And so your page is the 1 I send to people to check this phone out on And it has caused me to go back and check your non Poco F1 related videos You actually replied to 1 of my videos (which yet again makes me like this channel as I feel it is run by a human - not a business) and said it is hard to stand out on UA-cam. Muhammad Abubakar I think Muhammad most people who hate notches are people who have never used a notched design phone. The pros outweigh the cons by far and OEMs wouldn’t be producing them in record numbers if that wasn’t the case. The reality is, hated as the notch supposedly is it actually creates a number of benefits (higher screen to body ratio vertically, a bigger focus on reducing top sensor components, curved screen corners to match the notch curves). Ultimately the top phones in the world have this design and the market has spoken so will be using these design for the next year or so until truly bezels phones become commonplace. And if you hate the notch, almost every OEM has a way to disable. So why all the hate??
@@itsH4MD Well, the notch hinders a good screen experience. The notifications are wonky and it's Android, not iOS, so it's not well optimised as it has to support many devices.
Frankie Tech my friend lets face it, the only reason notched phones was produced in record numbers is just because the iPhone has it, and anything apple came with whatsoever it is being accepted blindly. Im an iPhone user since the first iPhone and im willing to switch to MI MAX 3 this time because i dont like the notch either, if apple gets rid of the notch take it a word from me not a single phone in the world will be produced with a notch anymore.
Frankie, what about screen protectors to Pocophone? I'm curious to see how good they are because of 2.5D glass. Some smartphones are ok with that but others are terrible. Thanks Patrick! I was lucky I was able to get a glass protector for my Pocophone in store here in Hong Kong, they even applied it for free! The protector doesn’t go to the edge so it avoid the issue of lifting on the 2.5D glass. And unfortunately I don’t have the Mi 8 anymore to compare, sold it and the 2S a long time ago! There's so much hype for these uber expensive phones that break when dropped, despite the premium price. It's mindless. This phone does pretty much all I want and I don't have to worry about scratches and drops. Best bang for buck without damage anxiety! Poco all the way!

Could you be a little more specific about the bottom speaker being way louder than the top on the Poco F1? I mean if you have the phone just like you have right there, can you hear the top speaker at all from that distance? I'm finding some of these stereo speakers claims on some of the newer budget phones to be bogus.
Well the main differences are sound output, and quality. The top speaker is much quieter and less full sounding than the bottom speaker. From a distance you can hear some audio separation, but it's not where near the level of the Honor Note 10. I'll be exploring this in my Pocophone vs Honor Note 10 comparison, so stay tuned.

100% poco man, the preformance is insanely good, the liquid cooling does it's job when gaming, and it'll get MIUI 10 in like a month, android PI in 3 months. It'll only get better.

You complained about the antenna band being ugly yet it is still metal build for the price. Here is one thing you might have forgotten, Huawei/Honor devices have better wifi signals since they make wifi routers and pocket wifis which xiaomi has no experience with. That is the most important part of the phone be it for surfing, chatting, streaming, and especially gaming. Pocophone may have the high specs but if it can't have a good wifi signal even through THICK walls, pretty much become useless gaming specs. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I am using Mi Max 2 right now.. and have ordered poco 128gb variant. Mi Max phones have only bigger display in it and longer battery life and Its a treat to watch media content in it. But it has lag.. even right now when i am typing this.. Those who often change their phones will find mi max 3 enjoyable but for long time users a strong configuration phone is a must. {Poco}

Recently I bought Honor play(about a month back as I am based out of India) Now after a month they launched pocco f1. So will I see a lot of difference in performance. Do I really need to upgrade to poco fine or is it fine?? Pls reply
You'll be fine with the Honor Play, still offers great performance to price, but Poco is just better in my opinion, it doesn't cut as many corners I feel in terms of overall experience.
poco : 1080 x 2246 pixels, 18.7:9 ratio (~403 ppi density) Honor : 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~409 ppi density)..... Wouldn't say 'no way near' would say neglectable
xanos .lauwereys i have used both the devices recently...Honor play display gives a galaxy s8 feeling....Feels like somewhat coming out...Also the colors r more vivid...Poco gives a feeling like using an old micromax device

Does DRM effect the UA-cam app? Or is it only effecting netflix, Prime Video etc.?
Just those services, I can still get 1080p at 60fps on my Pocophone, not a dealbreaker really for me as I rarely watch Netflix on my phone.

100% poco man, the preformance is insanely good, the liquid cooling does it's job when gaming, and it'll get MIUI 10 in like a month, android PI in 3 months. It'll only get better.
and about durability, i quote Dan's comment : ''This phone does pretty much all I want and I don't have to worry about scratches and drops. Best bang for buck without damage anxiety! Poco all the way!''
But I saw it cracked when dropped from 3 feet.. and I am person who dropped phones many time ....

This stutters you mention are a full gestures thing. When I turn them off there aint any stutters.

You complained about the antenna band being ugly yet it is still metal build for the price. Here is one thing you might have forgotten, Huawei/Honor devices have better wifi signals since they make wifi routers and pocket wifis which xiaomi has no experience with. That is the most important part of the phone be it for surfing, chatting, streaming, and especially gaming. Pocophone may have the high specs but if it can't have a good wifi signal even through THICK walls, pretty much become useless gaming specs. 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️
I am using Mi Max 2 right now.. and have ordered poco 128gb variant.
Mi Max phones have only bigger display in it and longer battery life and Its a treat to watch media content in it.
But it has lag.. even right now when i am typing this..
Those who often change their phones will find mi max 3 enjoyable but for long time users a strong configuration phone is a must. {Poco}

Hey man. Nice to see the videos you put on. Just want to ask 1 thing. I hold a mi max from past 2.5 years which is still rocking good. Recently I bought Honor play(about a month back as I am based out of India)
Now after a month they launched pocco f1. So will I see a lot of difference in performance. Do I really need to upgrade to poco fine or is it fine??

You'll be fine with the Honor Play, still offers great performance to price, but Poco is just better in my opinion, it doesn't cut as many corners I feel in terms of overall experience.

poco : 1080 x 2246 pixels, 18.7:9 ratio (~403 ppi density) Honor : 1080 x 2340 pixels, 19.5:9 ratio (~409 ppi density)..... Wouldn't say 'no way near' would say neglectable
xanos .lauwereys i have used both the devices recently...Honor play display gives a galaxy s8 feeling....Feels like somewhat coming out...Also the colors r more vivid...Poco gives a feeling like using an old micromax device
