Love Roja Dove. His ideology of "Each fragrance bottle and name captured a moment in time perfectly" is very relatable to me. Every perfume in my collection has a memory connected to it when I spray it, like Leau Dissey Pour Homme which always reminds me of home cause it's my Dads signature scent. My most favourite perfume ever is also from the Roja Parfum house. Absolutely love Burlington 1819. That beautiful opening with the sparkling grapefruit and mint. Plus that cumin adds more sharpness to it which I like. Then a little bit of saffron makes itself known giving some warmth. In the deep dry down, it goes in a rainy day soil type of oak moss which is just something I look forward to when I wear this perfume. It changes so much on my skin and that is why I love it and made it my signature 😁👍

Marcelo, great video. Have to disagree with the longevity of the cologne, I have never been so disappointed, smell i adore that lasts 15 minutes on skin. Just not made for me 😢
Good topic Marcello! But i disagree in everything. Roja is not better than cavallier, provenzano or Carbonell! With regards to elysium parfum cologne its performance is very bad! It has to do anythimg against imagination from lv, or vibrato or even torino21. I have to try the parfum. But again i do not think that roja is above lv, boadicea or even sospiro!!!!
You're opening line....You made me laugh out loud😂 Way to put me in my place😬 I love all the perfumers you mentioned...but come on; Roja can surely share the podium with these gents..? Appreciate you jumping into the conversation homie; greatly love the contribution and the different view👊🏽💫

Thanks to God I did not do a Diaghilev "blind buy"! I do not have much experience but do not put Roja in the podium. I like to listen to him, and I even like his shirts... but from what I have tested, I am not a fan. For example, you like oud like me. Roja Amber Aoud is not even in the top 20 oud fragrances... I prefer, Alexandria II, More than words, Ombre nomade, the three Ouds by Crivelli ( you need to buy the three, they are blind buys, and there is a box with the three), and wait to check the AII anniversary (above supreme leader material!)

I think this fragrance is copied by Bleu de Chanel and many people will agree. On my skin it lasts 1 hour with no projection and I have no problem with longevity and projection of any fragrance. I think Roja just copied Bleu de Chanel, tried to make it better, but failed.
I see where i going. But Eylsium is much much more refined. The performance on the other hand is solid, at least my bottle/on me. I get like 8hrs with 2hrs of heavy projection,4-6hrs Medium and last 2hrs as a skinscent.

So it must be me getting used to way more powerful things from Xerjoff, which I spray quite generously and can enjoy the whole day easily.
Thanks so much for the recommendation, I'll definitely check out Basso! Always appreciate your insights - keep up the awesome content! 👊🏽
Proper poster mate on your wall
Thank you! Classical 80's Movie😎
Sadly, Elysium cologne just doesn't last on me. Oddly, it used to a few years ago but these days, I barely get a couple hours at best. It's still fantastic though. I get a lot more wear of the Parfum however. Not only does it last quite a long time but I find it quite vivifying in the colder seasons when I feel a little de-energized.
Great to hear from you Jonathan and really appreciate you jumping into the conversation.
I've read from others that the Cologne doesn't last as long for them either; I'm always curious to know in these instance's if others can detect your fragrance?
Whereas I totally agree with your comments on the Parfum....100% my experience with this too♥️💫
Thanks for reaching out homie👊🏽
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector That's a great question, maybe I do go anosmic to it. I'll ask around at work next time I wear it see if others can pick it up.
I only own the Parfum Cologne. I've never smelled the Intense, but I don't find that I need the Parfum and the Parfum Cologne.
Yep, the Parfum is glorious. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts on Eau Intense once you get the chance to test this one out
Great to hear from you Roy; thanks for jumping into the conversation💫
Marcelo, great video. Have to disagree with the longevity of the cologne, I have never been so disappointed, smell i adore that lasts 15 minutes on skin. Just not made for me 😢
Someone suggested that I should get Elysium, over PDM, Perseus. Glad I didn’t.
Thanks for jumping into the conversation Ronnie… Appreciate the input💫
Good topic Marcello! But i disagree in everything. Roja is not better than cavallier, provenzano or Carbonell! With regards to elysium parfum cologne its performance is very bad! It has to do anythimg against imagination from lv, or vibrato or even torino21. I have to try the parfum. But again i do not think that roja is above lv, boadicea or even sospiro!!!!
You're opening line....You made me laugh out loud😂 Way to put me in my place😬
I love all the perfumers you mentioned...but come on; Roja can surely share the podium with these gents..?
Appreciate you jumping into the conversation homie; greatly love the contribution and the different view👊🏽💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Please accept my apologies if I was rude! "Yo hablo español" and my English is not good! I have 2 Rojas Enigma PC and Manhattan...
@@darllord12 No te preocupes Pablo, hablaste como un verdadero latino y me encantó💫😎 I hear you about Roja. I've been discovering that there are some wonderful nuances with Roja's work that I'm really enjoying....planning to share more in the coming months. And YES! Can't wait to test out AII Anniversary 🤩
Always good to hear from you Antonio and appreciate you jumping into the conversation. I personally don't find that Bleu and Elysium are the same; similar to @Jackson-jk9ff comment I find that Elysium has a lot more going on....especially the Parfum
It would be interesting to do a side by side comparison with Bleu and Elysium and see what these bad boys do😎
Thanks again @antoniopopovski5081 for reaching out💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector thank you for the reply Marcelo. My point was on Parfum Cologne, while every Parfum from Roja is a masterpiece in my opinion.
I am thinking in getting Enigma Parfum, but I may be too young for that DNA (I am 26).
@@antoniopopovski5081 Welcome Antonio! Not sure if you've tried Manhattan....this is amazing!! I spray this on my 6 year grandson and he rocks it! So as a 26 year you'll leave a wake of enamoured people as they experience your sillage🥰
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector Yes, I know it and it is on my radar! Thank you for reminding me.
I simply avoid any bleu direction fragrance,so i'll opt here for Scandal parfum cologne....
Elysium Cologne lasts 2 hours..that's known in the frag world. I'm wondering how you are getting 12+ hours
Great to hear from you Jay. In fact the Cologne gives me about 6 hrs worth; whereas the Parfum does give me a lot more with about 10 hrs (I mentioned this in the episode). I always prefer to spray on skin (stomach and solar plex) and find that as my body heats up, the fragrance pushes again
Hope that helps @jaymann8126; thanks for jumping into the conversation
👍👍👍
Thank you Carlito!💫 I'm off to Paris in a week!!! Looking forward to being in your homeland♥️
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector 👍Nice my friend enjoy enjoy. I really really hope and cross fingers to be better to recover I don't know if it's the write word my English is not that good. I got health issues since one year and a half and still doctor don't find what I have. It's long time. I can't wait to feel better and have a normal life again, go working, meet people, going out... 🤞. I will be super happy to meet you one day at esxence or when you come to France. I hope next year.
I have a few, but I never really clicked with that brand. A lot of fluff IMO.
Great to hear from you @FRD-HDD and interesting that nothings really resonated with you.
Have you tried some of the Aoud's? I find these ones are quite unique.
Thanks again for jumping into the conversation💫
@@TheNicheFragranceCollector I'll be honest, I have not had the chance to test the more expensive ones. It's not readily available in The Netherlands.
I have two, including Elysium which really disappointed me and Enigma of which I can't say it's spectacular.
I have about 400 pieces in my collection so some products (niche and designers) do stick
Again, I share my opinion and personal experience in a polite and honest way. I have no grudge against any particular house. What I wrote about Sospiro as a house is factual and what I just shared about Elysium is based on a series of disappointments with some Roja products.
Still love the channel, though :-)
@@FRD-HDD Thank you for sharing your experience💫 I personally love hearing how these various fragrance's work on everyone; it provides a much more holistic approach than just my view.
Greatly appreciate the support and thank you again for jumping into the conversation🙏🏽
Only the original Elysium POUR HOMME is the option. The others are money grabs. don’t last long. And over priced
Thanks Matt for jumping into the conversation; totally agree the Pour Homme is glorious💫
Both 100mls are fools gold for broke folk. It gives people the impression of getting a good product when in reality, both 100mls are generic and lack the quality of the Parfum. I'd only wear either 100ml to the office to not overdo it in a specific space.
Thanks for jumping into the conversation @DivineFrag; I love the advice💫👊🏽
