This is my interview with Roja Dove of Roja Parfums shot in London at the Burlington Arcade Roja Parfums boutique last January 8th.
The questions I ask Mr Dove are:
-What got you interested in perfumes and Perfumery?
-What made you decide to start a brand?
-What part of being part of a perfume brand do you enjoy the most?
-Which note or notes are your favorite notes to work with?
-Which is your most favorite creation? Not necessarily as a finished perfume but the actual creation process of it?

The way Roja Dove explained why there's a little bit of violet hidden in Great Britain was beautiful. The fragrances truly have a meaning and it makes them truly beautiful.

I love love love this video! Roja Dove is such a sophisticated gentleman, I could listen to him for hours. Now I'm even more exited about the Vetiver Extrait vintage that is on the way to my house, and about all the other RD fragrances that I still have to put my nose on. Well done, the both of you!

Wow! This is THE most interesting perfume related video I have ever seen. What mindbogglingly incredible craftsmanship this man posses. And the vocabulary to express it all is the icing on the cake. The olfactory memory of his mother struck a chord with me and I can relate to a similar feeling of a "festive air" whenever my parents also prepared to go out. In my personal fragrance case I would have to include a note of nail polish somehow. Leather, nail polish, iris.
Anyway, thanks for a great interview, please bring him back for more!!!

I found this to be so inspiring. Roja is charming! I debated on whether or not I should try the perfumes he makes. I just ordered 3 discovery sets, literally 15 minutes after watching this. I appreciate these videos you do so much. I have been enjoying the hobby of finding beautiful fragrances. I especially enjoyed hearing about what motivates this lovely artist.

It was captivating to listen to him tell a story and describe his creations. The passion and reverence he has for fragrance is apparent. You seemed to be in awe to be in his presence; I know I would be. I don't think I will ever be able to afford some of his finer fragrances, but I am determined to own a bottle of Creation-E some day! Outstanding interview with Roja Dove. I really enjoy his fragrances. They’re unique and astoundingly sexy, beautiful. You feel like a million bucks when you wear Elysium, Creation E, Great Britain and Vetiver.
Lol this is better than what I asked ( to see your Roja Dove collection). I have dedicated this year to saving up and trying to get as many Roja scents as I can! Omg I did not know it was this many Roja D scents.... I have a lot of testing to do. Ohh yea hands down the best bottles in the game.
This was a very great interview, Mr, Dove was very nice and interesting answers to your questions, very nice man. I think its wonderful that he makes a fragrance every year on his birthday. He puts so much thought into his fragrance creations, and I loved the idea behind the notes of the Great Britain and A Goodnight Kiss fragrances, and I have to sample Sweet Aoud! Is their a second part to this interview.
My condolences for the loss of your mother, Mr. Dove. My father passed four years ago but it seems like yesterday and still is difficult. Blessings to you. May your heart be held.

really good interview, feel lucky for watching it, the most interesting thing of the interview was that ambassador and politican of great britain asked him to make a fragrance about great britain what a pride, Im from Turkey, I really want to see fragrance of turkey, it would be interesting, with roja dove quality.
