Just a shout-out to say thanks for the good energy. I watched all your hikes 9 months ago whilst recovering from a few brain surgeries. It was a great motivational tool. Thanks again, and good luck on the next UGE adventure.
Have a great time. Looking forward to following your updates . I’m doing two weeks of the South Island with my son who’s doing the whole South Island. Shame we won’t run into you.
Amazing Laura can’t wait to watch your next hiking adventure and hope all goes to plan. As a casual hiker that hasn’t done anything longer than about 7 days I’m curious as to what food you pack for long distance trips that also help keep your weight down. Thanks and all the best on your next adventure 😊
As an ultralight thru hiker it always pains me to see a base weight that could easily be halved without sacrificing comfort & safety! BUT, I also appreciate that you are getting good use from your existing gear + you have plenty of miles using it, and ultimately more weight will just make you stronger! Best of luck in NZ, I'll be keen to watch when you're all done!

As an avid kiwi tramper, may I suggest you do the Mt Ruapehu extras, and do the Rakiura Northwest Circuit if you'd like something unique.
All the best with it! And thanks for the toe sock idea in another vid, wear them daily now…👍

I’d love to know why you’ve changed tents, is it purely to decrease weight or for other reasons? Asking because I’m in the market for a 1 person tent
