It is an absolutely beautiful smell. Simply gorgeous. It reminds me of a local favorite treat. There’s a smoothie seller around here called Jamba juice. They make an orange cream smoothie called an orange dreamsicle. Simply fantastic!
@@adamdar5121 It has average performance on me and that’s fine. I wouldn’t want it to be too loud or strong. It comes in and out to me but stays on the whole day. I sprayed inside my shirt and I can still smell it, very faint at the end of the day but it’s still there. So glad I picked this one up.

Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne was the one I was looking for. I am so happy that I bought about 20 samples from PDM, Xerjoff, Creed and Roja to test all of them first. It is ellegant, leathery, little bit sweet fruit scent, hard to describe, so many feelings in this and yet so simple. I absolutely love it and this is my all time favourite now. Ordered bottle immediately after testing. Received so many compliments. Used it e.g. at my work, for important meetings and it was a great successs. And longetivity? The scent should NOT be aggressive, but ellegant. This scent is for many occasions and for every part of the year. Hats off Roja, love this! And the drydown is a masterpiece.
In Australia $479. Meaning it’s at the ‘top end’ in the Niche category but the longevity, unique and oil concentration means you’ll get a lot of wear out it. Plus it’s a fragrance that will make sure you smell absolutely unique🥰
Mate I don't know what it was like 3 years ago when this review was uploaded. Today in Qld summer I get 4hrs tops. Glad I got a decant. Not worth close to 4-500 bucks. Smells great though.

I'm really looking for my next fragrance to be purchased October 2023. I do have Tiziana Terenzi Porpora as that fragrance. I live outside of Atlanta, Ga, and our Fall season to early Winters are warm to cooler. I will be working in the airport and I just want to smell amazing. Thanks for the explanation. Man i cant believe you dont have 50k subscribers !! Your presentation and review styles are perfect. To me you are a top 5 reviewer on youtube. And you add some great touches like adding the lady and josh. ... plus the reviews are unbiased and not too long... one thing i would add is this- when you review a certain fragrance i think it would be nice to say how is it compared to similiar fragrances (for example how does african leather compare with ombre leather etc?)

like your videos ! After tried several dozens of perfumes from top niche brands, tried this one and finally realize that niche perfumery is just not for me. All in all i find Elysium sparkling bubblegumy and juvenile . I can`t imagine a mature straight man wearing this . i don`t understand why some reviewers talk about similarities between Elysium and Aventus because there is none. i don`t like Aventus at all ,but at least smells manly.

Let me just say that the Parfum version of this is a BEAST! Performs like a monster. One thing that I haven't done is compared them side by side on the actual smell; but I'm going to say that they are of the same DNA. Great review , sadly just received my bottle from neiman marcus not liking it at all kinda gives me that pledge wood cleaner lemon version , also bought a flacon aventus 500 ml smells great dont last at all and nope its not nose fatige or watever is call , anyway do u think the elisium willl change over time after macerates as creed aventus is actually doing ?
As amazing of a fragrance Elysium is in it's own right I like to use it as a base to layer short lived citrus fragrances. I can take a very enjoyable yet finite citrus fragrance and extend it's noticeable aroma by hours.
I've never really explored the art of layering. I've had a few requests from subscribers to do something in this space....I feel that I need to invite someone who loves layering and get them to share/teach. And yes, I can see how Elysium would really extend the life of your favourite citrus fragrances. Thanks Casey; great to hear from you

Love the biblical reference. I was just thinking about that the other day in bible class at church when we were reading through that passage. Got my parfum version of Elysium on order. If you ever get that one to do a comparison video of the two, that would be great. There doesn't seem to be much out there on that.

Elysium is perfect for summer/spring kind of weather. Naxos is awesome as a going out fragrance or even during the cooler months…. So if you are experiencing these two weather conditions then my recommendation is to buy both😉
ordered the Roja mens winter sample box and don't like Enigma or Elysium, Scandal smells like Creed Aventus and Amber Oud smells like a cleaning solution. i've got $4500 in cologne and apparently Roja is not for me.

Awesome question! Actually, yes, is my response. I find that Aventis is a perfect cooler weather winter fragrance for me whereas Aventus Cologne sparkles better in summer, but yet has that classic Aventus DNA I hope that helps 💫
Ελυσιον means paradise in Ancient Greek. We have vibrant materials like juniper berries lime pink pepper and grapefruit. Which gives the effect of the light radiating from the man but the masculine warm materials of Vetiver benzoin and leather draw everyone in.

But if you're close to any of the capital cities, then Libertine Parfumerie have stores within Myers and they're very flexible for people to test the fragrance's in the store. Alternatively, if you're too far away, then you an go to the Libertine website and a number of the brands listed there have sample sets that you can purchase; which is a great way to now live with the perfumes (rather than just spray on the day at the store) If you're interested, Kevin (from the Oligarch Boutique in Melbourne) and I are going to do a live online session in which we will be testing/discussing 9 fragrances from 3 different perfume House's. Hey @Daniel Galarza, I haven't smelt Tom Ford's Ombre Leather, so I won't be able to give you balanced feedback. I did have a look at the notes in this fragrance and it seems a bit heavier than Elysium (notes of Oakmoss, Leather, Patchouli), but again, haven't smelt it, so don't really know. What I do know is Elysium is awesome. Have great sillage and longevity. I recently filmed a blind smell with the new guest on the show (Natasha) and she loved Elysium....but the big question! Have you tried it on your skin? Have you had a chance to smell it on you? You gotta go with what you love and makes you feel good😎

Hey brother God bless. I am a young pastor, and I’m willing to buy my first niche perfume. I’m looking for something to wear at night for church and events, and want something that smells expensive, that is noticeable to people around me, that lasts over 8 hours and that gets me lots of complements. I am 30 years old and love in Miami (humid and warm weather). So, I’m deciding between Elysium roja, creed Aventus, creed green Irish tweed and Au coeour du desert. Which one will create the most impact and give me compliments? I want to smell like the boss haha
Hey my brother, God Bless You To! Great to hear from you and I love that you clearly identified what you what the perfume to do: 1. Longevity 2. Projection 3. Compliment Getter 4. Smells Like A Boss The perfect line up! Something that everyone wants from their perfume, for sure. Regarding Elysium, because you’re in a humid location I’m not sure on it’s projection and staying power. I have a feeling that the version I’m speaking about here (the Cologne version) might evaporate too quickly. You could try the ‘Parfum’ version of this fragrance and I’m going to say it will have a lot more kick. Both Aventus and Green Irish will be winners and tick all the boxes above. However one that I would recommend you try, that also falls into the above catergory, but has it’s own unique scent profile plus it’s a ‘Parfum extract’ which means you’ll get more distance, is Hacivat by Nishane…this is an amazing fragrance and is definitely a ‘compliment getter’ Good Luck!🙌🏽 Let me know what you decide on and how it performs I’d be curious to know. I’m in Melbourne, Australia so not sure of the local retailers in the US. However I had a look on Fragrance X, and I noticed that they stock it. However I would recommend that you test first….blind buying is risky business. Hope that helps

Great to hear from you @How To Sapiens....tough question because (in my books) both are brilliant scents but serve different situations. Elysium: is subtle power. Citrus opening with a grapefruit note playing throughout the fragrance. It's fresh, summery, happy Green Irish Tweed: is the confidence maker. It makes a statement. It's about letting people know you're in the room. I find Elysium is more 'friendly' and GIT more formal Best recommendation is to test both independently and see how they speak to you and how they make you feel. Great to hear from you, good luck👊🏼

I think I have a soft spot for this fragrance. It's true that compared to some other aromatic fragrance's (like Hacivat for instance), Elysium doesn't have the same 'staying power' but I so deeply love the scent profile of this fragrance, it just makes me happy the whole time I'm wearing it. For the price, don't even think of buying Aventus, overpriced water, get yourself Elysium, Orion by Tiziani Terenzi or Nishane Hacivat, all perform better than Aventus.

This smell doesn’t really work for me. I have to massively overspray to have it last for more than 2 hours. It smells good, it’s a likable fragrance but I wouldn’t buy it again. I’ll take Oligarch over Elysium anytime.

Wow this truly is the fragrance of the gods, I also love the greek mythology! So far this is the only fragrance I've tried that I would spend that kind of money on (the extrait), I find that the extrait has more staying power and is stronger than the eau de parfum / cologne version. This is the first and only Roja Dove sample I've tried and it's one of the best perfumes I've smelled so far, so can't wait to try more from his amazing house. So cool that you've had a masterclass with Roja himself On the one hand I love this purchase but I feel kind of guilty for spending 500 euros or ~790 aud on a fragrance, how did you feel getting your first expensive Niche perfume?
Apologies for the very late response to your comment here Sem. Let me answer your last question first.....I was much deeper in my years with niche when I spent my first big dollars (incidentally with Roja also) and yes, it did feel like "what am I doing???" BUT, this is what I love🧡🧡 (and I can see this is what you love too); so for me, I get some much happiness everytime I spray and use these fragrances that I've moved on. I guess the only catch for me is to make sure not to go crazy and loose my head buying, especially if I don't have the cash for it.....but for this purchase, I was saving up for it, so it was a conscious decision. The other thing I've discovered is that "if not today, then later". At first I felt that if I didn't get the special on it, that I was going to miss out. I've discovered that there's a million sales!! So eventually I'm going to have it. I totally agree that Elysium is a scent of the gods. This is a masterpiece and such a joy to wear. I always get compliments; it radiates such masculine strength, aromatic happiness...Sandra love's it when I'm wearing it. And yes the parfum is a lot more complex and has greater projection and staying power. Personally Sem, great choice. A fragrance for life my friend. You're right with the sales, I was already hesitating with the 100ml Elysium Parfum for 50ml price, and then they even put a Haute Luxe atomizer with it. 😅 The thing I've realized lately is (for sure with Niche Fragrances), it may be better sometimes to buy smaller / less ml bottles even if they are a bit more expensive per ml, because with a large collection I probably won't see the end of many bottles. I plan on getting 35 ml versions of Oud Satin Mood and Gentle Fluidity Silver. But I know this Elysium will get used often in the spring / summer. Can't wait to try out his Vetiver Fragrance, what do you think about that one? *excuse me, just remembered the Maté Talk with Michael Marzano where you tried this one I also wish you, Sandra and the rest of your family the best for the holidays 🧡 🎄🎆

Elysium is a must have.
It is an absolutely beautiful smell. Simply gorgeous. It reminds me of a local favorite treat. There’s a smoothie seller around here called Jamba juice. They make an orange cream smoothie called an orange dreamsicle. Simply fantastic!

@@adamdar5121 It has average performance on me and that’s fine. I wouldn’t want it to be too loud or strong. It comes in and out to me but stays on the whole day. I sprayed inside my shirt and I can still smell it, very faint at the end of the day but it’s still there. So glad I picked this one up.

Roja Elysium Parfum Cologne was the one I was looking for. I am so happy that I bought about 20 samples from PDM, Xerjoff, Creed and Roja to test all of them first. It is ellegant, leathery, little bit sweet fruit scent, hard to describe, so many feelings in this and yet so simple. I absolutely love it and this is my all time favourite now. Ordered bottle immediately after testing. Received so many compliments. Used it e.g. at my work, for important meetings and it was a great successs. And longetivity? The scent should NOT be aggressive, but ellegant. This scent is for many occasions and for every part of the year. Hats off Roja, love this! And the drydown is a masterpiece.
In Australia $479. Meaning it’s at the ‘top end’ in the Niche category but the longevity, unique and oil concentration means you’ll get a lot of wear out it. Plus it’s a fragrance that will make sure you smell absolutely unique🥰
Mate I don't know what it was like 3 years ago when this review was uploaded. Today in Qld summer I get 4hrs tops. Glad I got a decant. Not worth close to 4-500 bucks. Smells great though.

And you add some great touches like adding the lady and josh. ... plus the reviews are unbiased and not too long... one thing i would add is this- when you review a certain fragrance i think it would be nice to say how is it compared to similiar fragrances (for example how does african leather compare with ombre leather etc?)

All in all i find Elysium sparkling bubblegumy and juvenile . I can`t imagine a mature straight man wearing this .
i don`t understand why some reviewers talk about similarities between Elysium and Aventus because there is none.
i don`t like Aventus at all ,but at least smells manly.

Let me just say that the Parfum version of this is a BEAST! Performs like a monster. One thing that I haven't done is compared them side by side on the actual smell; but I'm going to say that they are of the same DNA.

Great review , sadly just received my bottle from neiman marcus not liking it at all kinda gives me that pledge wood cleaner lemon version , also bought a flacon aventus 500 ml smells great dont last at all and nope its not nose fatige or watever is call , anyway do u think the elisium willl change over time after macerates as creed aventus is actually doing ?

As amazing of a fragrance Elysium is in it's own right I like to use it as a base to layer short lived citrus fragrances. I can take a very enjoyable yet finite citrus fragrance and extend it's noticeable aroma by hours.
I've never really explored the art of layering. I've had a few requests from subscribers to do something in this space....I feel that I need to invite someone who loves layering and get them to share/teach.
And yes, I can see how Elysium would really extend the life of your favourite citrus fragrances. Thanks Casey; great to hear from you

Love the biblical reference. I was just thinking about that the other day in bible class at church when we were reading through that passage. Got my parfum version of Elysium on order. If you ever get that one to do a comparison video of the two, that would be great. There doesn't seem to be much out there on that.
The Parfum version is awesome and to my view a distinct difference to the ‘Cologne’ version. And yes it would be a good idea to do a comparison video, this does make sense.

Elysium is perfect for summer/spring kind of weather. Naxos is awesome as a going out fragrance or even during the cooler months…. So if you are experiencing these two weather conditions then my recommendation is to buy both😉

ordered the Roja mens winter sample box and don't like Enigma or Elysium, Scandal smells like Creed Aventus and Amber Oud smells like a cleaning solution. i've got $4500 in cologne and apparently Roja is not for me.

My recommendation is go out and test these fragrance independently. Wear it for the day and see how you respond to it…. and then buy both😂

I find that Aventis is a perfect cooler weather winter fragrance for me whereas Aventus Cologne sparkles better in summer, but yet has that classic Aventus DNA

Ελυσιον means paradise in Ancient Greek. We have vibrant materials like juniper berries lime pink pepper and grapefruit. Which gives the effect of the light radiating from the man but the masculine warm materials of Vetiver benzoin and leather draw everyone in.

Awesome to hear from you! Not sure where in Oz you're located? But if you're close to any of the capital cities, then Libertine Parfumerie have stores within Myers and they're very flexible for people to test the fragrance's in the store.
Alternatively, if you're too far away, then you an go to the Libertine website and a number of the brands listed there have sample sets that you can purchase; which is a great way to now live with the perfumes (rather than just spray on the day at the store)
If you're interested, Kevin (from the Oligarch Boutique in Melbourne) and I are going to do a live online session in which we will be testing/discussing 9 fragrances from 3 different perfume House's.

Hey @Daniel Galarza, I haven't smelt Tom Ford's Ombre Leather, so I won't be able to give you balanced feedback. I did have a look at the notes in this fragrance and it seems a bit heavier than Elysium (notes of Oakmoss, Leather, Patchouli), but again, haven't smelt it, so don't really know.
What I do know is Elysium is awesome. Have great sillage and longevity. I recently filmed a blind smell with the new guest on the show (Natasha) and she loved Elysium....but the big question! Have you tried it on your skin? Have you had a chance to smell it on you? You gotta go with what you love and makes you feel good😎

Hey brother God bless. I am a young pastor, and I’m willing to buy my first niche perfume. I’m looking for something to wear at night for church and events, and want something that smells expensive, that is noticeable to people around me, that lasts over 8 hours and that gets me lots of complements. I am 30 years old and love in Miami (humid and warm weather).
So, I’m deciding between Elysium roja, creed Aventus, creed green Irish tweed and Au coeour du desert. Which one will create the most impact and give me compliments? I want to smell like the boss haha
Hey my brother, God Bless You To! Great to hear from you and I love that you clearly identified what you what the perfume to do:
1. Longevity
2. Projection
3. Compliment Getter
4. Smells Like A Boss
The perfect line up! Something that everyone wants from their perfume, for sure.
Regarding Elysium, because you’re in a humid location I’m not sure on it’s projection and staying power. I have a feeling that the version I’m speaking about here (the Cologne version) might evaporate too quickly. You could try the ‘Parfum’ version of this fragrance and I’m going to say it will have a lot more kick.
Both Aventus and Green Irish will be winners and tick all the boxes above.
However one that I would recommend you try, that also falls into the above catergory, but has it’s own unique scent profile plus it’s a ‘Parfum extract’ which means you’ll get more distance, is Hacivat by Nishane…this is an amazing fragrance and is definitely a ‘compliment getter’

Elysium: is subtle power. Citrus opening with a grapefruit note playing throughout the fragrance. It's fresh, summery, happy
Green Irish Tweed: is the confidence maker. It makes a statement. It's about letting people know you're in the room.
I find Elysium is more 'friendly' and GIT more formal

I love this but it just doesnt last at all. A little disappointing for the price point
I find that the staying power on me is about 6-7 hours (confidently picking up the fragrance), so it's not a beast mode perfume that will take you to 12hours +
But you're right in saying that it's a beautiful fragrance, I love wearing this one too

I haven’t had the chance to test Aurica (we don’t have the full collection in Australia)….I had a look at the notes on Fragrantica and this one looks amazing.
I’m a big fan of Woody Oriental (Amber) fragrances and this one looks like a winner. Have you had the chance to test this? I would be curious to know how it wears on you Edgar

Going into 2023 it is not worth it. Sadly
I think I have a soft spot for this fragrance. It's true that compared to some other aromatic fragrance's (like Hacivat for instance), Elysium doesn't have the same 'staying power' but I so deeply love the scent profile of this fragrance, it just makes me happy the whole time I'm wearing it.

For the price, don't even think of buying Aventus, overpriced water, get yourself Elysium, Orion by Tiziani Terenzi or Nishane Hacivat, all perform better than Aventus.

God this is so overrated, it lasts all of 10 minutes before it vanishes but of course all the free bottles roja sends out guarentees a load of "positive" reviews

You’re right in saying that the longevity isn’t huge, but I still get a comfortable 5 to 6 hours from the fragrance; with both me and those around me able to pick up the fragrance

This smell doesn’t really work for me. I have to massively overspray to have it last for more than 2 hours. It smells good, it’s a likable fragrance but I wouldn’t buy it again. I’ll take Oligarch over Elysium anytime.
Funny, I have heard some guys tell me this. I find that 3-4 sprays more than does me. But yes, Oligarch is way more punchy....but so is the price 😎

Wow this truly is the fragrance of the gods, I also love the greek mythology!
So far this is the only fragrance I've tried that I would spend that kind of money on (the extrait),
I find that the extrait has more staying power and is stronger than the eau de parfum / cologne version.
This is the first and only Roja Dove sample I've tried and it's one of the best perfumes I've smelled so far, so can't wait to try more from his amazing house.

On the one hand I love this purchase but I feel kind of guilty for spending 500 euros or ~790 aud on a fragrance, how did you feel getting your first expensive Niche perfume?
Apologies for the very late response to your comment here Sem. Let me answer your last question first.....I was much deeper in my years with niche when I spent my first big dollars (incidentally with Roja also) and yes, it did feel like "what am I doing???" BUT, this is what I love🧡🧡 (and I can see this is what you love too); so for me, I get some much happiness everytime I spray and use these fragrances that I've moved on. I guess the only catch for me is to make sure not to go crazy and loose my head buying, especially if I don't have the cash for it.....but for this purchase, I was saving up for it, so it was a conscious decision.
The other thing I've discovered is that "if not today, then later". At first I felt that if I didn't get the special on it, that I was going to miss out. I've discovered that there's a million sales!! So eventually I'm going to have it.
I totally agree that Elysium is a scent of the gods. This is a masterpiece and such a joy to wear. I always get compliments; it radiates such masculine strength, aromatic happiness...Sandra love's it when I'm wearing it. And yes the parfum is a lot more complex and has greater projection and staying power.
Personally Sem, great choice. A fragrance for life my friend.

You're right with the sales, I was already hesitating with the 100ml Elysium Parfum for 50ml price, and then they even put a Haute Luxe atomizer with it. 😅
The thing I've realized lately is (for sure with Niche Fragrances), it may be better sometimes to buy smaller / less ml bottles even if they are a bit more expensive per ml, because with a large collection I probably won't see the end of many bottles. I plan on getting 35 ml versions of Oud Satin Mood and Gentle Fluidity Silver.
But I know this Elysium will get used often in the spring / summer. Can't wait to try out his Vetiver Fragrance, what do you think about that one? *excuse me, just remembered the Maté Talk with Michael Marzano where you tried this one
