@@DelusionalNYC I mean basically the boys are back to square 1. Everything they worked so hard for this season went to waste. I liked the finale. Could’ve been a bit different but regardless, season 4 has been green lighted. So let’s hope for the best
I'm personally happy, but the thing is most of the new content this season also ended this season. V24, Soldier Boy, etc. have the potential to come back but not much really developed, especially considering how everyone thought this would be the season that Homelander went full-on unapologetic serial killer. Also a lot of people wanted a Homelander vs. Soldier Boy fight, which they didn't exactly get, and for Noir to get more development. Knowing this show since we don't see his corpse honestly he could be fine considering he survived getting his brains punched out, but it's not likely. The episode definitely wrapped up the generational trauma and toxic masculinity themes for this season very well though, and the fight scenes were pretty great
I get the impression that Maeve has always been roughly on a par with Homelander, but Vought just never gave her the chance to prove it. Homelander always had to believe he was the strongest and the best, so every single other member of the Seven had to take a backseat.
Noir has to come back. No way they gave him that much development recently just to throw him away. He's been screwed over by basically everybody he ever listened to, I won't be surprised if he snaps. Also saw someone suggest his power might include not being able to be killed. I mean we say his head open, brains splattered everywhere and he still survived. WAIT what if "God" resurrects Noir, like Jesus lol. Feels weird how his squirrel friend went religious all of sudden with how he'll "soon be in the sweet embrace of Christ the lord". lmao nah that ones a stretch
@@dennisrodmanburner7348 you never know the writers can easily bring him back. They could just make him the equivalent to Deadpool with a incredibly fast healing factor. Deadpool got blown up, ripped apart and died in so many gruesome ways and always come back. Noirs powers are still a mystery. But who knows might be a reach and he might be dead asf lmao
I've never read the comics, but I'm really praying that this season DEFINITIVELY changed A-Train. I knew when he invited Blue Hawk it would go to shit again as always because he only thinks of himself. I'm praying he's finally opened his eyes because The Boys could use a speedster/infiltrator member
Noir is for sure not dead.He is one of the oldest and was shown in animation in ep7 that he survived SB attack losing even his brain and for sure Vought will do anything they can to rescue him.
Just so you know, the brune girl with Ashley at the end was NOT Ashley 2.0, it was that one girl (whom we don't even know the name of for that matter) we've been seeing from season 1 that works on Crime Analytics. She's mostly just been a joke character but she's also seemed nice and morally good for what we've seen, and maybe she'll grow into an actual character next season ?
Just finished it and I can with absolute certainty this season is a masterpiece. There is nothing in the season that I didn't like. A wild and wonderful ride with so many twists and huge moments. Season 4 is going be just as crazy if not crazier I am eagerly waiting for it
If I had any complaints it's just that I wish we'd gotten more Noir. They made him really interesting to season with his ties to Soldier Boy and his backstory and his animal friends. Was bummed that he died 😔
I feel like everyone on this show deserves an award. Including Noir 😭 lots of heart stopping moments this episode but this is the best show streaming right now. I will miss it 😢 💔
Seems like Eric Kripke actually "confirmed" that Noir could easily come back, but the way he hinted at it was more like being a "re-cast" which seems weird to me since it seems like he hinted at Nathan Mitchell still playing the character. Maybe a clone of Noir, without the scars and even stronger? Idk.
Possibly just another supe under the costume, covering for the fact that Noir is dead. I'd be willing to bet that when Homelander unveils his new team, there'll be a new Noir in it, and we'll all be speculating on who it really is.
Okay, I was waiting on Blind Waves reaction to say this. Was going to wait & see what they said. But maybe I'm missing something. Why the hell is everyone acting like Soldier Boy is even remotely comparable to Homelander in levels or evil? Soldier Boy has never, that we've seen, killed an innocent person on purpose. Even MM's family thing sounds accidental. And while reading this please keep in mind, I'm not saying SB is a hero. I'm saying he's no where NEAR Homelander's level of bad. Even his sexism & shit isn't nearly as bad as HL. HL is WAY more racist than SB is ever shown to be. SB beat up Noir & that was bad, HL fucking MURDERED Super Sonic. He forced a girl to kill herself! He murdered Madison & murder stared her baby all the time. He fucking RAPED Becca! I'm not even scratching the surface, Remember the Airplane? Or what about him murdering the hostages during episode 8 of Diabolical which is canon to this show? Or the guy he & Stormfront murdered? Or the fact that he dated Stormfront after finding out about her Nazi past & how fucked she was. SB has done NOTHING that tops any of those things. And I'm not even convinced that Legend guy was telling the truth about SB not being a real part of D-Day. Stan said Soldier Boy fought Nazi's & young Stan said he was a tested warrior. Both of those were in relative private situations where Stan didn't need to lie. Especially when he told Homelander about SB. SB has done nothing but be a fucking BEAST this entire time. He never gets scared of a fight. During the flashback while the rest of Payback was bumbling around he was actually wrecking the enemy. Even when he starts to lose a fight he doesn't get scared like when HL got the edge on him in Herogasm. He still kept fighting & was still ready to kill HL after that. He faced Down HL in this episode without a fear in the world. He literally whooped everyone's ass this episode. It took all of them to barely hold him after a long fight. And he seemed to actually care about the Afgan situation when talking to Hughie. He seemed pretty genuine to me when he said he didn't mean to kill/hurt the people in midtown. SB is not a Villain in my opinion. Matter fact Both Homeland AND Butcher are worse people than him. He didn't straight up kill MM during their first encounter. He didn't start killing everyone when they confronted Butcher this episode at the hideout. He literally recognizes that HL is evil & didn't side with him. Again, SB isn't a Saint. He might not even be a good guy. But he's not EVIL like Homelander. He's not even bad like Butcher. I just don't understand why so many Reactors are acting like SB was the worst person ever. Edit: And lets not forget that SB was ultimately right in the end. Ryan literally smirked at HL killing that guy. Sure the dude threw something but it was pretty fucking obvious the kid was a supe & wouldn't die or get hurt. Even if Ryan turns good again later SB would've been right to have killed HL this episode even if Ryan died or got hurt in the effort.
Bro how this episode ended had me thinkin how fucked the boys are now if Ryan keeps going on this path of his father. Hoping MM eventually tries V and Butcher gets perma V
I have thought this too. MM made Soldier Boys attack on his family out to be racially motivated but it always seemed more like what happened to Robin. (A unnecessary accident) His belief in his righteous anger at SB irritated me because he has no sympathy for Butcher’s anger at Homelander.
New episode should be. 'The revenge of Soilder boy' where he gets a new suit that let him control his blast. And he gets to shoot it without a charge up.
Why is everyone feeling bad for BN? I guess y'all just forget all the evil shit he did? Like killing a bus full of kids? Also, Ryan told Homelander he wanted to go to save Butcher. How are people not getting this?
Because he was abused and beaten senseless by Soldier Boy, probably for years. He was traumatized by it, and the one time he tried to stand up for himself he almost died, ended up scarred and lost the ability to speak. The entirety of episode 7 was leading to him finishing what he started, so it is a bit underwhelming that he didn't even get to actually face Soldier Boy...
@@RueLangston it is underwhelming, but why people sympathize with him and feel bad for him? I couldn't care less if he died and I didn't, it's like feeling bad for homelander cuz he was raised in a lab, cool but now he kills people cuz why not
My theory on noir is he’s like deadpool, so no matter what happens to him, he’ll always heal, like when soldier boy smashed his head in, or like when deadpool tried killing himself all those times in deadpool 2. It’d make sense for him plus it’d mean he’s not dead which is really what I want, since he’s easily my fav character along with soldier boy and deep.
Would’ve been nice to get a bit more with A-train, after seeing what happened after blue hawk. Seemed like he was finally turning the corner but after getting blue hawks heart he went right back into his slimy ways, I felt like after seeing his brother in the wheelchair would have cemented it for him but it didn’t so it just seemed like that story didn’t really go anywhere if he’s gonna go right back to where he started
Homelander lasers a guy again in front of a crowd but this time it isn’t in his head. Ironically people cheer for him even though he murdered a man right in front of them. This ties back to homelander saying I show people the real me and they love me for it. He was afraid of how people would react to his real self and yet they still cheer. Todd cheers for homelander and other join in as if they needed validation. Homelander also craves validation. Homelander killed the “enemy” so that muder was ok. In his interviews homelander pedals the notion of the infamous them. Who is the “them” or “they”? Anyone who is not with “us”. They can be whoever we need them to be. The homelander fans might cheer but the rest of the world may not making the us vs them narrative grow.
I kind of don't know how to feel about this finale it seems like they're right back where they started. Except now they have two Homelander's so the season almost feels like kind of a waste.
Feel like it’s only gonna get crazier, this is the real game of thrones but only superheroes vs vigilantes, this is the set up for the season 4 downward spiral into madness
That is such an absolutely brain dead take. Did you even watch the last 7 episodes? You're now calling it all pointless because Homelander didn't die and the show didn't end this very episode? I literally don't even understand these takes at all. It's honestly baffling how you guys are coming up with these thoughts. Have any of you ever watched a single television show before?
Ok this ending pissed me off. Butcher in one fell swoop undid everything that him and the boys have been working towards for the last 3 seasons. If maeve was able to survive soldier boy exploding when she was literally hugging him then there's no reason why ryan couldn't survive so basically soldier boy got betrayed by the boys twice for no reason 😡
Maeve was super strong that’s the only thing that saved her same with yumiko some sups can withstand or aren’t powerful enough to survive the backlash from soldier boys attacks
Why would Butcher assume that? He was at Herogasm where that same attack killed like a dozen supes...yes Ryan is strong, but a hit from Soldier boy shortly after basically knocked him out and gave him a cut
for next season, i want to see tek knight(who is a spin off on iron man/batman ) be introduced, hes also somewhat really powerful. since he can also travel to space ,they could also introduced jack from Jupiter, which is an alien hero. A fricken alien! that would be crazy. also what if they made a "The young seven"
It doesn’t make sense that Maeve is still alive. Yeah she’s a superhero BUT she took a Soldier Boy blast what 90 stories up at least and it takes away your powers and leaves you burnt up or just straight up dead. She would be Human after his blast so she shouldn’t be alive. A Human can’t survive a fall like that.
Noir definitely isn't dead, he's survived worse and they gave him so much development. I think Homelander will be willing to forgive him after his interaction with Soldier Boy, BUT I think Noir will now have Homelander on his hitlist or after the events of S4. People had their problems with the finale and yeah there's a couple plot farts, like whats the point of even getting the Novichok if it gets thrown out of a window anyway, or how does Maeve survive the fall/explosion, the whole fiasco with Ryan during the fight. I do think it really sets up S4 to knock it out of the park with a nice team reset and Neuman in power.
Time for Butcher to accept his fate (and addiction) and take the Compound V to become the most powerful of THE BOYS. It's the only way to end this. They failed to deliver one thing this season. BUTCHER v. HOMELANDER.
I do wish Noir was given more chances to be something in this show especially this season given his important role. Other than that, I loved this season and can't wait for season 4
Yeah I feel really bad for noir. I'm sure he's not like a pure good guy but he was painted as somebody that wasn't a bad guy in this season. He got bullied brutally by soldier boy. His story is pretty sad Ngl. Dude can't talk cause he literally doesn't have a brain. Unless they put it back in but I figured he doesn't have it anymore
I feel bad for soldier boy.. butcher talked him into killing his son and he held up his end of the bargain but when it came down to Ryan, butcher draws the line.. now they’re back at square one😂🤦🏾♂️
I mean, Soldier Boy was extremely abusive and basically lacked self awareness of how terrible he really was as seen how he was surprised by his team betraying him, he ain’t any better than Homelander
All those savageness but couldnt take the right decision in the end. Soldier boy was right. Butcher was weak. Forgot all the sacrifices and struggles they made to come to that point and blew it in a moment.
@@dollmaker6599 yeah true but he’s the only hope they had at getting rid of homelander (for now atleast) and then they could’ve figured out what to do with him (soldier boy).
That boy Ryan is a good actor. In that last moment, he looked more sinister than Homelander ever has. All with a smirk. Reminds me of that boy from brightburn
ya that wasn’t the point tho lmao the point was making him not a generic comic bad guy he does have humanity in there as we saw with the mirror scene he’s a made monster which is what makes his character so morbidly fascinating
What she deserves is to be in a fucking morgue along with her girlfriend and starlight and the useless members of the boys and especially ryan that fucking brat who never fucking dies😠
Soldier Boy, like him or hate him, KEPT his end of the deal like a man of his word. Butcher absolutely fucked all the work they had done. Respect to Soldier Boy (even though he’s a piece of shit/I loved the character and Jensen Ackles).
Soldier Boy kept his end of deal because He is bad father figure. He not kept it because He is "Man of his words". He was doing it because He think Homelander is weak for caring about son, seeking attention or looking for love. Homelander is pos, who care about his son. Soldier boy is just pos.
Yup exactly soldier boy didn’t even seem like he wanted to be a hero or anything anymore he probably would have just disappeared into a cabin in the woods somewhere
Soldier boy didnt care about anything anymore and got nothing to loose so he just wanted to end his bloodline i guess. Plus if they bring him back they can either side him with the boys or make him go rouge.
It’s terrifying how there’s actual people like that in the real world that encourage and cheer people like homelander when he lasered that guy in the end just because he threw a can of soda to his kid. This show is unique. Love how dark and realistic it is.
Like how the writter wrote blue hawk to be a over the top racist to make the audiance hate him and sided with A-train, but lots of people actually agree with what blue hawk said lol.
They did Noir DIRTY. Was extremely surprised they were going that way when I heard homelanders dialogue. Saw it coming a mile away. Really wanted to see Noir at least put up a fight. Maybe zombie Noir? Who knows 🤷🏻♂️
Starlights powerup was cool, but seemed SOOOO weak for how long it took, it knocked SB like 3 meters away and he got a little shaken up, then got right back to fight like cmon. Feel like they didnt want her to defeat him right there so maeve can get her scene.
@@S_2_7 yea, but what is purpose of power up if it was barely stronger than her basic beams? I didn't want her to 1 shot him with the beam cuz that would be too easy, but put up a fight and win after some struggle.
I swear Ryan aged across this season. He literally looked older in the last episode compared to the one where he chats with Kimiko. I also feel he is going to be the one to turn on his dad maybe a season from now.
Guys, the person with Ashley 1, when deleting the video of maeve surviving, was not Ashely 2. She was the only person Deep did not fire from Supe damage control.
@Polite Man no it’s always the same boring shit some cringy kids need to stop an all powerful being in which surprise surprise they succeed without a protagonist dying …. Seriously ST is shit compared to the boys
Fantastic finale. Unfortunately, it was Butcher who left that door open. If he had not made that decision to reject Ryan (for what he perceived as his own good), Homelander would not have been able to swoop in as his father figure.
The girl who was with Ashley when she deleted the video of Maeve it’s the Ashley #2 who couldn’t go on the helipad. That’s Anika, she’s the Crime Analyst.
@@marklatham1414 if that were the case, she would've kept the footage but she didn't. She probably just wanted to bury it to prevent anymore shit with Homelander n it should stay that way. Maeve doesn't have her powers to protect anymore n she deserves her happy ending.
This is by far the best season of the show love it so much just wish we could've had more of Noir but I'm hoping he's not dead. My Ranking 1. Season 3 2. Season 1 3. Season 2
@@thealjohnsonshow2188 Season 1 is the best for me. Although 3 and 1 are very close but 1 is better because of the plot (especially the 1st 3 episodes).
What I love from Soldier Boy's speech to Homelander is that he decides to kill him because he is indeed him, a selfish megalomaniac, the same thing that made his own father say he was a disappointment. So Soldier Boy actually thinks people like them don't deserve to live, even if they are family.
Also, I think he actually loves his country and is an actual patriot as a guy who fought the nazis. He sees homelander as a threat and kind of like a nazi when he talks down to people as humans like butcher. And he wants to kill homelander because of that. And looking at the nazi like cult homelander has in the last scene. Soldier boy was right.
It actually seemed like Soldier Boy was beginning to have some self realization when Homelander said he was just like him and Soldier Boy agreed and said “yeah you’re a disappointment” it coulda been interesting to see him mature more if he could
Yeah I’m a bit disappointed that Ryan was used as a linchpin to make everyone turn on Soldier Boy. Maeve was the only one who remembered Homelander was still a threat lmao. Now it makes sense that for Butcher Ryan is off limits but they could’ve easily moved him out of the way. Soldier Boy is clearly the lesser of the two evils. It’s not like they couldn't have turned on SB the very SECOND homelander was down and taken him out, he couldn't have beaten them, especially when he's weakened post-beam or using the vapor. Also the fight itself was pretty lacklustre imo. HL largely unscathed, everyone teaming up on SB was just convenient - everyone but Maeve just forgot about HL. And Starlight’s energy surge culminated in shoving him about 5 metres away. The whole point is to take down Homelander. Don’t want Ryan to get in between? Well, 1. Get him out, hold him back and let SB etc do the job 2.Shit you’re out of luck. The plan was to take out Homelander since the start of the season and now it’s about the Vought tower even though most people have evacuated
Yes the logic behind the scene was poor. Like you said, Butcher should have just kept Ryan back but I feel like he saw how Homelander was attending to his son like he cared so maybe felt a bit of doubt about killing him for Ryan’s sake
@@Hunterese123 It just makes zero sense why butcher decided not to fight homelander. Butcher wants to protect Ryan but he is also homelander son, it’s just not going to work. He should’ve let SB kill both of them or else the same thing will happen next time they fight
The ending of the episode TOLD so much. After that applause, Homelander looked around and probably thought, "You mean to tell me I can literally kill someone in broad daylight and people will still cheer? I don't have to hid anymore!" And also that smile from his son...you know he's gonna grow up into the next Homelander lol

The episode definitely wrapped up the generational trauma and toxic masculinity themes for this season very well though, and the fight scenes were pretty great
It’s just noir fans coping…they will soon realize this was a amazing finale. The first stage is grief
This episode reminded me that Maeve is stronger than most supes, notas strong as Homelander but close in strength with Soldier Boy.
Feels weird how his squirrel friend went religious all of sudden with how he'll "soon be in the sweet embrace of Christ the lord". lmao nah that ones a stretch
you are stretching bro lmfao he’s dead
I think he's alive...
I have faith the directors wont leave his characters like that. hes survived worse. im hoping they have more in store for him next season
@@void6573 his heart was pulled out. If he survived they better have a good explanation
My favorite part was when she said "It's Maevin' time"
Noir is for sure not dead.He is one of the oldest and was shown in animation in ep7 that he survived SB attack losing even his brain and for sure Vought will do anything they can to rescue him.
That wasn’t Ashley 2 that saw the leave footage. That was the tech girl that worked with the deep
Im happy Soldier boy is still alive he was awesome during the last fight just wish he fought for the good guys though
15:26 idk why, but hearing Jensen say "F*** you!" Was so awesome
“ That was an amazing finale” they say he has all of a forces been drained out of them…
I feel like everyone on this show deserves an award. Including Noir 😭 lots of heart stopping moments this episode but this is the best show streaming right now. I will miss it 😢 💔
Are we not gonna talk about the scene with A train and his brother? So sad.
Antony Starr has got to one of the best actors in Hollywood. I felt sympathy for Homelander this episode.
This show is truly a spectacle
This is the best season i fucking loved it but my only complaint is they did noir dirty
Bro how this episode ended had me thinkin how fucked the boys are now if Ryan keeps going on this path of his father. Hoping MM eventually tries V and Butcher gets perma V
Kimiko has become my favorite character after this episode.
I really hope Noir isn't dead. He can survive explosions so I have my fingers crossed 🤞🏻 regardless of his guts hanging out..
Loved seeing homelander show some humanity this season man
Yeah, I don't think that was Also Ashley. I think it was the woman from Analytics who likes Almond Joy.
This show needs all the fucking awards man.
U catch that Sioux Falls Easter egg 🥚 to supernatural
Just noticed the actor who played Farah from Cod is in this lol
@10:00 Turns out he’s the only one you could trust to hold up their end of the deal.
I’m still unsure why MM called soldier boy racist, it was never implied that he was.
I have thought this too. MM made Soldier Boys attack on his family out to be racially motivated but it always seemed more like what happened to Robin. (A unnecessary accident)
His belief in his righteous anger at SB irritated me because he has no sympathy for Butcher’s anger at Homelander.
@@ashleynichols516 couldn’t have said it better myself
I laughed at butcher in the end. Talking another man into killing his own son and then betraying him.
This finale was ok but where was Stan Edgar? He better have a grand comeback in the next season cuz who else can stop this mess?
Love to see Stan Edgar meet soldier boy
God I love how much Maeve fucking hates Hughie :'D
I have to say this season was the best so far. Also with stranger things too. Both were epic👍🏻🤜🏻
"Stargasm" was funny asf lmaoo
New episode should be. 'The revenge of Soilder boy' where he gets a new suit that let him control his blast. And he gets to shoot it without a charge up.
Why is everyone feeling bad for BN? I guess y'all just forget all the evil shit he did? Like killing a bus full of kids? Also, Ryan told Homelander he wanted to go to save Butcher. How are people not getting this?
Thank you people seem to have forgotten about that
Because he was abused and beaten senseless by Soldier Boy, probably for years.
I couldn't care less if he died and I didn't, it's like feeling bad for homelander cuz he was raised in a lab, cool but now he kills people cuz why not
@@RueLangston Exactly, plus having part of his brain missing clearly messes with how he acts and thinks cause bud couldn’t even spell.
when tf did he kill a bus full of kids
By the way, I hope season 4 introduces Tek Knight
My theory on noir is he’s like deadpool, so no matter what happens to him, he’ll always heal, like when soldier boy smashed his head in, or like when deadpool tried killing himself all those times in deadpool 2. It’d make sense for him plus it’d mean he’s not dead which is really what I want, since he’s easily my fav character along with soldier boy and deep.
Would’ve been nice to get a bit more with A-train, after seeing what happened after blue hawk. Seemed like he was finally turning the corner but after getting blue hawks heart he went right back into his slimy ways, I felt like after seeing his brother in the wheelchair would have cemented it for him but it didn’t so it just seemed like that story didn’t really go anywhere if he’s gonna go right back to where he started
random thought: I think like Hancock, Homelanders kid makes him weaker when hes near him
The AOC character is gonna be one head-pop away from becoming president.
Butcher should've never mistreated Ryan.
@@justuscellz yeah but now the supes are going to the white house so
Yep I didn't enjoy it as much as the rest of the season unfortunately.
People keep saying this, Ryan is with Homelander, Butcher is dying, Maeve is powerless, Annie can fly and Newman is VP, how is that not change.
That last scene is a def play on Trump's words. "I could shoot someone in public and still not lose any support."
Goddamn I fucking love this show!
Good point.maeve should of died and soldier boy as well. Idk how i feel about this ending.
Maeve was super strong that’s the only thing that saved her same with yumiko some sups can withstand or aren’t powerful enough to survive the backlash from soldier boys attacks
I mean they’ve seen soldier boy kill plenty of supes, there’s 0 reason why butcher would assume a supe child would be able to survive his blast
@@OutcastYBJ worth pointing out that Ryan is just a kid and very likely not has durable, hell a single shield bash was enough to make him bleed.
A fricken alien! that would be crazy. also what if they made a "The young seven"
isn’t tek knight the one who fucks everything including an asteroid
Solider Boy was the only one who was true to his word.
So much better than Ms Marvel
Cool Story Fam.
That last part is a nightmare fuel, people cheering for the wrong things... It can literally happen in the real world.
Glad you enjoyed it. Love watching your reactions! ✊🏿😈
Time for Butcher to accept his fate (and addiction) and take the Compound V to become the most powerful of THE BOYS. It's the only way to end this. They failed to deliver one thing this season. BUTCHER v. HOMELANDER.
Disappointing finale tbh to an overall great season..
Honestly messed up but Butcher shoulda let SB take the shot. There nights been a chance Ryan coulda survived if Homelander took the full blow
Is it bad that i was looking forward more to this episode than Thor love and thunder?
Why would it be bad? XD You like what You like man.
"Brave Maeve" 🦹
I do wish Noir was given more chances to be something in this show especially this season given his important role. Other than that, I loved this season and can't wait for season 4
You know he coming back prolly as the home lander clone or he's still just alive
@Oddwolf 799 if he is it’s bad writing
In the comics Noir killed Homelander. Was also more evil than Homelander. And was the reason for Homelander going insane.
He’s not dead
I feel bad for soldier boy.. butcher talked him into killing his son and he held up his end of the bargain but when it came down to Ryan, butcher draws the line.. now they’re back at square one😂🤦🏾♂️
Fr and soldier boy is still alive and homelander the accomplished nothing
Fuck soldier boy, he tried to kill innocent kid! He's a piece of shit
Reminds me of that boy from brightburn
wouldn’t go that far but it’s definitely sinister as hell
Sooooo goood too
The actor has a identical twin. I wonder if they are gonna end up cloning Ryan.
I also remembered Brightburn's boy! That gave me chills O_o
I like how the writer did the opposite direction with Homelander as him embracing his humanity makes him more terrifying!
ya that wasn’t the point tho lmao the point was making him not a generic comic bad guy he does have humanity in there as we saw with the mirror scene he’s a made monster which is what makes his character so morbidly fascinating
As much as it pains me to say it, I hope we never see Maeve again. She deserves to live a nice calm rest of her life.
What she deserves is to be in a fucking morgue along with her girlfriend and starlight and the useless members of the boys and especially ryan that fucking brat who never fucking dies😠
The only one who remembered the goal and was an actual hero at the end - heck yeah she does.
Calm life with her wife
Soldier Boy, like him or hate him, KEPT his end of the deal like a man of his word. Butcher absolutely fucked all the work they had done. Respect to Soldier Boy (even though he’s a piece of shit/I loved the character and Jensen Ackles).
Soldier Boy kept his end of deal because He is bad father figure. He not kept it because He is "Man of his words". He was doing it because He think Homelander is weak for caring about son, seeking attention or looking for love. Homelander is pos, who care about his son. Soldier boy is just pos.
@@helloasa9296 still kept his deal
@@something7941 Yeah. Because He was basically a bad father. Like his own father.

Definitely my favourite season of the three we've had. A large part of that was Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy. Hope to see him back in S4 or S5.
@@Defaultrafale12 He didn't fought the nazis, there's an entire episode about that XD
Well,
1. Get him out, hold him back and let SB etc do the job
2.Shit you’re out of luck. The plan was to take out Homelander since the start of the season and now it’s about the Vought tower even though most people have evacuated
Now they got Homelander and Homelander Boy to deal with.
Very disappointed with this finale.
Yes the logic behind the scene was poor. Like you said, Butcher should have just kept Ryan back but I feel like he saw how Homelander was attending to his son like he cared so maybe felt a bit of doubt about killing him for Ryan’s sake
I feel you guys went in with these expectations that Homelander was gonna get bested, and now you feel cheated, just how i see it
@@Hunterese123 It just makes zero sense why butcher decided not to fight homelander.
Butcher wants to protect Ryan but he is also homelander son, it’s just not going to work. He should’ve let SB kill both of them or else the same thing will happen next time they fight
Am i the only one who thinks they lost. they lost the kid and it will be another homelander. They didn't win anything in this season
Correct. Now we have homie and brightburn.
The animals sealed the deal for me I was crying 😢
The ending of the episode TOLD so much. After that applause, Homelander looked around and probably thought, "You mean to tell me I can literally kill someone in broad daylight and people will still cheer? I don't have to hid anymore!" And also that smile from his son...you know he's gonna grow up into the next Homelander lol
