Thanks for posting. My daughter suffers anxiety. Listening to U helps me to help her. Your ability to self assess& communicate is brilliant.

Thank you for sharing Ami 💜 Wise words, and coming from experience it really does help the one struggling with the same kind of issues. It's hard to find the right words or to know what to do, if you haven't experienced something yourself. In my own life I've come to terms with small steps helping to get further, but still working on the thought that a feeling is just a feeling, and it shall pass at some point. It's about how you handle it, how you take it in and process it. Overall I guess we're here to experience things and to learn from them. We grow when we learn to cope with things. Unfortunately it's a long journey for some of us, and one may think woah when does this end, why is all this happening to me, why can't I just be normal like everyone else etc. What would be great to know is that not everyone else is "normal" compared to others (one should never compare himself to others) in the way we think - we're just built differently, but noone is better than the other one. Everyone is perfect in their own way, and everyone has to deal with mental health issues at some point of their lives, it's part of being a human. No matter how bad one may feel right now, it shall pass. It always does, but sometimes it's just takes a longer way. I wish someone would have told that to me when I was younger, would have made life so much more understandable.

I can definitely second the points about walking/exercise 😊 Doing that keeps me sane.. Until 5-10 years ago I didn't really understand these issues as I had no experience but having been through a few things, exercise turned out to be the answer 👍 The more people talk about this sort of thing the better so well done 🙂

Thank you so much for today Ami. I was listening to you perform in Blackburn and requested a song. You sang it perfectly to the point where it ended up getting me a little emotional. I sing it to my daughter and call her my sunshine. I needed to hear this and your voice, whilst it may seemed upsetting, actually settled me significantly. Hopefully I get to see you busking again locally soon. It was refreshing to take time out of the day to sit and listen and appreciate your art and passion for what you do. Thank you again.

Ami, have you ever tried swimming? To me, it resets my brain. There is something about water and swimming that really helps focus the mind and makes you forget everything else. It's a great way to keep fit and as they say, healthy body, healthy mind. All the best to you.
