Do you like teaching literature? I think this will make it so much more fun for me!

Classic literature is everything. I did not grow up reading classics either and I wish I did however, just like you, I'm learning alongside my kiddos.

Once you get in the groove, can you please do a “lesson with us” for using Teaching the Classics with both students to show how it can be used as a table lesson? I know you mentioned just changing the questions, but i’d love to see how you apply that!

I love the idea of coffee and curriculum!!!! You would have me as a regular viewer😂 your curriculum picks have inspired me so so so much recently. We chose to go with Generations and fix it grammar all from watching your videos. Thank you for your guidance💜

Mandy, your excitement is contagious, even though we are not doing the Classics or who knows we might. We are going to be doing a lot of literature this coming year. Just listening to you makes me want to go shop for more books 🤣

I'm excited to hear how this works for you. I love teaching from whole books, but how to do that in high school is challenging me. IEW is an amazing company.

Thank you for this video. We have used and am using IEW curriculum. I saw this one and heard about it through a podcast. I look forward to hearing your review to see how everything goes. Also if you have tips and advice how you get through the curriculum successfully, I would really appreciate it. Thank you again!

I’ll add that IEW’s podcast is fantastic! I think there are more than 300 episodes.

I’m just stopping by to help clarify that Teaching The Classics is actually a product of Center For Lit (which I think it’s worth mentioning) It is sold by IEW as well but it was not made by them or for them. It was made by Adam and Missy Andrews from Center For Lit.

How old is your 6th grader? Sounds like a great literature year. He sounds like my daughter!

Do I need the Teaching classics or can I get away with just the timeline?

When do you think you could start this curriculum? How young/what grade?
