Kendra! Firstly, I want to thank you for all of your very well informed, and thoroughly detailed yoga and nourishing foods content! Your vibe, your relaxed voice and everything, I love it! Secondly, thank you for helping me on my journey (among so many others, too), with regaining balance and structure with hormones/fertility/more regular menstruation. I've been implementing your lovely yoga videos daily, weekly, and it has helped me SO much - I cannot thank you enough!! I have been making slight alterations to my lifestyle recently - including creating sustainable, nourishing lunches for work, just to name on, and daily yoga and it has been incredibly beneficial so far. I got my period today (a day early than anticipated). I love your chill, positive energy and look forward to more grounded, relaxed, rejuvenating mat time with you! :D Thank you SO much!
THANK YOU!!!! This is one of the most reassuring and useful videos on fertility nutrition that I've seen. I'm one of those who gets bogged down in trying to do everything perfectly. This often leads to me getting overwhelmed and not doing anything.
I am so greatful- this is so detailed. I must say i was surprised by how little these ladies were eating though. The snacks seemed way less than i am having. Great learnings thanks
I'm happy you found it informative! Undereating is incredibly common. Also, notice I didn't say how much of each food they were eating, just what they were eating. I hope you walked away with some info you can put to use! Be well!
Hello dear Kendra. I want to know that you are so lovely and I loved all the information that you provide us with love. I'm 39 years old and I TTC. Last year I had a 2 miscarrieges, so this year we hope to get pregnant again. So far I found the information very Interesting and I will start to add certain ingredients to my diet, as well as follow the yoga exercises. Thank you ❤
Hello Elena! I'm sorry for your losses. I hope you've had some time to grieve and process them. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the videos. I hope they support you on your path to pregnancy. Be well!
This was super helpful, thank you! So glad to know that full fat dairy is better for this journey. Love love love the suggestion to enjoy the food we’re eating as well.❤
This was a very very helpful video. I have been pretty versed in nutritional information for a while now with regards to overall health and fertility, and this was super helpful and simplifying what to eat in a stress-free way! Thank you!!!
Thank you so much for this video. I have always been drawn to a wholesome healthy diet and never really saw any food as the enemy except for maybe the obvious. But there’s is so much messaging out there that has made me enjoy food less as I try to change my diet from what I love and know to their recommendations.🙏❤️ It’s so important to enjoy what you eat otherwise it feels pretty unenjoyable. What are the point of tastebuds then? lol
I typically recommend 200mg or more to my one one one clients but your provider may recommend a different does depending on what they believe would be best for you based on your unique health history and needs.
Hi there. I don't have one but they regularly run promotions right on their site or have a discount code in the banner on their site. So I recommend just heading to their site and seeing what's available (or google "Natalist coupon code"). Be well!
Hi Kendra, thanks for the great video! I saw where you said full fat dairy is important for fertility. I have a severe dairy allergy, I’m anaphylactic. I’m sorry if I missed this, but do you have recommendations for dairy free options that can have the same benefits as full fat dairy? Thank you!
Hi Emily! The researchers in the study I was referring to were comparing full fat dairy consumption to low fat or non fat dairy consumption, rather than dairy consumption to no dairy consumption. I don’t interpret their findings as them saying full fat dairy should be added to someone’s diet to support fertility or that if someone cannot or chooses not to have dairy that they’re missing out on something important. To me it means, if someone does consume dairy, full fat seems to be a better option for supporting female fertility than non fat or reduced fat. Hope that makes sense! Not the easiest thing to type. Lol. Anyhow, for my clients who can’t tolerate dairy, I just recommend they eat or drink whatever they enjoy and have access to. Overall eating pattern matters so much more than a single food or food group so I don’t recommend getting too hung up on the details. There are some charts you can easily find that compare the nutrients found in different types of non dairy alternatives. They can help you decide what might be the best fit for you from a nutrition standpoint. Hope that helps!
Hi there 👋🏾 Sounds like you already know quite a bit about prenatal nutrition. While many of these things would still be appropriate and beneficial during pregnancy (eating a wide variety of foods from as many food groups as one has access to and can tolerate, eating enough to meet energy needs, etc.) it would be wise to follow pregnancy-related food safety recommendations (like warming deli meats to steaming hot before consuming them or not eating them at all) during pregnancy. Hope that helps! Be well 😊
Hi Kendra, can you help me with diet and yoga for low Amh level of 0.5 and my age is 27 It would be helpful if you make separate video on Amh level treatment and causes for low levels below 30
Hi there! Thank you for the video suggestion. In my practice, AMH alone isn’t something I give too much weight to. I’m always curious about other labs and lifestyle behaviors. That paints a more complete picture of someone’s health, hormones, and fertility. This sounds like something you’d want to work with a dietitian one-on-one for tailored advice. What I share in this video is a good starting place though. Best wishes!
Hi there! I recommend reading this article and my reply to the previous commenter. And remember, AMH is not a predictor of fertility or the likelihood of conceiving. natalist.com/blogs/learn/whats-a-good-amh-at-every-age
Hi there! Many of the general recommendations for nutrition for fertility are going to be the same recommendations for someone with adenomyosis. Plenty of anti-inflammatory fiber-rich and antioxidant-rich foods come to mind. Another thing that comes to mind is supporting regular ovulation. I recommend talking to your doctor about your medical treatment options as well. You might also want to work with a dietitian who specializes in women's health, one-on-one, for a tailored approach to nutrition for your concerns. Be well!

Hi Natalia! Thank you for raising this common concern. The effect of phytoestrogens is no where near as strong as the estrogen our bodies produce or the synthetic estrogens used in birth control. As I shared, the research shows soy and other legumes are associated with a reduced risk of infertility and an increased likelihood of live birth. I do agree that too much can be a problem, but too much is far more than most people consume (and too much of anything can be harmful.) I think we would all do well to avoid equating a food with a single compound it contains. Legumes are not just sources of phytoestrogens. They are also important sources of fiber, resistant starch, nonheme iron (which is associated with a reduced risk of ovulatory and infertility caused by other factors), other vitamins and minerals, and health-supporting phytochemicals. And I'd love to see the research behind the concern you raised. I'm always open to learning more! Thanks again!
@@LiveFertile I am really Happy to have that conversation. During reading about that matter I have got to the nice summerizing paper which says:” phyto-oestrogens are beneficial or harmful to human health is neither straightforward nor universally applicable to all groups.” ( doi: 10.1017/S0029665116000677) As you said- the personalized approaches towards each person Healthy diet is up-most important. I have also support that approach and would like my patients to be more open to new products, new tastes and not stuck in their unhealthy habits just because it is Good for other person they KNOW:)

@@cherrylove8447 That's not weird at all. The way I look at it is, insulin resistance (which is common with PCOS) can hinder ovulation. So addressing insulin resistance, which metformin does, improves ovulation regularity, which then improves cycle regularity. Plus regular ovulation, tends to improve estrogen : progesterone balance and progesterone production, which has a lot of health benefits and can improve a number of symtpons. Remember, our bodies are complex and connected. Often when we improve one area of our health, it influences other areas too. Not sure why I'm just now seeing this comment. That is weird...
