The basic simplicity of Falcon setups, is the advantage they have over the complex crap that requires a load of Computer Jive to enable an additional 2 MPH. The bone simple 170 and Three on the Tree is easy to maintain and can hang together on long rides. The best thing about Fords is the parts apply to several models. I buy a Case of filters that fit Trucks, Cars and the Tractor. Points as well seem to apply to several Distributors. The list goes on.....

Just my opinion after about 4 million miles spent watching idiots attempt to drive.
I don't have a Ford right now but I have an old Chevy truck with a 250 straight six and what I did was put the Pertronix block in the distributor to eliminate the points and then I just carry the original baseplate and points in the glove box in case the Pertronix electronic ignition block fails (which it hasn't in 4 years so far). This gives me electronic ignition and I don't have to constantly adjust and replace points and condenser.
@mibengal I can definitely do that, I'm having a lot of issues with charging currently, but as soon as I get it good, I'll make and over view video for sure.
I use window and door caulk for sealer ,good stuff and cheap for a whole tube
Good job, I had one of these years ago and they good basic no-frills little cars.

Even painting the rusty bare metal where the fuel tank sits is better than nothing
Nice. Have you considered putting in a Holly EFI? Interior looks awesome.
That little ranchero I showed next to it has the holley sniper efi conversion on it actually! So this one is gonna be my stock car.
