I swear half of my notes are filled with stuff from your videos!! Please keep these coming you make everything so simple for me to learn. I had a ton of trouble getting caught out trying to shimmy.
Thank you so much, I’m just here to help!
Still some of the absolute best, clearest, most concise yet chill vids for improving at SF6.
Thanks bro!!
Showing the training methods for practicing what you teach is the cherry on top. Awesome material as always, thank you very much for your help!
Glad you liked it!
These are some great tips! And, very important ones! I love the visual demonstrations, including the showing off of how to set up the training dummy!
So glad you liked it, thx!
These videos of yours have been invaluable. A goldmine of information, and well presented too.
Thank you so much for the kind words! Hope to have more vids soon
Good info on training options. I dread wakeup OD reversal/super.
Hope to finally try ranked now that I'm online. Consise & well done. Thanks.
Tip #3 is something I notice i fail doing in my games a lot. Thanks for the tips.
Happy to hear you were able to take something away from my video. Thx for watching!
Sometimes I get caught in the corner and can’t get out, thanks for the tips to change that.
No problem 👍
High quality as always, thanks!
💪🏻💪🏻
Walking back too far is definitely something I do often. Then my whiff punish whiffs and I get punished
I do this too, and even if you don't whiff or get 2MK'd, needing the longer range of a 9 or 10F HP gives you less time to react than if you are still in range for a 6F medium. You also don't want to have to rely on the "middle ground" of 2MK due to increased scaling.
I need to consciously work on this!
Man you literally gave me tips on my 3 biggest flaws in one video 😂 thanks. You’re the best 🖤🖤
Thank you so much!!
Thank you! Very Useful suggestions because I struggle with shimmy😅
Glad to help and thx for watching as always!
I felt personally attacked. Lol
Thank you for the video Chriss!
Not at all, there were a ton of reviews I checked that had this same theme. Thanks for watching bro!
Super useful material, you are awesome!
And so are you bro💪🏻
Awesome stuff ! Thank you
And thank you too!
This is awesome, thanks a lot!
Glad to help!
awesome, as always!!
Thanks again!
This video is so gold. Thank you im in platinum and nobody literally wakes up and not mashes or use od dp or throw. Im an aggressive player and like to keep
Pressing my advantage this video is awesome i hate getting blowed up on wake up
Glad you liked it!
Thanks g, great vid
Thx for watching!
Great video! I’m curious, what button layout do you use for your leverless
LP MP HP Parry
LK MK HK
DI
Right before evo thank you!
Good luck at evo!
@Chris_F is there a standard response to blocking a wake-up 4F jab during the shimmy attempt? I was always trying to walk back enough so that a jab would also whiff but based on this video that probably means I'm walking back too far right?
Waking up with buttons is a counter to shimmy, so in that case you’re going to have to go for a meaty attack.
More guides more learning let’s go ❤
More to come!
@@Chris_F let’s Goooooo
Is meaty counter hit C.LP one hit confirmable, or you just input C.MP after the light button either on hit or on block then confirm the first hit 🤔
Totally depends on the character, but generally there isn’t enough time. For example, it’s very possible to react to the ch jab if you’re playing m bison.
So I checked Ryu's frame data on his 4f moves and adding the active and recovery frames you get 10-11 frames to react to the counter hit icon. 11 frames is about .18 seconds which is below the average human reaction time of .25s.
I looked up the fastest documented reaction time and it's .12 seconds. So I guess it's possible for people with insane reaction times but for most of us it's probably just a good idea to throw in a medium hoping your meaty jab landed a CH every now and then.
Great video, does he have anything about opponents that always back roll?
No I don’t bc that varies a lot between each character and each knockdown so it’s a bit hard to do
Yo,
Are you suggesting that we should be able to change the route from a single connected light if it’s a counter hit? Meaning crlp to stmk on counter/ crlp to crlp on normal hit?
No, just to go for your mp CH link if you think they’re going to push buttons.
Off the top of my head, I know bison has a LP that has enough hitstop to confirm a CH. Hard, but possible.
Coming from kof to sf is hard especially with movement, jumps or escape option. I don't even mention throw loops. I feel like I fight underwater.
SF is def more about small spacing and movement so if you can make that adjustment I’m sure you’ll be fine!
Chris_F is the best, we dont deserve you Chris. Or is it Bryan...
Thanks, I always try my best to make good content!
Coming from tekken to SF6 getting real pressure is the hardest part for me
I really enjoy all the systems but trying to remember frames when they change on DR or punish counter is hard
I play Akuma and keep doing HK into d+HP but that DRush only 😂
My best suggestion is to just remember the frames for your most common CH starters
The only problem on search for jab counter hit confirm is if the opponent block you can’t continue the jab frametrap , because of the time you use for see if it’s counter hit
True, it’s a call you need to make
Крис, ты лучший.
Thank you!!!
I auto pilot after the shimmy 😅
I'll react more now I swear.
Any tips on practicing meaty vs jab mash on wake up? Can never keep my shit tight consistently
Try to find meaty setups for your character, otherwise just set the dummy to jab on wakeup and mess around
Either find an auto-timed meaty setup or practice the manual timing. Auto-timed setups will depend on your character
fuck yeah I hate jimminey crickets thats what I call those jumpers who just jump all day long and all day night !!! they are my downfall I have an allergic reaction to crickets now IRL
You’ll def start winning more against those players now!
