Did anyone really expect BJ and the rest of his despicable entourage to really tell the truth. They are all trying to cover their own arses come what may.
The boy-in-the-crowd analogy was correct, though. In the story, everyone could see that the emperor had no clothes, they were not physically blinded. They simply all went along with the official version, individually thinking "if everyone else see clothes and I don't, there's a greater probability that I'm the only idiot than I'm the only smart person here."
When you see a whole bunch of highly educated people, that you've been trained to view as your betters, talk positively of BoJo for months and months, you might end up trusting them more than your own (correct) perception of the lies, the mess, the corruption, the cheating.
He gets away with it the exact same way you do James
Cultish is a mild word for it!
Watching him lie about his phone factory reset was like watching a 7 year old lie. Disgusting. And he will never be held to any kind of account for it.
Stop calling this over-privileged oaf a man !!!! He's an insult to real men.
It's quite simple. Outlaw lying. Make it a criminal offence.
Not one shred of decency left.
11:34 those things you list, saying that we're raised to believe are important - rules, obligations, standards etc - I think we know that Stanley Johnson taught his kids that these are merely impediments to be sidestepped on the way to success. And I suspect Eton reinforced that belief.
Just watched SKY summarising. Practically echoing all pro Boris excuses.
"How does Boris get away with the lies?" - the same way you do, James, the same way you do...
Any decent psychologist would probably tell you that is why James is so obsessed with Johnson. Projection.
Of course Boorish knows best he went to Eton
More like he went to the circus, after all he is known as a ‘clown’
Boaris 🐷
Eton

@@MrTSK27 thanks I corrected the spelling
Now here's the thing, if someone told me my work phone had certainly had a factory reset while I was using it without my knowledge I'd have summoned a bit more emotional engagement to that news...... But he was Prime Minister so you'd think something dangerously nefarious had occured. More so when he says he got another phone because of a security breach.
If they broke the law why aren't they investigated by the police like a member of the public would be?
