How to Fix BIG TOE Pain for Good

  • Dr. Rowe shows how to get rid of big toe pain FOR GOOD, and it's shown in an easy to follow step-by-step guide.
    First, a quick big toe pain relief muscle, ligament, and tendon (aka soft tissue) massage technique is shown that may help release stiffness and tightness, quickly helping to give toe pain relief in as little as 30 SECONDS.
    Second, we'll go over a self mobilization (or self release) of the big toe and first metatarsal to help increase range of motion and mobility of the feet and toes. This is particularly good for achy, ARTHRITIC toe and foot pain.

      12:30 Could you please suggest a method for people with small-ish hands? I can either curl my fingers around the outside of the foot OR put the ball of thumb on top of the joint. Certainly not both 🤭

      Dear Doc, hope you are well and I really THANK YOU for all the videos. Really helpful from tension headaches to releasing back knots. May I please ask if you have anything I can do to help Foot Drop. I'm not in so much pain but I simply cannot move my left foot upwards, same with my toes. I live somewhere where I can't get any professional help. I show the videos and everybody looks at me as if I just landed from Mars. Only option I was given, surgery, which will only help with keeping my foot straight so I won't drag it and fall, but not actual healing.

      Yes. I need to know how to get rid of quarter size knots on the left a right side of my neck! I’ve been using emu blue to try to rub them out. How do you break them up and what exactly are in the knots? Some are so painful 😖

      The big toe on the door dorsal? flexion was absolutely really needed for me personally...

    Sometimes pain can be so isolating, especially odd pains like this that are hard to understand for the people around if they never had it or are not not a specialised medical professional.       Goodness, it sounds like you don't have good people around. It's a sad state of the world if we only understand our own things and none of others, and even sadder if we have to go to specialized medical professionals for empathy and understanding. Of unshod people, less than 2% have hallux valgus or bunions. It's another consequence of the modern disease of lifestyle. There's a study that showed 3/4 of all kids of 5-6 years old had a tilted big toe already.
      Btw I'm sorry to hear you had this pain and was isolated by it, hope you are doing better! Much love.

    Actually worked. I walk about 6 to 8 miles a day at work up and down stairs and this really just gave me some relief. I do yoga among other things and it had been really bothering me. Thanks!

    Yoga Teacher. over stretched Great Toes doing overly ambitious downward dogs and who knows what else. I Have had to stop teaching. I scoured youtube for ideas and by far, your stuff is the best. Did not have a tennis ball , so I used my dryer balls. One is a woolen ball and the other is the plastic dryer ball with the spikes. Both feel incredible. Thank you so much. I may be able to get back to teaching Yoga because of your video. Your local patients are lucky indeed to have you.

    For years, I suffered from piriformis. Chiropractic adjustments helped a little. Then figured out it was my foot, not my hip. Compression arch supports helped a ton! I think this will help me fully recover!

    Wow, you've earned my sub!! I was having my first bout of what i self-diagnised as sesamoiditis this whole past week, it would come & go w varying degrees of pain, and yesterday was Bad, i was like, hobbled, couldnt put weight on it, nothing- i found your vid before bed, was skeptical but desperate, so i did what i could of the manual manipulations & the metadorsal(?) massage, and i woke up this morning with almost no pain, and more toe mobility than i have since this started!! THANK YOU!!🎉✨💯

    Omg this worked like magic! Ive had pain underneath my big toe for months, tried a bunch of other videos on here and none of them worked... but I felt instant relief from these techniques! I think it was the one at 4:30 that might have helped the most - thank you!

    I don’t want to get ahead of myself .. but these exercises are actually helping .. I’m coming off a football toe injury .. struggled for 2 months till I found these exercises … consistence is key I suppose ..
    I keep the a ball right next to my bed.. so it’s the first and last thing I do around work.. which is pretty much standing all day …

      My experience as well. I had accidently popped my big toe out of joint. Excruciating. After 1 session I felt relief. I will keep doing the routine while it heals.

    I've been doing a lot of high intensity workouts which involve a lot of toe flexion and have been experiencing a lot of periodic pain in one big toe and assuming I have turf toe. I've been doing a lot of icing of the joint which helps to some degree. I didn't think that active stretching could help since the workouts move the joints so much. On first try of your stretches it does appear to help and hopefully including this in my daily routine will ease some of this pain. Thank you!

    I wish I saw this video earlier, I play basketball and stumbled my big left toe, for a month now my workouts has been very poor, can't run, can't jump any more... But just a minute of doing this work on my toe... I feel very good

    You saved me from a terrible night. I had severe stitches in my toe that were keeping me from being able to sleep. The directions you gave and remindingvme also of tight Calve muscels helped me to handle so I could finally go to sleep.

    That first wall stretch is on the front of the arch, just BEHIND the ball of the foot. (the ball is not under the ball of the foot but just beind it.)

    Had an off and on problem caused by a marginally tight shoe with my right big toe. It felt as if a nerve was being squeezed by the ball under the toe. Your procedure with the small "crack" worked wonders. I plan to learn and practice all to ensure I never have this distressing problem again. God bless you.

    So grateful! Quick "big picture" question.: better to keep the big toe stretching and moving for severe "wear and tear" arthritis? Or do you recommend keeping the toe from movement or impact?
