This is so well made! It's not often I'll sit through a video that long but I really enjoyed it. You're so positive and upbeat- I'm sure you're a joy to hike with- yet I love that you're repping solo adventuring. So good!
Well done! I have done different segments of it, but never the whole track. The section that goes through Donnelly river is just beautiful. I bought a few books on our native bird and plant species from the map shop in Fremantle (very recommended, it's a great little shop) so I can learn about the flora and fauna I see. I always think the people you bump into whilst hiking are generally the nicest people you will meet, they are always up for a chat. Welcome to Western Australia, I really hope you enjoyed your time here. The South West is a great area of the country to explore.
Thank you. Awesome to hear you’ve done sections as well, Donnelly River really is beautiful but I did wish I knew more about the local fauna and flora so thanks for the tip! ☺️🌱
I am so inspired by this! I am doing my first overnight hike next week, on my own. It is actually 3 nights, because why not start big... i am looking forward to it even more after watching you. 1000km is a long way, congratulations ❤
You've got determination and grit to do the 1000 km track. Respect!! I did the 48 km Kokoda challenge in the Gold Coast hinterland last year and was hectic enough. Great video
I live down in Albany in W.A. and I have done the Bib track. I did not do it all in one go so this brought back some great memories. Some of those spots are just amazing. It is one of the most life changing experiences that you can do if you haven't done the BIB track, I urge you to do it. If that's a little bit difficult do it like how I did it do it in pieces start at one end and travel and do each section over a number of weekends and months it will still feel the same that you get to see it and like I said it's a life changing experience thank you for the video as it really does. Make me feel good about my achievement and your achievement is amazing as well. Well done. I'm now a photographer and I go out to some of the places that I walked with my camera gear and just do a day walk and go back and photograph them. It's an amazing journey.
My goodness! What an incredible adventure. You faced some big challenges. It’s such a beautiful track. Thank you for sharing the good, the bad, and all with a positive attitude. We’d love to walk even a part of this track. 🥰
What an incredible walk by your self. Thank you for making this video with your upbeat happy commentary to share your experience and thoughts for other walkers to be inspired to follow your journey.
Fantastic video and what an amazing effort. As a fellow hiker I am blown away by the distances you covered day after day and just love your upbeat commentary. Great work❤
I followed your adventures on TikTok, you definitely had some less than average weather there! Amazing to see from the track perspective, I have camped and driven to many of the areas you walked through but never tried even a section of the track. Well Done!
Thanks for following along. Weather was quite an experience that’s for sure haha. So glad to hear you’ve gotten to experience many of these beautiful spots 🙌🏼
Lovely video and beautiful record of the wonderful Bibbulmun Track. Watching it brought back great memories of when I walked it -- much slower than you! -- a few years ago. Thank you
Wow, what a star you are. Your smile is infectious. Awesome video, fantastic narration and an epic trip. Rather weird feeling proud of someone i dont know, that was a real challenging hike and you smashed it. Becoming one of my favourite UA-cam channels. All the best.
Thanks for sharing another track on the wish list. Did well to cover such a long trip in a compact vid, really helpful to get an insight to the conditions and you coped a lot more rain than we usually get! 👍
Laura, that was just amazing. Congratulations 🎉. You certainly got rained on. How did you keep your feet dry? Loved the wild flowers, brought back memories of our time travelling in WA and SA. After the rain barren country would suddenly become colour for as far as you could see. ❤
Thank you 💛 there was no shortage of rain but I’m very grateful for how beautiful and green it made everything! I carried a few pairs of socks and a hiking towel so I could wash and dry them as much as I could along the way. Your travels sound absolutely beautiful x
Congratulations Laura, awesome effort to complete the trail unassisted. Also a great and inspirational video and an amazing amount of work just to put it together, I'm sure. I'm going to check out some of your other walks for sure! Looking forward to the Larapinta trail....
An excellent video. Good to see you walked the unofficial section after Denmark. It really doesn't seem right hopping in a taxi for that bit. Congratulations on a great hike.
You’re a real trooper, Laura. Did get get sore back and shoulders carrying a lot of food and what looks to be a fairly large backpack? You look super fit and strong, but 30kms a day for 5 weeks with a full load of gear seems like a Herculean effort!
Thanks! Not so much sore back/shoulders but definitely a few blisters 😅 my track fitness seemed to improve after the first week or so which definitely helped with long days. Very grateful for the experience ☺️
You are my new superhero! I wish I was young and fit again to attempt hikes like you do😍 although I’d faint at the first snake sighting. I seriously don’t know how you handle being so close to snakes.. they completely freak me out !! 😳 Well done on such an awesome challenging hike ⚡️⛈ 🌬🐍 🏕👍🏽
Wow was fantastic, i would have loved to do something like that but never did, my wee hikes would make you laugh, love the wild flowers, animals etc, how proud you should feel. Well done.👍
Congratulations, what a wonderful adventure. I have shared this video with a good friend who is a Park Ranger in Alaska, she hopes somday to come and do a section or two. Thanks for sharing and happy hiking 🤗
Such a gorgeous smile! Seeing such happiness in such bad weather conditions brings an infectious sense of good feeling. Double hutting the bulk of the track is an amazing feat also. I did the E-E in 2019 and hope to go again this year. Such a great experience.
Well done Laura 👏 great video and thanks for sharing your journey. I live in Perth and u took me back to that ridiculously rainy period. I can’t image trekking in wet boots. In my day way back when it wud have meant blisters
I always wondered if anybody hiked the entire trail… and I never knew that huts were made available along the way. I’ve often toyed with the idea and seeing your video has encouraged me to consider taking up the challenge. Thank you!
Well done Laura!! Fabulous achievement for you; especially in all that rain! Great footage too! Definitely given me some insights and inspiration for my E2E in Sept (just hope I don't get as much rain as you!!) LOL. x
Congratulations Laura, on both a speedy hike and a succinct and informative record of your journey. Really enjoyable and you have certainly captured the essence of the Bibb - rain and all!
Thats some pretty decent daily distance you are covering. I'm planning to do the Cape to cape soon and did a few test sections. 20km is pretty decent for me but 30km. Good job! Hopfully i'll get the time to do the Bibb next year
Loved watching this. I had a similar experience with a school group at Monadnocks. I actually emailed the school about the student conduct. Those poor Teachers were exhausted dealing with the behaviour.
Great way to showcase this beautiful track Laura. Loved the grit and determination you showed. I'm headed off solo SOBO in April and this was a fantastic wee bit of inspiration for me, so thanks
What an adventure! You are one truly amazing (and inspiring) young Lady! I'm curious how you were able to carry sufficient food and charge your phone / camera?
Wow, Laura, what an amazing walk! You really did smash out those kms!!! Enjoyed your very informative commentary, and footage is excellent. You must be super fit!! Such an inspiration. Would love to know more about what gear you used (esp boots!), how you packed up your kit, and any pros & cons you found with your gear. I was wondering what all that water did to your feet!
Very inspiring Laura. You have an amazing can do attitude that is very contagious. I will now look into achieving this great track in the not so distant future. Thank you for sharing your journey.
Congratulations on a great achievement. And great recording and editing of your adventure. Whats the best bit of equipment you must have, on your trips? Cheers from Melbourne
26.20 at tom rd hut. I hate to tell you but their not old growth trees. Thats regen thats been planted and grown back after logging. Pretty good advert for how sustainable logging is 😊 thanks
The "green tunnel" at 25:00 is Bossiaea aquifolium, aka 'waterbush'. Very common understorey species in the jarrah forest and very unpleasant to walk through after rain.
This was a fantastic video Laura! This is definitely on my bucket list! new subscriber here for sure, cant wait to watch your other videos for a bit of inspiration for my own (much smaller) channel! very glad i have found your channel!
This is so well made! It's not often I'll sit through a video that long but I really enjoyed it. You're so positive and upbeat- I'm sure you're a joy to hike with- yet I love that you're repping solo adventuring. So good!

Well done
