieman is the answer, as I'm a great believer in travelling with minimal gear & weight and using whatever amp or PA is on the stage at the time. Currently I use an Ammoon "American Sound" (probably a Tech21 clone of some sort) which cost me about $28USD new. For the price, it's actually okay, however the Lone Wolf Boogieman would be a far better unit, as it's got the delay built into it.

Looks to be an AWESOME solution. For years I've used a Lone Wolf Tone + into Lone Wolf Harp Break into DI and then into PA system wherever I play. Tone is great this way and no complaints, however all of this into 1 box is great! Since I started with the LW pedals years ago havent taken an Amp to a gig since......bloody god-send when you have to transport around.

    Great review
    Wasn’t sure to get
    Harp attack
    Harp delay
    Harp reverb
Or this, any thoughts on that

    Excellent demo Ian!
Just what I have been looking for!!
I am a Lone Wolf devotee owning 2 of their Harp Train 10 amps but have not felt the need to use any of their pedals as I am very satisfied with the performance of those amps without them?
With this though, I could use it directly through a PA and it would give me significant variation in sound out put to suit the different styles of music I am playing with a band called the Strangest Dreamers. We have a pretty eclectic mix of Folk, Blues, Country and a little bit of R&R and I could use this for all of that and not need to lug the amp around at all??
I have seen these on their web site but not being all that interested in pedals, I didn't check it out properly and didn't realise it had the PA connection. Derrrr
Look out piggy bank, I have a new toy on top of the wish list????

Thank you, appreciate the demo. It would have been interesting to see what volume levels one can reach while still maintaining that dirty sound.

I play my harp less and less as we moved into zydeco and horn lines so lugging a huge 62 lb amp is silly. This pedal is great I run it through my Bose L-1 .. I don't distort the heck out of it but just enuff for a slight menacing tone...when we do play a blues.. it melts faces and wins hearts. :-)

You already play with authority, and you got a badass tone to start with…But, that pedal is really Nice.
…I gotta admit, I’ve owned a LW Harp Attack for a year now, and it’s killah. I go directly into an RC-505 looper, and it sounds like I’m mic’ing my amp. I call it my Magic Red Tone Box.
