@@kdizzle901 I think Amazon plans on producing The Boys until it stops making money. So, that's why we have so many new villains being introduced. So, Ryan, HL, Soldier Boy, and Nueman are all hurdles the team will have to contend with. There is a supe war in the comics with Homelander and his own army of loyals He's got his supporters and The Deep, who is powerful and surprisingly competent. He's never really failed at anything he was told to do.
Good soldiers follow orders. Wtf do they want Soldier Boy to do? He literally went out there to do what he was told by Butcher to do, why not kill Homelanders spawn as well, Soldier Boy was NOT in the wrong if you ask me.
Tbf his dead wife promised him to care of a boy ..who is growing up He is still a kid...(i think in the end he will realize that butcher is right...and who knows...he might be the one to kill homelander) That's why butcher gave into his emotions.. showing the human side On the other hand soldier boy and homelander are different...cause homelander is not a kid ....and has killed multiple people...and deserves to die
Good soldiers can decipher right from wrong , not blindly follow what they're told. People who do that are sheep and become demonized and traumatized from just "following orders" this is coming from someone who has a military background and someone whos had friends and family serve. Ive seen the end result of both idealogies and the ones who can think for themselves typically end better off. At the end of the day Ryan was defending his father as any child would in that situation. If anything butcher and HL acted appropriately because any parent wouldn't care about the reason you attacked their child they'd just retaliate especially at the age Ryan is.

Kimiko is my favorite. She is so sweet and so badass at the same time. If any character needs to make it through the whole show with a happy ending, it's her.
Boys is a series where I actually have no idea who to support in certain situations which just goes to show how brilliant the writing truly is. Epic show!
Butcher in the comics put together an amazing plan to get rid of all the Supes all at once at one point. I feel right now since they have a ticking clock of about a year to 18 months this is where his master plan will come in to play
Compared to Stormfront and Homelander, Soldier Boy didn’t come across as that villainous, I hope he comes back! It didn’t really make a ton of sense the team didn’t use the opportunity to get rid of Homelander when they could have…
@@estebanbr7596 There's a difference between being disappointed in your kid for dropping out of college vs being disappointed in them for being a murderous, narcissistic megalomaniac that is trying to take over the world.
@@estebanbr7596 Soldier Boy was going to kill Homelander as part of the deal he made with Butcher, it wasn't like he was just randomly attacking him. His Grandson attacked him first and he just pushed him out of the way.
The ending I swore. I was shouting the f word because JESUS. The actor who plays Ryan has done splendid. Also Meave proving why she's been my favorite character since Season 1
Your reaction was First to the Party on my feed today and it was Glorious!!! I'm wondering if anyone else noticed the striking resemblance between Ryan in his final scene and the kid on the cover of the Rage Against The Machine album?
Starlight's secondary power is her wheels. When you step into her dope car everybody immediately starts spilling the beans telling her their lifestory and secrets. MM, Hughie... Also...do you say "is her wheels" or "are her wheels" when subject word(power) is singular? Such questions irk my eurotrash mind!!!
The ending was such a great parody on a trump quote that I'm wondering how many people even picked up on it. "'I could shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters'". This was a great way to continue making fun of that fan base in such a subtle way.
Loved this finale. I don’t get how people don’t understand why ryan did what he did. It made sense Ryan chose his father. Butcher pushed him away earlier during the season when he promised he would be there. But besides that loved Maeve in this episode and Jensen Ackles killed it as Soldier Boy. Especially during the fight. Sucks Noir died but Hopefully he returns next season and he’s stronger. Hope they kill Homelander soon as well.
A spin-off show has been confirmed & cast. The plot revolves around new "heroes" that are attending Vought-sponsored colleges, and these heroes are trying to get sponsored/drafted to the major SuperHero groups.
I’m definitely conflicted on soldier boy. He’s definitely an asshole, but the fact that he’s played by Jensen Ackles makes me want him around all of the time.
Now you guys need to do Gen V. It's directly connected to the Boys and there's going to be some crossover plotlines and characters by the time season 4 of The Boys starts up again. I didn't know if I'd like a spinoff, but it was SO GOOD!
i was disappointed season 3 didn't introduce Tek Knight even tho they mentioned him a couple of times which means he is part of this world. I don't think the world is ready for Tek Knight he is a SUPER CRAZY VERSION of Tony Stark. hope they introduce him in season 4
I love how they completely turned the table in season 3 with Ryan. In the ending of season 2, Homelander was defeated, while Butcher walked away with his son. Whereas in this season, it's the Butcher who lost the most...like fucking literally!
Legit I think the boys are dumb AF for doing that. Homelander is the ultimate threat and they wanted to take out SB for what? They call him a racist and a murderer but wtf is Homelander?
@@TheYoungGun444 Homelander is the only one who can stop SB and SB is the only one who can stop SB, hard to believe but Homelander is not a racist or a murder (well, he not commit murder for fun like SB), even Noir knows that.
So, if soldier boy blast can't kill maeve, it won't kill homelander, but maybe can take his powers off. Maybe to redeem homelander at the end of the show, dying as a normal human, to save Ryan of becoming what his father was?
Butcher really went "I hate all supes but if Soldier Boy threatens to depower Ryan then its just a step too far". Makes no sense. Also I really wanted Maeve to deal some lasting damage to Homelander before going out. Would be neat for him to have at least a scar after that fight.
Ryan is like his father Growing up isolated but Ryan at least had his mother a moral compass the only person who loved him then his world got flipped upside down when he found out his father was a famous superhero very strong. Then after the death of his mother he is isolated again with no friends no family to really look after him no real family in anyway and all he had was a link of butcher them and butcher cut that tie by saying what he said to him about Rebecca that line was forever severed. Then home later arrives and says no matter what I will always love you giving him the validation he needs having someone in this world who loves him no matter what in return Ryan will return that love but this makes everything more dangerous because to keep that love Ryan seems like he’ll do anything to make his father proud. This narrative is shown through our homeland is family Soulja Boy being a disappointment to his father then homeland or being a disappointment to Soldier Boy and then in their initial meeting Ryan being a disappointment to Homelander. Ryan smiles because these people are cheering his father in a way they are cheering him
It doesn't make sense for me that Butcher prevented Soldier Boy from attacking Homelander, okay his son got in the way but it had already been established that Soldier Boy's radioactive reaction didn't kill Sups, it just took away their powers, so Homelander and Ryan would have been left without powers, better for everyone. And how could Maeve survive the fall if her powers were gone?
Ashley will die eventually because Homelander does not like when people lie and cover up stuff; Homelander will eventually find out what Ashley did concerning maeve. He always find outs.
There are degrees of deception that he can stand. Ashley is an annoying worthless human in Homelander's eyes but she's a useful pawn. Homelander his whole life has just wanted to be loved and Noir, his only true friend, hiding that he had a potential family is the ultimate betrayal in his eyes.
@@hulkie76 Like I said, it's people that Homelander loves betraying him that hurts him the most. Ashley is expendable but she is a useful tool and Homelander knows she will stay in line. Also Ashley hasn't betrayed Homelander like Black Noir or Madeline, she's just incompetent.
I think queen maeve will return since they showed an example of how a supe can lose power from the nuclear blast from SB and yet regain the same powers back again (kimiko) so that explains how Maeve will return. Also it was shown that Grace Mallory was present where SB was contained. She will bring SB back to finish off Homelander and Ryan now that they both are together and Ryan's morality is getting lost due to Homelander. Finally, do you really think Black Noir died? It was shown that his brain was split in two and squished like a pulp by soldier boy (in the animated scene where he recalls his past with his imaginary friends). He still survived. Even Homelander just showed his helmet instead of his head or body before Deep and A Train. I think he later went and saved him, so that he might help him later on to take down SB since he didn't know if SB would be on his side or not so maybe he just saved him as a backup.
Yeah, Frenchie and MM had bad blood between them in the past... but that was before MM found out why Frenchie dropped the ball when it came to what happened to Mallory's grandkids. He knows now that it was just because Frenchie went to save his friend's life.
I realize that Black Noir imaginary friends are another version of his teammates, like the eagle/soldier boy, the chicken/mindstorm,... etc. For a person who has mental issues, they usually see people around them as another version of them,...like the one that they love you, being good with you, supporting you...etc, while the real them are not.
It drives me crazy how surprised ppl get when they see Maeve throw the sleeping gas that’s specific to soldier boy out the window and break MM’s gun because she was the one who told butcher that soldier boy was a lead to killing homelander
My favorite scene was Homelander and Butcher working together with lazer eyes. But my theory is Ryan is gonna take after his grandfather and be more and more like Soldier Boy. And then in the end it wil have to be Homelander himself who will have to stop or destroy Ryan.😳😶
You aren’t gonna find a better season of TV than The Boys Season 3. This was absolutely phenomenal! They set the bar high for themselves for Season 4. What they did with Soldier Boy’s story was masterful. Antony Starr deserves every single award to be thrown at him. You will not find better acting than him. Also, I don’t think people are giving Karl Urban enough credit for his work this season. His character development was amazing. The way they kind of broke his character down and built him back up was awesome. Butcher’s biggest mistake this season though was pushing Ryan away in order to “protect” him, ended up pushing Ryan further into Homelander’s arms. You can genuinely see that Homelander does care about Ryan. I think the only weak character this season was The Deep. He literally had no reason existing this season except for shock value. My biggest issue with this episode was A-Train. His story has been good this season but I was bummed that he didn’t show up in the final fight. You saw the look on his face, looking at Noir’s helmet after Homelander killed him. He even had the balls to give A-Train crap for killing Blue Hawk RIGHT AFTER he killed Noir. I really was hoping for a good wrap up of A-Train’s arc this season, so maybe next season they will put him on the war path?
Homelander lasers a guy again in front of a crowd but this time it isn’t in his head. Ironically people cheer for him even though he murdered a man right in front of them. This ties back to homelander saying I show people the real me and they love me for it. He was afraid of how people would react to his real self and yet they still cheer. Todd cheers for homelander and other join in as if they needed validation. Homelander also craves validation. Homelander killed the “enemy” so that muder was ok. In his interviews homelander pedals the notion of the infamous them. Who is the “them” or “they”? Anyone who is not with “us”. They can be whoever we need them to be. The homelander fans might cheer but the rest of the world may not making the us vs them narrative grow.
I wouldn't count out Black Noir just because his face never healed. We have no idea if his body can regenerate over time. Also, I think Edger is still his friend and had maybe drugs given to him. I think we will still get that Noir and Homelander fight like in the comics in a surprise or they will have new Black Noir and that is the clone of the original Noir but with Soldier Boy skin.
That "powerup" with starlight was so pointless lol, I thought she was going to burn a hole through Soliderboy they way they were building that up and then she just pushes him over.
My prediction in season 1, as futile as predictions are with The Boys, was that Ryan will be the one to kill Homelander to end the series. They could make it hopeful, with Ryan turning back to the light side so to speak, or keep it dark, with Ryan poised to be even worse. Either way could be fun.
I didn't think about it when I first watched it, but watching this I thought that Ashley is on borrowed time because she deleted that footage AND Other Ashley was there and saw it who will undoubtedly sell out Ashley. Amending my statement since I looked at it again, that wasn't Other Ashley, it was the Data Analytics woman. She probably saw the footage and took it to Ashley and Ashley made an executive decision. So, I THINK Maeve should be safe, but you never know with Homelander. Next season he may find her and kill her outta spite, especially since she took away his chance to harvest her super-eggs.
Glad Hughie didn’t die but I’m still kinda worried for him in the next season, cos he’s taken four doses of temp v and I don’t think he threw away that last vial...
@@TheYoungGun444 right? The finale seems off a little bit. Now Butcher has cancer. Neuman's a VP. HL is still roaming freely and Ryan became the second psycho🤣 While Maeve just lost her powers. And SB will probably become a lab rat again. Sheeeshh.

Your video intro music sounds sooo familiar! Is it a song?? Please tell me. Hahahaha. That said… this is such a really giod ending to season 3. Better than season 2!
It's too bad that Maeve and Black Noir was mostly sidelined this season, and even worse BN was killed. I wonder if they can clone him for the future? Looking forward to Vic The Veep next season! If you check out the Vought International channel, they did a series of in universe news magazines to prep the audience for Season 3, and they did mention the Godolkin University, so presumably this is going to be the college based spinoff they announced last year which will feature the G-Men, a loose parody of the X-Men
Holy shit... so much happened. But I'm not sure what to think about the end. Soldier Boy could still go after Homelander instead of Ryan! And Mauve could have used that nerve gas! And... no way so many of them would cheer at what Homelander did. They better not ignore the fact that MOST people will not be ok with that shit. But it seems we're getting something I've been missing, the full team going after other supes.
idk bout that noir death tho, meave can take on homelander but couldnt take on noir in season 2? It took butcher, Hughie and soldier boy to even pin homelander.
I think what a lot of people are missing in the show are the parallels to real life. Homelander is Trump and he now has a minority of vocal supporters just like the real thing.

I understand they need Homelander for the next season but they could've been a better reason as to why he's still alive

Good soldiers follow orders. Wtf do they want Soldier Boy to do? He literally went out there to do what he was told by Butcher to do, why not kill Homelanders spawn as well, Soldier Boy was NOT in the wrong if you ask me.
Tbf his dead wife promised him to care of a boy ..who is growing up
He is still a kid...(i think in the end he will realize that butcher is right...and who knows...he might be the one to kill homelander)
That's why butcher gave into his emotions.. showing the human side
On the other hand soldier boy and homelander are different...cause homelander is not a kid ....and has killed multiple people...and deserves to die

Butcher in the comics put together an amazing plan to get rid of all the Supes all at once at one point. I feel right now since they have a ticking clock of about a year to 18 months this is where his master plan will come in to play

The ending was such a great parody on a trump quote that I'm wondering how many people even picked up on it. "'I could shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose any voters'". This was a great way to continue making fun of that fan base in such a subtle way.
What a season!
Now, we wait for Season 4.
Imagine if Noir returns but in the way that he's a clone of Homelander like he was in the comics.
ryans smile at the end. im scared for him now
Honestly this episode I was against the boys like I was for soldier boy winning
Yah ,he was Legit.
Soldier boy was a complete asshole. He deserved what happened to him.
Legit I think the boys are dumb AF for doing that. Homelander is the ultimate threat and they wanted to take out SB for what? They call him a racist and a murderer but wtf is Homelander?
@@TheYoungGun444 Legit was Soldier Boy
@@TheYoungGun444 Homelander is the only one who can stop SB and SB is the only one who can stop SB, hard to believe but Homelander is not a racist or a murder (well, he not commit murder for fun like SB), even Noir knows that.
The fact that even Homelander, as messed up as he is, was shocked that they cheered him on.
So, if soldier boy blast can't kill maeve, it won't kill homelander, but maybe can take his powers off.
Maybe to redeem homelander at the end of the show, dying as a normal human, to save Ryan of becoming what his father was?
Pretty sure it was just ment to take away Homelander's power. Then they can kill him however they want.
1:54 Dude, tell me that was a Cannibal: the Musical reference!
Holy shit, you actually caught that! 🤣
I was gonna put in footage from the scene but figured it would be too deep cut.
Ryan smiles because these people are cheering his father in a way they are cheering him
It is true. Homeland is always starving for attention The soldier boy is right

@@LatetotheParty It's gonna be stuck in my head for a week...but it's totally worth it. "Tu-NAH!"
@@juice6521 Didn't he kill Madeline and Black Noir for hiding things from him? Ashley is expendable.
My favorite part is when Jubilee shows up and forces Soldier Boy to squint...
Dazzler
You do know that black noir will return next season with the same actor but he's playing a different character inside the suit
Soldier Boy that only one that follow the deal
Yeah, Frenchie and MM had bad blood between them in the past... but that was before MM found out why Frenchie dropped the ball when it came to what happened to Mallory's grandkids. He knows now that it was just because Frenchie went to save his friend's life.
Maeve gives robin energy from how I met your mother
I realize that Black Noir imaginary friends are another version of his teammates, like the eagle/soldier boy, the chicken/mindstorm,... etc. For a person who has mental issues, they usually see people around them as another version of them,...like the one that they love you, being good with you, supporting you...etc, while the real them are not.
It drives me crazy how surprised ppl get when they see Maeve throw the sleeping gas that’s specific to soldier boy out the window and break MM’s gun because she was the one who told butcher that soldier boy was a lead to killing homelander
I'm gonna miss Maeve, she was my favorite.
I hope soldier boy isn't dead. He's EASILY my favorite and most relatable character in the whole show.
He's not dead. They clearly show that in the episode.
homelander and brightburn taking over
My favorite scene was Homelander and Butcher working together with lazer eyes.
I mean he threw a bottle at his son,any parent would be upset and will resort to violence because that's their child.
Varsity is the next spinoff with Schwarzeneggers son.
Soldier boy was the only one that kept up his part of the deal.
Imagine starlight with an arc reactor
