As a caravan couple (at the moment we are in the French Pyreneeën) we use ... Ducktape the most for temporary repairs. Have a nice time!
great repair on the door you could use some baking soda and superglue to reinforce the corner just put some baking soda on the corner and pat it down then drip some superglue on it it turns to plastic and you can sand it smooth afterwards

Just a heads up, Rooibos tea is pronounced phonetically “Roy-boss”, it comes from my home country South Africa 😉
It seems to me that the metal reflective side of the door should face inward, toward the freezer, unless it is intended to reflect heat outward. Weird design, for sure!

Sh*tty doors and drawer fronts in freezers and fridges are so normal it's crazy. I swear they don't even test the stuff at minus temperatures, it's so brittle.
