I strongly agree with you. I’ve only ever seen him in smile 2 and some other movie, but I have to say, he really is a great actor. The way he portrayed a druggy going through something was so realistic. He’s crazy and slapping his face one second then the next he’s cold and not there and bashing his face in. He’s amazing, would love to see more of him. Maybe as a main character?
@@WatchMitchWatch american sniper, a nightmare on elm street (2010), jennifers body, the haunting in connecticut, the passenger, scream 6 for a moment, strange darling, red eye for a moment too. hes done a lot!
I gotta give it to the creators of this movie, they made it seem so real in terms of a global pop sensation aesthetics and the other side of fame. Plus, it features some certified bops, I even had to add all of the songs to my playlist. I’m into both pop music and horror movies and it turned out to be the best combo for me.
NAOMI SCOTT for best actress oscar! She was incredible! =) I LOVED the scene where the smiling dancers (the dancers from their first dance scene in the film) attack her in her apartment. So creepy. The biggest scream came when the mother all of a sudden was the smile demon. And I'm really glad the director stuck with practical effects as much as he could. It was really fun to see in the theater.
Unfortunately that won’t happen, but yes she was very good! That scene with the dancers was wild! The whole movie I was calling for the mum to be the demon, and then my wish was granted 🕺
i can’t tell if you were aware that the guy who passes it to skye is the one who had it accidentally passed to him at the start after witnessing joel murder the drug dealers
Hell yeah, our favorite Aussie is back! Don't you dare staying away from us for such a long time again, you annoyingly handsome hunk from down unda! Loved Smile 2 as much (if not more) as the first. There really is franchise potential right there and I hope it won't stop so soon. If it can give you some ideas, here are some movies you'd probably enjoy and that I'd love to see you react to: Similar to Smile: The Ring, The Puppetman, Truth or Dare, The Grudge 1 & 2 Similar to Scream: I Know What You Did Last Summer 1 & 2, Urban Legend 1 & 2, Thanksgiving, Founders' Day General recommendations: The Amityville Horror (2005), X, Circle, Stream, Friday the 13th (Remake), Abigail, Funhouse, Under Paris
It’d be so great to see you react to “Orphan” (2009) PLEASE 🙏🏻 Hope you haven’t seen it yet. It’s one of the best horrors in the history of cinema with one of the most unexpected twists in the end leaving you absolutely shocked and flabbergasted. P.S. Get well soon! 🫶🏻
In the first 1 it only transfers if your there in person not through video. But of course it's all fictional so the director can just tweak the rules if he wants.
@ Yeah but this time they were watching it live, perhaps it affects you through a screen if it’s happening exactly at that moment. If it’s recorded it doesn’t affect you. That’s just my theory though. The only thing that’s for certain is that only the audience got infected. It makes sense if you connect the dots. I mean the entity said to Skye ‘I’ve been waiting for you for such a long time.’ So the entity was waiting for someone very famous so that it can spread globally perhaps
Yeah, movie wasn't terrible. Got a few jumps outa me. Those pits though... got quite a bit more. Best channel to come across in a long time. Edit: Also, 100% in agreement with post credit final thoughts. You need to have the boys take a breath before closing shop. Makes it seem less, abrupt and immediate. It doesn't need to be a Harvard publication. Little giving goes a very long way and is appreciated by most more often than not.
Liked the opening. Naomi Scott was really good. As well as the other actors. Some of the plot stuff was off. But good expanding the action from the first movie. They went bigger, but I think they had too after the first movie. This had the dread but I liked it more in the first one. More intense than scary. I did cringe every time the dude smashed his face with the weight plate! But couldn't look away! 😁
I’m not really too into the whole “did it really happen thing”. I feel it went too far here. But just my opinion. I enjoyed the movie. And I creeped me out.
I don’t see Lady Gaga in her at all. It’s a stretch. To me she’s a mix of Miley Cyrus from 2013-2014 in terms of her edgy looks, and even her name Skye Riley is basically a paraphrase of Miley Cyrus’s name, sounds very similar, and Ariana Grande in terms of her voice and singing manner.

No offense but the first Smile was completely forgettable SHITE next to this one....especially if you watched this in the theatre. NO comparison. Naomi Scott's performance is off the charts.
That one shot opening with Kyle Gallner is amazing. I wish horror movies didn't love to kill him off so much lol

it's so ridiculous how the academy ignores the horror genre, some of the best performances of the year are always in horror movies
@ 100% like Lupita in Us and Toni in Hereditary
Naomi Scott nailed that role, loved her performance. Also her American accent was impeccable despite her being originally British.
