I’ve witnessed a lot of women with atrocious diets / lifestyles have children without even trying. I know someone with severe endometriosis get pregnant without wanting a child, she took the day after pill and the child survived! A very good friend told me that she had the occasional whisky during pregnancy and only took prenatal for 3 months, because she was afraid to gain weight. Meanwhile, I have a very clean diet, I don’t smoke, I don’t drink, I don’t use drug, nothing is wrong with me nor my husband and we’ve trying to have a child for 8 years. Fertility will forever be a mystery to me
I imagine it can feel frustrating or unfair when you see people getting pregnant who aren't being as intentional as you are. You touched on a few really important things in this one comment. Thank you for sharing your experience and feelings as well as highlighting three things I'd love to explore in future videos: 1. There is an element of mystery to all of life. We don't have complete control, though we do have some influence. 2. Doing everything "right" isn't a guarantee for "success", nor is doing everything "wrong" a surefire way to NOT get something. 3. And I'm not saying this is the case for you, but it is something I've seen in my private practice several times. Often when people have shared that they have a clean diet or a healthy diet, upon close inspection, their diet has been overly restrictive. Which can be detrimental too. Again, not saying that's the case for you. I hope you find comfort and I hope your hopes become a reality soon.
Thank you for this video! Fort hose on a time crunch, the tips start at 6 minutes. The beginning is more explaining where her point of view comes from, advice if you come from a different culture, etc
I'm sorry for your loss. I hope this video and others on my channel provide you with support and guidance as you grieve, recover, and prepare to try again. Sending hugs.
This was so helpful, thank you! I've already taken your tips for cereal and will be doing breakfast burritos this week based on your recommendations. Also your voice is so soothing, I always just leave feeling so sleepy and happy! Love your guided meditations for that reason as well. :)
Hello, thank you for your info. I personally have celiac disease and an intolerance/food sensitivity for most gluten foods, all cheese, all dairy; except eggs, most meats, and some fish. I choose more fruits and vegetables, but I do wonder if there are other ways to ensure I’m getting all my necessary nutrients. It’s not easy.
Hi there! It sounds like you would benefit from working one-on-one with a dietitian who specializes in working with people with multiple food allergies and sensitivities. Your allergist and/ or gastroenterologist should have a list of dietitians they refer to. I'd start there! Be well!
I noticed you often suggested berries as the additional fruit. Are there any other general types of fruits that can be alternatives? Berries are imported fruits for my case. Also, what are your thoughts abt skipping breakfast because you're intermittent fasting?
Whatever type of fruit is available to you and that you enjoy is awesome. Enjoy what you have and like! As I shared in the video, breakfast skipping isn't something I recommend for a number of reasons. I don't think the impact on our health and hormones changes in the long run simply because we call it intermittent fasting. I hope that makes sense. Be well!
I can't say if it's true as I haven't read any research that suggests that, nor have many of my one-on-one clients been strictly vegan. In my experience, I have seen that it can be a lot harder for some vegan people to meet their calorie needs and some of their micronutrient needs. Which could hamper fertility. I think the problem is less about the type of diet and more about whether or not the individual's needs are being met. Hope that makes sense. Be well!
I am just catching up with videos and this one was great! Thank you for all the great tips 😊 I will be adding the wrap with the tofu and bacon! I also liked the tips on porridge. I tend to just add a bit of cinnomon but will be adding more next time I have some.
Hi there. No reason. In this video, the recommendations were based on what people said they typically eat for breakfast. So I didn't list every possible food someone could eat for breakfast, just some simple things people could add to what they were already eating without making a whole new meal. The last meal already contained eggs so no need to add them and I wouldn't add eggs to a vegan's breakfast for obvious reasons. Eggs are great if you like them. Hope that helps.
I just watched this video because I’m looking for healthy meals! Why do you recommend whole milk? Im not plant based so would you recommend cow’s milk instead of a milk alternative?
Hi there! For those who can tolerate and enjoy dairy, I generally recommend opting for full-fat dairy rather than low-fat or fat-free dairy because the fat increases satiety, improves the absorption of fat soluble vitamins, helps to keep the blood sugar steady, and for those who are trying to conceive, might reduce the risk of ovulatory infertility when compared to reduced fat and fat-free options. I think non-dairy alternatives can be a great option for people who have dairy allergies or intolerances, avoid it for ethical reasons, or just prefer the taste. It's not inherently "healthier" though.
Thanks for the awesome video! If possible would appreciate some tips/ diet recommendations for someone suffering from endometriosis and trying to conceive 🙏🏻❤️
I have a few videos on the channel on fertility nutrition. The foundational principles are the same for people with and without endo. I’d start here: ua-cam.com/video/UhMvt33MymM/v-deo.html

You bring up such an important topic: food access. When funds are low it can require a bit more creativity to eat in a way that feels supportive of you. I hope this podcast episode gives you some ideas: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/food-heaven-podcast/id1041814489?i=1000552669689 Another thing to remember: while nutrition is important, it’s not the only thing that impacts our wellbeing. Are there free or low cost physical and mental health supporting activities you can prioritize? Sleep? Dance, yoga, walking, or other forms of movement? Listening to calming music? Slow, intentional breathing? Meditation? Prayer? I’m rooting for you and wishing you all the best. 😊
That's an important thing to know. I hope you and your providers have been able to pinpoint why you're not ovulating and address the underlying reason.

@@mahichannel2431 Hi there! There are so many reasons someone might not be ovulating. HI there. My website, www.livefertile.com, has a contact form as well as information about how to work with me one-on-one. Please head there if you'd like to discuss working together or if you have a general question.
