    You see the sparse and eclectic appointments of the nice little home. A young lady just piecing together her adult life. She has herself a comfortable place and she's adding things as she is able. Then the Col come's along and steals that life and future from her for the most pathetic of all reasons. He wants a sexual thrill. It's so despicable that we spend hours reading and watching and trying to understand the why. But you can't understand it because it doesn't fit. There is no why that would trade the whole of the promise of young Jessica for a couple hours of sex. The overwhelming majority of us just can't reconcile the two. The Col here thought it was a fair trade. Incredible selfishness.

    After he raped, tortured and killed Jessica Lloyd, he dumped her body at a place where his next-door neighbor had a hunting spot. His neighbor had been arrested previously, and Williams was trying to frame him for his own crimes.
    When Russell showed up to the police station on that Sunday, he thought he was going to be questioned about his neighbor. He was so sure about this, that he drove the SUV that he committed the crimes with. And he wore the boots that he committed the crimes in.
    "Arrogance" doesn't even come close to describe how ridiculously untouchable he thought he was.

      hey thanks for the comment, you know I was watching again the episode on this sonofabitch and the police mentioned this at one point: south of the 7, east of tweed, west of 41. I looked it up on google maps and then I read it was on a certain street, and I thought, hey thats not a really secluded area is it? theres a road, low terrain, quite clear and open visual from the road... and I thought hey thats canada, there are lots of really really secluded areas in canada he could ve tried, but he chose to dump her body there at the side of a road? why did he take such a big gamble? anyone passing couldve seen his vehicle, or him carrying the bodybag into the woods. now you say he was trying to frame his neighbor and it all makes sense. how did know find out about his neighbor hunting spot?

      Not really; it's more likely he had no time to do anything about his shoes, much less his car. They called him to come in, being the base commander where Comeau was killed, he had no choice but to comply...

    It's scary & sad to think that Jessica just happened to be working out @ the wrong time as this monster drove by her house. What scares me is how easily he could have gotten away with it for longer, it makes you think about the possibility of there being more psychopath serial killers out there. The only thing they got him on was the tire tracks and the boot prints. Both would have easily been destroyed if it snowed even a little bit during that night or the following day it took for the police to collect the evidence. Hell, he could have just wore different boots to the police station and explain away the tire tracks by saying they are a popular brand of tire for his pathfinder.

      The boots and tyres were enough evidence for them to secure a search warrant for both of his properties. He knew they would find his stash of stolen underwear and the hard drives with pictures and video evidence. Jim Smyth tricked him by giving him the option to go down in history as a mild mannered killer or a blood thirsty one like Bernardo.

    • @YourFreeBeats
      @YourFreeBeats 3 роки тому +4

      He had no chance in hell getting away with it IMHO. He left evidence everywhere. Basically once he became a suspect is was a WRAP.
      This is what I find most surprising about this it’s almost as if he WANTED to be caught. He wore the same boots and drove the same vehicle to the interrogation. His DNA is everywhere as are the DNAs at his location.
      If I were him the one thing my name was brought up in ANY capacity I would have flown myself out of the county and and never returned.
      This is why he crumbled in the interrogation. They had nothing on him at that time but he knew Even then he still could have got away. It’s not like he doesn’t know how to fly or anything. Just get in a plane and leave. So bizarre but it’s not like he is normal anyway. Ugh.

    • @trickortrump3292
      @trickortrump3292 2 роки тому

      He actually was still in that one woman’s house when she got home. You probably know the story but just in case….she came home and noticed her sex toys were gone and she called the guy she’s married to now and he came over and they were talking about calling the police and how the cops would probably laugh it off and maybe it was someone she knew pulling a prank. When she walked by her computer a little while later there was typing on the screen saying something along the lines of “go ahead and call the police. I’ll tell the judge how big your dildos are.” Because there was a reference to the specific conversation she’d just had with her friend, they knew he was still in there when she got home.

      Alan Mcinnes having mde it to the tank of colonel, he probably believes he's far superior to this mere police investigator and feels worse about having a lowly cop take him apart and take him down as if he was a little child than he does for his horrible crimes psychopaths are more concerned about getting caught than thay e about harm they do to their victims. They they are incapable of empathy or compassion. Yndoubtedly he "knew" no mere cop could ever be even a small challenge for him. From time to time videos of various canDian police interrogations pip up on UA-cam not all as intense as this one, but the interrigtors are always extreemly good. If I'm ever in Canada, I'll take extra care to stay on the right side of the law. Not only is it the right thing but I also wouldn't like to be in one of those rooms having to answer questions. Unlike this "colonel"( guilty Vin 88 major violent crimes so likely he's not in the military anymore, probably isn't even allowed to call himself col,RTD.) , I know I'd be completely outclassed

      You nailed it. It amazes me how he didn't want to try to get help, but he was all about his status of work and ego driven to do more by his dark fetishes. He was very much into the whole "secret" play and discretion of doing things he shouldn't do. People get aroused by the thought of that. Cheating wives or husbands have that discretion fetish sometimes where it thrills them to be doing it and their spouse not knowing what's going on and being on the edge of being caught. I knew this guy who loved to wear underwear and panties underneath his business suit.

The comprehensive, obsessive nature of his filming, taking photos, and notating, automatically documented situations and helped detectives and prosecutors like no other case. Ultimately, he cared about no one except himself. Glad at least 1 of the victims successfully sued Williams and his ex wife.
    I always thought there was uncertainty prior to his walking in the interview room, but this short clip proves they already had incriminating evidence because he discarded a bag of undergarments ENROUTE to police headquarters.

      There is some record and it's pretty interesting. He was included in a study by some American professors about why some prolific sexual predators keep things from their victims even though it's a huge risk to hang onto such evidence. From that and from psychiatric reports, none of the professionals think he has actual clinical psychopathy. Interestingly, one of the women he raped said she thinks he actually does have a conscience based on some of the things he did (or didn't do) with her.
      Basically what the experts boil it down to is that he had some sexual paraphilia that was so compulsive and obsessive that it took over his life. Williams himself reported having fantasies about stealing underwear in his 20s and 30s but he never actually did it then. The fantasy obviously never went away and it seems that apparently over time he became so obsessive over it that he actually convinced himself to start doing it. In my own opinion, I think he was so absurdly successful at doing it (breaking into hundreds of homes, many times breaking into the same home on multiple occasions, without being caught once is pretty impressive) that he started to feel invulnerable against authorities which just emboldened him even further in his crimes. What he didn't seem to understand is that police aren't going to spend $10M on an investigation and manhunt for someone stealing underwear but they sure as hell are going to when you start raping and killing people.
      Psychiatrists who worked with him apparently view him as kind of an enigma who doesn't fit the usual mold. Family and friends of his were apparently flabbergasted when they found out. I know most people around predators/killers like these are surprised, but it was particularly so in this situation. Many of them not only said they were surprised but all how stories about how he showed genuine emotion and empathy at times. One of his coworkers even described how he was distraught over the death of his cat which happened only a few weeks before he was arrested.
      At some point, things got out of hand in his mind and he couldn't control his impulses. Obviously he wasn't a good person but the label of 'psychopath' doesn't apply here. As someone mentioned in an earlier comment he did try to kill himself by choking on a toilet paper roll. He actually did that the night he was arrested, a cold-blooded psychopath sure as hell isn't going to do something like that.Personally I think he was probably molested and/or abused as a kid. That doesn't justify even 1% of what he did but it would help connect the dots and show where that huge disconnect in his mind was that would allow him to go through with something like this. The majority of the time these monsters are created in childhood, they aren't born that way.

    The most frightening thing about Williams is his highly functional, normal public persona. He is a reminder, "There, but for the grace of God, go I." @@speakthetruth995 when people pray for the dead, it isn't in order to release them from hell, or aid them in heaven. Many people die without serious guilt, but with minor faults that exclude from heaven while not deserving hell. Since God is both justice and mercy, these souls are cleansed in purgatory before entering heaven. Praying for them helps to fulfill their cleansing more quickly. That is why people pray that the dead may rest in peace: the peace of seeing God face to face after their purgatory.

He was identified as a suspect after the discovery of the tire tracks to the north of Lloyds home, when they stopped traffic along that highway near her home inspecting vehicle wheel base width for something consistent. Then all the the other connections to the women near his cottage and Marie France Comeau at CFB Trenton - became apparent. But it was those tire tracks and footwear impressions that sealed the deal and allowed Sgt. Smith to break him during the interrogation. Likely also was the basis for the search warrant that revealed all the other evidence. Horrific that offenders like Williams are only caught after leaving a trail of victims.

      Um nice try! Like saying every cop is a good cop, cops break rules no matter what country!
      News flash US cops get away with crimes everyday
      Every US cop has to follow protocol?...like they do flawlessly....lol
      I know I live there.....i just don’t like when people say...oh if that happened here that cop would have been terminated....yeah ok!
      Every case is different and you know Jack shit!

      This didn't happen in America, it was in Canada. Part of the issue was Williams was a dedicated predator and trained military soldier; another is he preyed in areas with low crime rates and quiet streets.

I mean I could understand if she tried to run away but that’s not what the marks show or is it? Just a bit confused, also it says there’s a watch location is that watch location the one where he drove by and saw her working out ?

    For anyone wondering about his wife. They actually did not live together she lives in Ottawa where she worked on the charity board while he lived in Tweed serving in the Army. Russell would then go up to Ottawa on the weekends to see her or she would come down to tweed to see him. It why she probably never knew because they lived such separate lives even though they were married.

      I don’t think she knew...maybe that he was a cross- dresser but she put up with that. But from all I read about her, she’s didn’t give a damn about the victims. All she cared about was $$$ and making sure none of the victims families got any of it.

      In some of the videos covering the investigation, they mention that his felonies had been escalating gradually starting from breaking into the houses when the hosts were not present, ending up with the assaults and murders.
      At one point between these he started to break in while the women were actually being at home, and it says he started doing that just for the thrills. So I think this is an answer to your question. That mate was doing it for “fun” but his twisted mind got him on a completely wrong path.

  • @enzomaidana5369
    @enzomaidana5369 2 роки тому +1

    thank god he was just moving from the photo fetish shit to more violent shit when he got caught. I think he killed the first one because of the fricking cat that stared at him and gave him away. after that he had to make a decision, let her live and risk being identified by her, or kill her. he went for the latter and once he did that, he found a thrill in not only humiliating his victims but also in killing them. got caught because he was incredibly arrogant and stupid. he is not an inteligent killer, he was just methodic in his tasks, being that getting a pilot license or cleaning the toilets in his dormroom, and good for organizing shit in general and bossing people around. thats a methodic person. an intelligent killer is a completely different animal. an intelligent killer never ever underestimates police work. this dummy went to a police interview in his SUV and wore the very same shoes, I mean camon. if this guy is intelligent I am the unrecognied son of einstein and freud.
